Loaded fries from Chef Tony's Food Truck and a sweet crepe from Creative Crepes.

The property of this vineyard is beautiful. The layout was confusing at first and I didn't feel like there were enough signs, but people were helpful when we asked for directions. It was extremely hot today and there were minimal fans in their outdoor seating section as well as very few indoor seating options. It's not their fault that it was 90 degrees, but some more fans would have been a nice addition. The food trucks were great! Such a good idea to have a variety of food options. The wine slushees were by far the highlight-- very delicious! Overall it was a good and pleasant experience!

I literally cannot express to you how much we love this place. We did not like wine until we started coming here. Any time we have friends come from out of town, we bring them to Spring gate. Whenever we aren't sure what we want to do for date night, we go to Spring gate. They have activities like bingo and trivia on different nights of the week, tastings, and live music frequently. There is always something to do. The only complaint I have is how expensive the food is here, and they don't allow you to bring outside food. Regardless, we keep coming back for more. Their chocolate renove is amazing, their regular renove is fabulous as a slushy, and their blueberry and strawberry mellos are dangerously delicious. We have visited numerous times, and I only wish I had the money to go more often. I can't get enough of the good times we have here. It's gorgeous as well, so I encourage you to check it out if you haven't yet!

Me and the girls planned a girl's weekend in Hershey and wanted to visit a winery. After searching through Yelp, we decided to go with Spring Gate Vineyard. This winery has wine tasting everyday all year round. For $9 you get to try nine different wines plus you get to keep the wine glass. The day we arrive (a Sunday) it was the Cranberry Fest. We had to park out in the field farther away from the building, however, there was a walk way that took you back to the winery. Maybe a 2-3 minute walk. While heading to the winery we noticed several food trucks. The winery doesn't serve food. We ended up trying the tacos which were really good. As we continued to walk towards the building, you could see people sitting outside by the fire pits with bottles of wine. A perfect crisp day for it. When we finally made it to the wine tasting area, we noticed it was crowded. We decided to wait since that's what we came for. After waiting at least 20-25 minutes, we found a space at the bar that would fit all 4 of us. The drawback about this place (at least on this day) was there wasn't enough bartenders for the wine tasting and probably why the long wait. There was at least 5-6 groups at the bar with only two barmaids. As soon as the barmaid would pour the wine he/she would have to run off to assist another group. Another barmaid would have made our experience more enjoyable. Would I come back again, I'm not sure since there are many options in the Hershey area.

I recently visited Spring Gate while I was in the area staying at a friends house. I had been here once before, pre-pandemic, and enjoyed it! During this second visit, Spring Gate was hosting the cherry festival, which selected products were discounted. We got there around 4 PM. I originally wanted to have a peach mango slushee, but they were out of it. Instead, I had a cherry wine slushee, which I enjoyed but my friends did not. They were promoting a lemonade lavender mix you could make at home, however, you could only purchase it outside, which did not make sense to us. We walked around to find that some places where you could purchase drinks were closed, which definitely limited customers. Eventually we found a place to sit indoors that had beer selections. A couple of my friends had those. Then, they closed that bar at 6 PM, which we found odd for a pretty busy Saturday evening. I'm not sure if all the different experiences were due to covid restrictions, but we were a little let down overall with our time there. A plus side, I enjoyed my time with my friends! It is a beautiful place to visit.

Long lines for sweet wines

Cool venue, but if you're having events on weekends and expecting a crowd, you should probably have sufficient staff on-hand. They do wine tastings in batches. We were told they were currently doing a tasting but we're almost done and we could join the next batch. After waiting around for 20 minutes, we gave up and went inside to stand in the bottle/tap line. Another 25 minutes in line and we finally got drinks. The cashier didn't know anything about the wines (what is sweet, what is not) as she said she was only on her 2nd shift. My wife and I don't like sweet wine, so we asked if we could taste before ordering. The answer was "no, you can only do tastings outside" where we gave up. So we ordered the least sweet drinks we could and they're completely undrinkable. There are also at least 2 additional bars that are closed and should be open on a day like today. Pic is part of the line to buy a bottle. Edit: tried the beer line. Also took 20 minutes. To pour from taps...

Things that need improvement- none of the lights in the parking area worked. Very dark at night. The other downer was, no breakfast. We've moved passed Covid, offering a bagel or muffin would save me some time in the morning. Aside from those two things, as long as the price was right I'd stay here again.

They have a little store with snacks and drinks near the check in desk that you can charge to your room or just pay for. They also allow pets up to 80 pounds for $25/night. They're only about 20 or 25 mins from Hershey Park. Now my personal experience: I'd like to start by saying we got in late and checked in around 11pm. First the front desk worker said that I didn't prepay (I did) and we went back and forth for a moment before I started looking for my receipt. While I was looking, he ended up seeing that I did prepay. Ok, cool. We go up to the room and had JUST set our bags down when the phone rings. The same guy was on the phone and said he got a noise complaint about us. We were so confused. I said "we literally just walked in the door. You checked us in." He then seemed annoyed and said "it's quiet hours right now". I do have 2 small kids but they were dead tired from all the driving, half asleep, and barely talking. My husband and I were talking at normal tones. After this happened, we spent the rest of the time that we were actually in the room on edge. I did reach out to the hotel but never got a response. We were barely in the room the entire vacation because we spent all our time out and about doing vacationy things! A couple days later, at 10:20pm I was the only one awake and the hotel phone rang. I'm assuming another complaint because what else would it be? I didn't answer it because my kids were on either side of me so if I got up, they certainly would wake up. I was watching one of my class lectures on my laptop so I just turned the volume down. The last night we were there it was 8:20pm and we had just gotten back. The people below us started aggressively hitting their ceiling. I'd had enough and went down to the front desk. The woman was incredibly nice and apologized and said she would pass it on to the oncoming shift. The room was comfortable although I wouldn't say it's sparkling clean. There was a sticky liquid splashed on the wall, the moulding in the bathtub had mold as well as the shower head. The floor by the cabinet in the bathroom also appeared visibly soiled. The water in the tub drained incredibly slow so you're standing in about 2 inches of water while you shower. Under the beds was actually pretty filthy and had old earplugs, qtips, candy, and other junk.
