Hired this company from PA for a 4-plex purchase in FL to pump/inspect the 4 septic tanks prior to…read moreour closing on the property. This company, together with the home inspector (also on site that same day) MISSED AN ENTIRE TANK - told us there were only 3 and that the front building shares one larger tank due to the well being on the other side of the property. Seemed plausible, so we move along. They provided zero report of any kind for this "inspection". No photos. Nothing but a phone call saying you have 3 and they look fine, we're done and gone. We're now working to get the property fixed up and despite paying $1,248 for these inspections, we STILL don't know exactly where the access lids are located since Payless buried them again with no photos. We didn't get fully moved down for a few more months, so the grass was grown back over and we couldn't tell where had been dug. We have since purchased our own very expensive sewer scope and locator only to find we do in fact have a 4th tank that Payless completely ignored. When we hired another company to come pump that 4th tank after finding it ourselves - they showed up with the permitting plans for our property and knew not only that there were 4 on the property, but exactly where the 4th tank was before we even showed them. Why did Payless not check these records? We are still learning and didn't know to look for those records at the time, but I would expect a professional in this business to know about them. We also now know that all 4 tanks are original and the same size, so that was a lie telling us that the front building shared one larger tank. How does a professional septic company not own a locator?

It wasn't until Cesar at Miracle Plumbing came in that things started to improve. Using his leak detection services Cesar was able to quickly identify the root cause of the problem that every other plumber and even our home inspector missed. The main stack for plumbing in our home was not only cracked but practically severed in half, causing a major leak and damage to the surrounding wall, frame and floor. Cesar not only provided an estimate to resolve this problem once and for all, but he also pointed out that we could use our home owners insurance to cover the restoration costs that would be involved. Those costs ended up being considerably more than the costs to fix the plumbing issues, and we were obviously very grateful for his insights. While getting new flooring installed we discovered a leak in another bathroom. We immediately called Cesar to take a look. He quickly identified that the issue was a result of improper installation of the wax ring being used on the toilet. A $12 part and proper installation saved not only our new flooring but a lot of headaches down the road. Cesar is the only plumber we will use now. We have the new one which I definitely prefer to the one my parents had from 1988. In the office I had spoken with Sarah to set up my first inspection. Very personable, patient and had me set up within a week's time. Mike had come out to do the inspection, I unfortunately had stepped out but he took the time and explained everything that needed to be done and why over my Ring camera and Francis called me a day later to set up the cleaning. (Septic was not cleaned out from previous owner, good news is we get to start fresh!) Francis called yesterday to verify time for technician to arrive. Messiah arrived this morning, was extremely nice, explained what he was doing answered questions and that once he was done that another technician David would be by to turn off the water and let me know what we will need to do going forward. I didn't know how full the tank needed to be so an hour later I called and spoke with Francis asking if I needed to turn off the water and she said she would check in with David and put me on a brief hold. But the drainfield may need replacing and I can't get an answer as to why that would be.
