It was very short notice and she responded right away with a quote and we messaged back and forth quite a bit because I had lots of questions. She's offered a discount off her next clean if my daughter wants after she's moved in. Overall very happy!

I'd love to tell you how great the carpet cleaning service is from Premier Cleaning of Iowa City,…read moreto echo the other glowing reviews posted here. However, I cannot as they never showed for the appointment I made to have my carpets cleaned. I'm frustrated enough with how apartment leasing works in Iowa City; typically carpet cleaning falls on the apartment complex. So wasting two hours waiting on a service that I never received is infuriating. I scheduled service for the last free day I will have this summer and so now I'll have to displace another appointment to supervise the service. Steve with Premier Cleaning of Iowa City may not find two hours valuable, but I do. A phone call to advise of lateness or to attempt rescheduling would have been acceptable, if a little disappointing. In the least, answering the phone or returning the voice mail messages I left (an hour after the scheduled appointment) would have shown some concern for the situation. In the end, I got neither of these showing that Premier Cleaning of Iowa City has a complete lack of professionalism. I cannot recommend Premier Cleaning of Iowa City to anyone for any purpose. Based on other reviews, they are very good... when they show up. However, based on my own experience, they may not show up at all.

First, I adored that I could get an estimate on the Yelp app. Five local companies responded to me-- but ultimately Scrubs was who I chose. Second, the owner (Malinda) is so pleasant to work with. She provided tons of information via email, which is my preferred form of communication. I was scheduled the next week on my preferred day and time! Two wonderful ladies came-- Gwen and Marcia are freaking miracle workers. My house sparkles after their visits and they are very kind, professional people. Third, an invoice was emailed to me shortly thereafter. The pricing is on point and very competitive. It was exactly what we had discussed previously via email. And so it keeps going. If you have a problem, admit it. Call Malinda and Scrubs Cleaning Services. Get the sparkling house you deserve!
