Customer service was absolutely worth the drive! We commuted from over an hour away just to work with Will. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient explaining the different options for silencers. We really appreciated the time he spent answering all of our questions and helping us purchase the perfect birthday gift! Thank you Spring Guns & Ammo you have earned lifetime customers! read more

As a 10 year customer, and let me add that I have always had a positive experience there, great staff, knowledgeable and happy to talk. I have purchased several firearms and used the range as I planned to do today. However something occurred today that annoyed me. I signed in and the clerk wanted to inspect my ammo, that's new but OK. I open my bag and was told I could not use Nickel plated cases, only brass. I explained that I hand load for revolvers and take my brass home, I don't throw them on the floor. Sorry no Nickel cases but we will sell you ammo. So I said I'll be on my way and left. I can't imagine going back. I would be curious to know if they only sell "Brass" 9mm, 45acp, ect ammo. strange. read more

I shoot at SGA-Crosby regularly.....at least twice a week, usually more. I consider it my home range. The staff is absolutely awesome! William (the manager), and his staff (Landon, Hollie, David, Amanda, Sebastian) are always willing to help and welcome all customers. They are knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and helpful. That is why I do not like to sat what I am about to say.......it seems like SGA-Crosby is going down hill. The shooting lanes on the rifle side very often have a lane down, and on at least one lane, the controls are reversed. The staff does a great job keeping the lanes functional. The shooting lanes on the pistol side are WAY outdated. The six lanes are operated on a cable system that reminds me of myb my mother's old clothesline when I was a child. Send the targets out on any lane, then wait 30 seconds or so for it to quit bouncing up and down so you can resume your shooting. Lately, the store's inventory has been very slim. The Blue Label Glock showcase is practically empty, and the selection of handguns in general has been slim. They do have what seems to be a decent stock of silencers, though. The store itself is kept clean and neat by the staff, but unfortunately, there is nothing they can do about the parking lot. The lot is uneven, and after a rainstorm, there are numerous water puddles all over the shell parking lot. And when the lot is dry, it is so dusty that one needs to get to a car wash to rinse off the dust. SGA-Crosby is a good, convenient range for which residents of Crosby, Highlands, Huffman, and other close in area to go to shoot. It could absolutely be a great range with just a few very needed updates; the shooting lanes target movers need a better, more reliable system, and the parking lot could really stand a major upgrade. I am a member at SGA, and I will continue to patronize the SGA-Crosby Indoor Range, but I truly wish ownership would make some much needed improvements to make SGA-Crosby an even better location. read more

The range is always empty, that's why I usually go here. But this time both lanes we were using went down and the staff didn't really seem to care. So we just packed up. Would have spent more time and probably bought some ammo, but what's the point when you cant retrieve the targets. Walked around the shop and the staff didn't really care, and didn't ask if we wanted to see/handle anything. Probably won't be going back, yea it is cheap but there is a reason. Also we feel like their range doesn't have adequate ventilation, my lungs hurt after spending a hour or so there. read more

Great place to go shooting! Very clean, organized, and simple. Checking in took less than 5 minutes. Had a wonderful time practicing with my two pistols. No rapid fire, but you can do isolated double-taps. Rifles and handguns allowed. read more

Amazing service and huge selection of glocks they were super nice as well and have their own gun range. He let me use the range right after my purchase for free. Also gave me two certificates to use at any one of their locations for the gun range in the future. They do a lot of FFL transfers too and had suppressors. I can't say enough good things about everyone that works there. Really appreciate their service and yes they actually answered the phone when I called to inquire about stock. read more

Check them out this summer. They have demo days on the weekend. You can go out and try out new guns for $5-10 rounds including Lane fee and target, with no other charges. We were able to shoot a fully auto and a silenced 45 ACP. Get on there email to find out the deals. read more

I took the defensive pistol 1 tonight. Very in lighting, I'd never actually shot a gun in a move and shoot or under pressure type setting before. Not as easy as it looks, but I was getting the hang of it by the end of the class. Worth doing, I'll be taking the defensive pistol 2 class in the near future. read more

Love this customer friendly gun range. Excellent gun selection. And took my carry class here. Everything went great.

I try to shoot there at least once a month. The staff is super friendly and fairly knowledgeable. The prices are decent and the place is clean. Like other ranges, they have rules that they enforce but those aren't unreasonable. Overall a fun experience everytime read more

I just wanted to say a thank you and to give a review of this great facility. I went to their store with little to no experience in firearms. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable. The spoke in such a way that it made me at ease and was very patient with any questions, I may have had. I was able to take some classes there about gun safety and really helped me over my fear of not knowing much about guns. I was not sure which firearm I wanted to purchase, but with their gun rental kiosk on the property. I was able to try out multiple brands and calibers, to see which I preferred. The also have classes on license to carry as well as defensive classes.Taking their defensive pistol 1 course really helped me see the things I myself needed to work on. Between the gun range, the gun rentals , as well as the courses they offer, I Can recommend them , and their facility and their staff. Would I go back ,yes! Would I recommend them ,yes! It's nice to know that someone could go in with little to no knowledge and still be treated so well, by patient, passionate people. read more
