Our experience left us extremely disappointed…read more As a family navigating cancer treatment, we rely on dry ice nuggets for cold capping during chemotherapy. The nuggets are essential because they are much easier to portion into bags that are placed between the cold caps, which must be changed approximately every 25 minutes to help maintain the scalp temperature needed to maximize the effectiveness of cold capping and help preserve a patient's hair during certain chemotherapy treatments. On the day we visited, they had received dry ice blocks instead of dry ice nuggets, so they couldn't provide what we needed. When we asked where else we could go, the gentleman working there seemed very reluctant to share the name of another distributor. Ironically, that referral turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. We discovered another local supplier charging approximately 75% less per pound for the same dry ice, and they even offer a discount for cancer patients using it for cold capping. We had unknowingly been overpaying by nearly $100 each week. To make matters worse, while we were there, the gentleman openly berated his employees in front of customers because the wrong product had been delivered. Watching employees be spoken to that way created an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere. Businesses certainly deserve to make a profit, but families facing cancer are already carrying an incredible emotional and financial burden. Discovering that we had been paying dramatically more than necessary for a product that is critical to our loved one's treatment was incredibly upsetting. If you need dry ice for cold capping, I strongly encourage you to compare prices before purchasing. I only wish we had known sooner.

I had been using the glacier machine across the street at sprouts that was really getting old and dingy but noticed this new cool looking machine on my way out of sprouts and decided to test it out. I ran into the technician while filling up and he showed me on the spot how clean this water is with a testing gadget he had on him and he also taught me how important water quality is.... stuff I did not think twice about before. Surprisingly it's also a local company so I'd like to give local businesses my support. I will always fill my water here from now on. I have been using it now for several months and I appreciate that the machine is always clean and shiny looking. It only took me about 30 seconds to fill up my huge water jug too.. Quality is A1. Water is so light and crisp... amazing actually.

We put 5 dollars in the water machine to fill up our 5 gallon bottle. It took all the money and only gave us 1 gallon of water. Some of these reviews go back almost a year complaining about this exact problem. So clearly they know about it and are purposely not fixing their machine to steal from their customers. I called multiple times since they were closed during business hours. No one ever called me back. You should be ashamed of yourself stealing from the same people who are trying to support your business. Karma is real, remember that.

On the day of install, Constantine and his team arrived when they said they would. Their work was efficient, clean, and custom. We did encounter one issue, but they rolled with it and resolved the issue with no problems. They cleaned up after themselves and went over the system in detail with us. They were patient and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend Water Purification Systems for your water treatment needs here in San Diego County.
