I got a very unprofessional message stating prices that were never discussed or explained. I was told they needed to charge a repair fee, a cleaning fee and a "level 1" cleaning fee so for a 1 bedroom apartment that was in perfect condition it cost me $247. Never once explained what my charges were for and why. Very much felt like I was being taken advantage of and will never ever recommend them to anyone.

However, I cannot as they never showed for the appointment I made to have my carpets cleaned. I'm frustrated enough with how apartment leasing works in Iowa City; typically carpet cleaning falls on the apartment complex. So wasting two hours waiting on a service that I never received is infuriating. I scheduled service for the last free day I will have this summer and so now I'll have to displace another appointment to supervise the service. Steve with Premier Cleaning of Iowa City may not find two hours valuable, but I do. A phone call to advise of lateness or to attempt rescheduling would have been acceptable, if a little disappointing. In the least, answering the phone or returning the voice mail messages I left (an hour after the scheduled appointment) would have shown some concern for the situation. In the end, I got neither of these showing that Premier Cleaning of Iowa City has a complete lack of professionalism. I cannot recommend Premier Cleaning of Iowa City to anyone for any purpose. Based on other reviews, they are very good... when they show up. However, based on my own experience, they may not show up at all.

They provided us with a very reasonable price and even took time to answer our 7 year old's questions. After having our carpets cleaned, our property manager said they looked great, but our tenants had a concern about leftover pet hair. We emailed Premiere Cleaning and asked if they could return to our property and address our tenants' concern. They did so and addressed our tenants' concern promptly and politely.
