His nurse then proceeded to rush me into signing up for the surgery and scare me with random facts. I later went to a second opinion at texas children's hospital where they said that he did not even have grade 2 tonsils - and they xrayed his adenoids and found no enlargement. I believe Dr Liu and staff are con artists. The hospital confirmed we are not the first to experience this. I hope no parents let this man fool them into unnecessary procedures for their children.

I came to Dr. Khetarpal about a year and a half ago with complications of polyps in my nose . Dr. Kheterpal completed a surgical procedure to have my polyps removed early last year and since then I've been able to breathe and smell completely. If I could recommend any doctor, he would definitely be my first choice. His bedside manner his knowledge on different medications and information regarding allergies is beyond amazing. I was definitely a difficult case, but he did not give up and I thank him so much. Also shout out to his medical team, Kay for working so hard to ensure the problem got solved as well. Time after time minor ER doctors just prescribed nasal sprays and antibiotics which did absolutely nothing but offer temporary relief. It wasn't until I was referred to Dr. Nicolau that my life completely changed. I immediately felt the genuine care and passion she has for her patients. She was incredibly warm and caring. Dr, Neilan recently performed sinus surgery for me. The actual surgery was very organized and…read moreprofessional and successfully completed in the planned timeframe. He personally checked on me prior to the surgery, which effectively communicated his caring bedside manner. After going home, the afternoon was uneventful. However, by 8:00 p.m., the bleeding started, and I had questions. I immediately called the answering service and Dr. Neilan responed quickly. He assured me that all was "normal" and gave additional suggestions for comfort. By late evening, I had more questions, so I followed calling the answering service again. Again, Dr. Neilan responded quickly. Talked me through what was happening, which calmed me down. He also told me to come to his office the next morning for additional help, which I did. It was a great help to have him clean initially, which opened my way for breathing. It just goes on and on.....each time he was there for me in a very positive, caring attitude. He ran a series of tests because if I were to get a procedure, he wanted to knock out all the issues at once. This included an allergy test, a scan to look at my sinuses and checked for deviated septum. The surgery ended up being for deviated septum and trimming down my turbinates. The surgical team and office staff gave me amazing instructions and were super nice. While the stints were annoying, I had very little IF any pain. Healing was a breeze. My post surgery check ups were with Tammie and she ensured I was doing everything right for fast healing. I don't remember the last time I could breathe this amazing and it makes being more active so easy now that I can breathe properly. If I had anything happen where I needed surgery again, 100% would do this again with this team.

I attempted to make and appointment. The nice woman who answered couldn't even say the word,…read more"tinnitus". occupational hazard. The conversation was brief. We got the PII and insurance information out of the way. Then we attempted to schedule and appointment. The soonest to their location near me was 12:12pm on Friday. Then I was told that I would need a hearing test first. Ok. That makes perfectly good sense. You sort of need data if you wish to event attempt to speak intelligently on subject. Then I was told that I would need to take the 8:45am, appointment in order to have the hearing test. So I thought the 8:45am would be for the hearing test and then I would see the doctor. No. The 8:45am was to have a consultation with the doctor. Then I was to have the hearing test. She lost me there. The 12:15pm was for a consultation with the doctor as well without a hearing test. A hearing test apparently doesn't matter so why the need to change to 8:45am? I could get the hearing test at a later date. The point is that they wanted me to burn a visit, which is time, money and needlessly goes against my insurance. I asked if I could just get the hearing test. Of course. But I would still have to have the consultation and followup visit. Huh. Sound like they're just padding the books. I should've been given the hearing test and then seen the doctor. Then we'd actually have something to talk about. You know. Those little data details called test results. The young woman was nice. She did tell that she hoped I got the help I needed. Man. So do I. A doctor's office that is more concerned about my health than its bottom line would certainly be nice. Sad day...calling them only made the ringing in my ears worse.

OH EM GEE! I live in Houston and usually schedule my doctor…read moreappointments in Houston but I decided to try this ENT location due to it's convenience to my job... I was having issues with my ears. I knew I had wax build up and bought those stupid wax removal kits (that do not work) TWICE. The wax was so bad that my balance was off, I would get dizzy while running and my inner ears would sometimes close shut while asleep on my pillow and then I'd have to carefully open them again..TMI, right? I know... Anyway, DR. PATEL!!!!! She was so amazing. She was very personable and walked me through the process. She safely and painlessly excavated all of my impacted wax! I FEEL LIKE A NEW WOMAN!!! LOL.. the office was neat and clean, Dr. Patel's nurse was super nice, the receptionist was friendly and best of all, they used a paperless electronic questionnaire system similar to an ipad that made checking in a breeze! I came back to work and told all of my co-workers that they need to go and get this done! I can hear so much better now! Thank you Medical Center Associates of Houston - Baytown :-) You guys are all right with me!!!
