Im so disappointed in all of these bad reviews. Sounds like management has changed since I lived there. We had a great experience, it was always quiet, we lived on the freeway back side. It was nice because they allowed a cat. I was considering moving back in there but with the reviews I'm kinda scared off. Sorry most are having negative issues. The apartments were really big, and the closet space! Even tho only 1 bathroom, that was perfectly fine. But there's only 2 of us. I just really miss my clean spacious apartment there with all the amenities. Its been quite a long time ago, tho. Seemed they were quick to fix issues as well. read more

If I could leave a zero-star rating, I would. This place does not care about its tenants at all. The apartments have serious roach infestations, mold issues, and many units lack working air conditioning or heaters. Maintenance is ignored--some roofs have even collapsed due to ongoing leaks that were never fixed, making it miserable when it rains. Safety is also a major concern. They rent to anyone without regard for tenant safety. Gunshots can be heard at night, and police are frequently on the property. The owner, Chris, only cares about collecting rent. When you move out, they fabricate charges to keep your security deposit and refuse to provide an itemized statement showing what you supposedly owe, which is required. Do not rent here. This place is unsafe, poorly maintained, and dishonest. read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could. We are Campfire survivors. My husband works for Enloe and they helped us find these apartments. Although I'm grateful for the roof over our head, living there was a nightmare, to say the least. Like everyone else mentioned, the apartments are infested with roaches and smelled strongly of cigarettes. When we mentioned it to the office, they told us that they were aware of the problem and working to fix it. They took no initiative to make the apartment livable prior to us moving in. That is when they should have sprayed instead of making us pack up our entire apartment so they could spray, months later. Only for it to last a month before the roaches came back. The apartment manager is rude. She talked down to us and made us feel stupid anytime we talked to her. When we mentioned anything that was wrong with the apartment she would throw cracks like, "well you could always move out if you don't like it here." Another thing, I never expected to be treated better than any of the other tenants. But we were treated as if we weren't tenants. Our air conditioner never worked. We mentioned it to management multiple times. Long before summer started. They said they were working on all of the broken AC units, and will get to ours soon. We figured since it wasn't summer yet, we could hold off. Come July, we brought it up again, and they basically told us that since we weren't their tenants, we were Enloe tenants, we were their lowest priority. They told us they were going to give us a brand new portable AC for the time being. They brought us a portable swamp cooler which only seemed to make the heat worse. The apartment was already hot and stuffy. We have a 1 year old and she was very uncomfortable and cranky all the time. We couldn't go another day in that heat. We finally mentioned it to Enloe, and they hired an HVAC company to come and fix it. But the AC unit was so old, it went out again in a month. Like I mentioned before, we are campfire survivors. We were thankful to have a roof over our head after losing our home in the fire. We didn't expect to be treated better than anyone because of that. We just wanted to he treated like equals, but never felt welcome. It never felt like home for us. Which was difficult mentally and emotionally. 9 months after living there we finally bought a house and moved out. Thank God! We had a terrible experience there. Like I said, it was a nightmare. Literally. I'm typing this at 3 in the morning, 2 months later because I just woke up from a nightmare about cockroaches crawling all over me. I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

My family and I were going to rent an apartment here, we waited about a month to move in to a unit. we were supposed to move in first on August 9th. We moved up here then they told us that the apartment had been trashed by previous tenants and we would have to wait to moved in until later in the month. We were set to move in on 8/29/14 I loaded my moving truck and headed over there to move in. Upon inspection of the apartment it was filled will roaches. Dead one and alive ones. We decided not to rent from this place. The management staff took an oh well approach to this. Poor customer service. I had to scramble to find another place to move, I had to rent the moving truck for a few more days. I would not suggest this place to anyone. read more

Absolutely the worst!! Allow me to explain why: 1. During our move in inspection I noticed the apartment smelled strange. They said it was from the paint. But it smelled like some sort of deodorizer. After a few hours of being in there my husband and I both had headaches from the (very) strong cigarette smell. Sense I was was 7 months pregnant we decided that was not healthy so we talked to the office, they told us we were out of luck (essentially) and we spend almost $200 on air purifiers to try and get the air clean before our baby was born. 2. Also during the move in inspection we noted there were things broken/missing and were told they would be fixed. A week went by and we reminded them of the issues. Several weeks went by and again I reminded them. Months later I gave up and noted them on our move out inspection. 3. The apartment complex looks nothing like the pictures. It is dirty and people leave crap everywhere. Things are broken, trash is thrown, and grocery carts left daily. We complained to the office about music, drugs, etc and nothing was ever done. 4. The month before we moved out I called and asked how much I owed (because we moved out mid-month) and I was told nothing because I had over paid. Cool, I thought. Til a month later we never received our deposit back. When I called and asked why, I was told "oh I must have looked at the wrong month". Really? Yes. These are the idiots they have in their office; they don't even know what month to bill people for. The complex is run down and no matter how many times they say "under new management" NOTHING changes or improves!!! read more

