I was referred to Dr. Jelic's office by my primary dentist for evaluation. From the initial contact…read moreto schedule my appointment (which by the way, their office initiated), to the actual evaluation, the staff was not only professional, but friendly and comforting. During the actual evaluation, Dr. Jelic sensed my anxiety and did everything in his power to ease my mind. I was scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed. The staff made the actual procedure much more bearable! I would recommend Dr. Jelic and his team to anyone looking for an oral surgeon. They are AMAZING!!!

I want to start by saying I have no doubt that Dr. Jelic is a great surgeon. However, please do not…read morestart a consultation or treatment here with him if you're needing orthognathic/jaw surgery. My grammar isn't the best and I know I'm wordy, but here is my story. I went to Dr. Jelic because he definitely has experience and expertise with surgical procedures. What I didn't know was that he has a strong stance against vaccines. There's a lot to unpack there but that's not the crux of what happened or why I'm upset. Due to his vaccination status, he isn't authorized to work in a hospital and cannot perform double jaw surgery. However- he does not tell you this until as late into the process as possible. This is after you have already invested thousands on the surgical pre-planning. For me, it was also after I had already been in braces for months. His lobby (which, honestly, is very nice and cozy) has jaw surgery pamphlets and his website as of today still features it as an option. They're able to collect quite a bit of money upfront with no intention of actually performing the surgery, then leave you hanging. I do not believe it is an honest way to conduct a business. At the time, I was told instead we can do one jaw at a time (several weeks in between) in his office. We decided to go forwards with this and scheduled to meet in 3 months. On the morning of my scheduled follow up, I got a call saying they would need to do both jaws at the same time and they can't treat me. I asked if there was anyone they could refer me to but they offered no help or sympathy. They did not respond to any emails or calls from me afterwards. I wanted to thank Siri because her review gave me the courage to say something when the rest of their reviews are so positive. I finally finished my braces journey and found out from my orthodontist that I'm not the first person this happened to. He was not aware of Dr. Jelic's inability to operate in a hospital until recently, with the other patient. This is someone he works with and he intentionally kept this information from. The first patient had gone through the entire process required to prepare for jaw surgery, only to be dropped last minute as well. I lost time, money, and peace of mind for months, not being able to get clear answers from his office. I ended up needing to change and redo my entire braces plan.I feel like the situation was extremely unethical and I wanted to put it out there, and hopefully help even at least one person out there who is looking into their options. This review shouldn't impact you much if you're looking to get a more routine procedure, like an extraction. Jaw surgery and the preparation required is a hard enough process on its own, place your trust and resources with an honest doctor.

Dr. Mahar is a godsend! I have been struggling with migraines for the last several months, unsure…read moreof what the cause may be. Little did I know, these migraines were a direct result of an embarrassingly decayed tooth I wasn't ready to face due to a horrendous dental history. I opted out of sedation, wanting to be aware of what was happening in the room. Dr. Mahar and his team worked in unison, talking me thru every potentially scary sound coming from my mouth and being certain I understood the necessity of a bone graft in preparation for my implant. Surprisingly, even the injections didn't phase me, as he kept the conversation going to distract me and worked quickly. I never once felt embarrassed or discriminated against because of my story or previous history. The extraction was pain-free. I felt safe and well taken care of. I was well-informed about what to expect in the days to follow and received a phone call, followed by a text message to check on me just a few hours later, encouraging me to contact him directly with any questions or concerns. Anyone in search of an Oral Surgeon, I highly recommend this team. The immediate relief I received and the artistically placed stitching was pretty impressive. I went directly back to work without a fuss. ...far surpassed my expectations of anyone dealing with my teeth. ::cringe:: Here's to a great night's sleep and no more migraines! I am looking forward to my upcoming implant. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I went 2 weeks with still extreme pain, and decided to go to my family dentist instead to find out... I did in fact have a post op infection. Fast forward 2 months and my tooth was STILL NOT HEALED and the office made it extremely difficult to get an appointment. WISH I NEVER WENT HERE FOR WISDOM TEETH REMOVAL. AWFUL POST OP EXPERIENCE.

He's 3 years old and the mask won't even fit his face. Anyway, I was extremely nervous as I was there to get all four of my wisdom teeth out and I had never been put under before. The doctor was very nice to me and made small talk the whole time and the nurse there, Marsha was the nicest person ever! I mean she reassured me constantly because she knew how worried I was and told me she would be in the room with me the whole time. The other nurse who administered the medication through IV told me exactly what she was giving me which helped ease me even more and the next thing I knew I was in the car with my husband. Very professional and sweet

It is now 1/20/2026 and we have still not received our refund. I have called multiple times and each time I have received a different story on why my money has not been refunded. First, I was told that the claim had not come in. Second time I called, I was told the the claim JUST got filed with the insurance. Third time, I was told they just received the check and that the person who sends out refunds would be doing them at the beginning of December. It is now January and I called and was told that they would call to get my check written for me. I'm trying to understand why it was not written in December when I was told it would be written. Still no explanation as to why I STILL do not have my money. They had zero issues taking my money. Why must I jump through hoops to get my money back??? And why can no one explain to me why it has taken over 3 months for me to get my money returned? I was hung up on and when I called back and tried to speak to the office manager, the girl that hung up on me got on the phone claiming to be the office manager. It's not even about the money because the refund is way less than the amount put out. Why do I have to stay on top of you to do your job???
