The association board hired Dave. Our maintenance man and vice president joined him on the inspection. Dave did nothing our two men could not have done themselves. After Dave's elementary inspection of the complex, he only found three toilets that were running. We knew there was more going on than leaking toilets. But Dave was quick to email an invoice, trying to charge MORE than he had agreed to charge! He texted when he wasn't paid within the hour, texted again. Our treasurer responded that as soon as he emails a corrected invoice he will get paid. He did and he was. A few days later we find that Dave totally MISSED an ongoing leak in a concrete slab. He walked right over it to get to the toilet. A water slab leak is exactly why our bill has doubled. A leak of this magnitude is exactly why we hired a professional. Dave was not thorough nor does he care! We made a mistake hiring Dave, owner of Water Watch of Florida. Don't make the same mistake. Our board president phoned Dave to tell him of this serious issue. He texted stating he didn't hear the leak when he entered the condo. Seriously! We will hire another leak detector to pinpoint the exact location of this slab leak. Dave took the money and ran.