The new manager is rude and has an obnoxious attitude! She smirks and talks down to us! Yick! Each time I have visited the office she speaks down to me...for absolutely no reason! Horrible communication and customer service skills. The apartments themselves are filthy. No matter how much they spray, there are roaches EVERYWHERE. I am a very neat clean person, and they are still taking over my apartment, consequently, I have to rewash all dishes and utensils before I use them, because they have dead roaches, their random body parts and poop on them when I pull them out. Also, I was told our apartment was upgraded...evidently upgraded meant we had new linoleum floors. Everything else is old and dingy. The cupboards in the kitchen were ancient, dirty, and shockingly repugnant . The horrible old smell emanating from them permeated the entire apartment. There was no way I could put food and dishes we eat off of in them. They smell of dead bugs and filth, and the unfinished old particle wood on the inside was flaking off. I couldn't unpack my stuff. I told management of my problem and they gave permission to paint the insides only and line them with contact paper, but didn't offer to do anything to make them livable themselves. I had to spend around $100 bucks on paint, primer, roller and pan, and contact paper. It took my boyfriend 4 days to finish the renovation, then I lined them with contact paper. They still smell, but at least the insides are clean. Also, our neighbors who we have never met stand outside late at night and yell insults at us when we pull up, in a language they think we don't understand. Our first night here, as we were unloading boxes, we parked on the side of the street for 5 minutes so we could unload the heavy boxes in front of our apartments. The first neighbor we saw did not say hi or welcome and just rudely told us not to keep our truck there permanently...as our arms were loaded with heavy boxes, obviously moving in. Our other neighbor was wearing a T-shirt that promotes racism and abuse . We are very quiet people who keep to ourselves, so I don't understand the negativity. It's a very unwelcoming property. Between the filthy bugs, the undesirables that dwell here, and high rent, we will not be renewing our lease here. read more

I have lived here at the Spring Mountain Apartments a little over a year and I absolutely love my place. The apartments are in a good location next to stores and a great school. The property is very quiet and have had huge improvements in the last year. I highly recommend this complex. The people here are very welcoming! read more

Moved recently to the area , neighbors say the old manager was mean idk the new one in the office is a nice lady , about 2 weeks ago I had a leak in the apartment, she had her workers take care of the issue right away, so that was amazing, and about the roaches thing, the manager said they were getting routine sprays, and I haven't seen none in my home at all, I had my apartment sprayed twice and that took care of the issue. The issue is in the spiders on the porch I cleaned it out and less than a week it was full of spider webs!!! Hate it! Wish they would spray for the porch for the spiders. read more

Tamie R's review is fake. How very untrue and disgusting they wrote the last posting of themselves!! How would tenants know what different models they have or people who want to rent without the office telling them this is the fakest Yelp review I've seen!!! Who does that for fake ratings these apartments are horrible they don't fix anything I've done work order after work order they leave to lunch for about 2 hours and she opens the office at 12 the manager Melinda lives 15 footsteps away from the office come on.thats one lazy manager right there. On top of that she closes the office 2 hours early does her laundry when she's supposed to be working and uses the computer for Facebook and is always texting on her phone she's never in there when tenants need to put money on their laundry card when the only machine that takes cash is in the office and she knows that. read more

The new manager Melinda is so unprofessional it makes me sick! She has a bad attitude and should not be allowed to work there! As soon as you walk in the office you can tell she has a bad attitude why would you allow someone like that to work there? I went in to check on my app and I was very polite and she just was being rude and highly unprofessional. After they told me "I had my apartment" and made me put down some of my deposit they told me my apartment which should've been done a while ago already that it wasn't going to be ready for another couple of months. Like are you really that lazy?! Im living in my car and they said they can't do anything about it!! I told them I didn't want to live there and I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE YOU ARE BETTER OFF SLEEPING IN YOUR CAR! The apartments are not worth how much they are asking to pay and they constantly have tweakers in and out of there trying to get in peoples back porches so not a good place for a family! This place is so poorly managed clearly if they rather have those types a people around. There are constantly cops there due to the tenets and they don't care to do anything about it!!! read more

I gave property manager MELINDA ATILANO $100 in CASH to hold an apartment for me. I was told that it would be ready by the first of the month two months have passed and it's still not ready. I asked for my holding deposit back and she told me that I was not getting my money back because I'm choosing not to move in she is foul. This is BS and faulty. I put down a deposit for a promised date I should​ be entitled to my money back. I believe she is stealing the holding deposit​ money that's why she won't return my stock. There was another person in the office complaining of the same problem that same day. Corporate needs to investigate and fire her. what a thief so disappointed​ giving her my cash. I wonder how many people she stole from. There goes $100 DOWN the drain I will never see again. In the office,​ there is a sign that states money orders only and yet she was still swift to take my cash. read more
