So, when I needed urgent care and my PCP wasn't available, I was so thankful Davam was accessible. The staff here are so friendly & caring, and the providers are thorough & knowledgeable. All areas are clean & inviting, with extra touches for added comfort (complimentary coffee bar, refrigerated bottled waters, and masks, hand sanitizer, and tissues dispensed in every corner). This is a top-notch clinic. *Keep in mind, you'll pay Urgent Care prices (higher copay/deductible basis or hefty cash cost), but you will receive outstanding attention. The value is in the immediate care & relief. Additional Update 4/17/26: I had an echocardiogram scheduled today and arrived 10 minutes early…read more Despite that, I waited an additional 20 minutes past my appointment time. I also asked multiple times about the cost of the visit, and no one was able to provide a clear answer. At that point, I decided to leave, I'm not going to wait close to an hour for a practice that doesn't prioritize patient care or communication. To make matters worse, I am still waiting on my lab results. They confirmed the results were received on the 8th, yet I have not received any follow-up or evaluation. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, and I would recommend considering another provider. Previous Update: I previously left a review for New Wave Physicians Group and, unfortunately, I'm updating it again out of frustration. In my original review, I mentioned that my experiences with Dr. Carder and Dr. Troung were positive, they were both professional, attentive, and helpful during my visits. However, I also noted ongoing issues with the front office staff, and those problems have only gotten worse. It is extremely difficult to reach anyone by phone. Calls often go unanswered, and when someone does pick up, it feels like a rare occurrence. I've had to call repeatedly at different times of the day just to speak with someone, and on multiple occasions I've been placed on hold and then disconnected. More concerning is what happened after my most recent appointment with Dr. Carder. I went in for serious symptoms, had an EKG performed, and completed lab work. I specifically asked how I would receive my results and what the next steps would be regarding treatment or medication. I was told I would receive a phone call, but that never happened. After calling over 50 times, I finally reached someone who informed me that my results had been available for quite some time but had not even been reviewed. I also followed up on a sleep study that was discussed during my visit, only to find out it had not been submitted. The medications I was told would be prescribed were never sent to the pharmacy either. On top of all of this, I still don't have access to the patient portal. Despite multiple attempts to get assistance from the office staff, no one has been able to help me get it set up. These issues have been ongoing and are now affecting my ability to receive timely care. At this point, I feel like I've given this office more than enough chances and will likely be looking for a new provider.

Dr. Powellson was in NO way friendly, welcoming, comforting, or helpful. He was, instead;rude, argumentative, interrupting, judgemental, cold, and dismissive. He was entirely focused on my mental health diagnosis-which was NOT why I was there-and treated my physical health, as well as some important concerns I tried to communicate, as an afterthought. The room was cold, sterile, uncomfortable, and so is Dr. Powellson. I was immediately put off and defensive with his demeanor, and his lack of focus on my physical health rather than my mental- he seemed to form an opinion when I told him my diagnosis- was confusing and frustrating. I jave a lump in my abdomen and another in my pelvis that he NEVER EXAMINED, or asked about them after I mentioned it. I felt judged, as though Dr Powellson has a bias about people with BPD. The building and the lobby made me want to turn around as soon as I got there, and Dr. Powellson made me so uncomfortable; feeling judged and argued with, and frustrated, that I walked out of the appointment within 5 minutes of meeting and talking to him. At NO time did I feel like Dr Powellson cared about my physical concerns, or even HEARD them.This was just supposed to be a general physical and check-up, and Dr. Powellson made it the most uncomfortable, unpleasant, and awful appointments I have ever had.

We have heard only great things about him and my husband said after meeting him he is a very nice person and talks to you so you understand everything. So once I had to see him I immediately felt like I've known him for years. His staff is very friendly and it's like a 380 degree turnaround from the other doctor. We have heard horror stories after we stopped using him from other people who seen him and I'm so thankful we found a great caring doctor that is not rushing you in and out to just make money. If you don't mind waiting cause he's not rushing his patients out the door you will have a great doctor that has great values and his Oath to take care of his patients. It's hard to find great doctors and we feel very blessed he is our doctor.

From the sweet lady at the front desk (Kristina) who made registration quick & easy, to thoughtful Nurse Rommel, who gifted us with a small teddy bear as a brave patient prize, to kind & gentle Dr. Bechtel, we were seen by quality practitioners who gave prompt attention, treating our situation with professionalism & empathy. Being an over-protective parent, we felt it better to be safe than sorry and came here after our toddler got too curious for her own good. The clinic is open 24/7, so we were thankful to arrive after 10pm with little wait. Dr. Bechtel was not dismissive about the situation but offered light humor, comfort, and reassurance. They kept our kiddo in observation with us just long enough to make sure she was okay and marked our visit as "urgent care" (versus an "emergency") to ease the financial burden. Don't want to repeat the situation any time soon, but this will be our absolute go-to if a medical emergency arises again. Highly recommend this place and appreciate the staff who took care of us that night.

Came into America's ER and urgent care with my son around 3:00 am for stomach upset vomit and fever…read moreI asked if it they are urgent care at the front desk and she said yes. Wait was 5 minutes. My son was assessed by the nurse and then by the doctor and got an IV hydration and some pills for nausea. I mentioned that he maybe passed out or had a seizure 4 days ago. we stay there until around 5:30 AM when he was dismissed. Now I found out that the doctor decided to make an upgrade to Emergency room with no explanation about it. I was tired and under stress so I signed on their Ipad. The bill is 1,560 dollars for an IV hydration and nausea pills they also did a CT scan. he only had a stomach virus. Don't go over there unless you really need an Emergency Room
