The things I have really enjoyed about MyOrthodontist are they have friendly staff, it's easy to…read moreget a hold of them via calling in if there is an issue with a bracket or wire breaking at home, their office is always clean and inviting, they have treated my two teens who have gone through orthodontia here (one is still in ongoing treatment) and have always treated them with respect and kindness, they take a number of insurances that many others don't, and overall the ease of visits are pretty good with their timeliness and efficiency with their appt time and treatment time. Also, after they are seen and treated, the staff person explains what was done that day and how to help your child with their shifting tenderness that they may experience after treatment. The cons are they seem to be very busy (and I mean very busy), so due to their heavy case load, my teens were not seen every 4-6 weeks as I was told in the beginning of treatment. So their treatment plan time seems to not go as scheduled, and neither teen have been very happy with having their braces longer then expected. They want you to arrive early and make no room for tardiness (the rule now is you can't be late at all or you lose your appt) this is most likely due to the fact they are so booked and need every person there so they can fit the maximum amount of people in within a specific time span of their working day. This isn't fully a con, because it's good to be on time (as well as arriving early), and it's good to have them be on time in calling the kids back for treatment (which typically happens here but sometimes they are running behind but that's to be expected at times with unforeseen's). But I think it's more them having too many patients, and the appts being too far in between the next visit just doesn't feel like the treatment timeframe they described to us when treatment first began here. I would have liked my kids to have been seen every 4-6 weeks (closer to 4 really if it was enough time for the prior treatment to take effect) as promised, and many times I am waiting two months and sometimes a few additional days to that for a return visit. Overall, I enjoy the staff, the location, the office itself...but still feel they shouldn't have such a long wait time in between visits and stick more to the projected treatment time as promised to us (unless there are major unforeseen's with treatment not going as planned which is far more understandable)

She quickly said I had been misdiagnosed by my previous doctor at my family doctors office. She suggested an alternative treatment since my previous treatment was just masking my symptoms. A follow up was scheduled in 3 weeks and it went well with me showing signs of improvement. She had me go to LabCorp for a liver test. She refilled the meds she had prescribed and scheduled a follow up in 4 weeks. I have been very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone. The phone wait time is a problem I can deal with.
