The good news is that the laundry was picked up promptly, seemed to be clean and was nicely folded. The bad news is that it was returned to me a number of hours after the promised deadline, and it came back without a brand new set (minus one use) of sheets and pillow cases. I promptly went into the store (it was a Saturday) and explained the situation. The clerk took my information and told me she would contact the boss and that the boss was usually "pretty good" about responding, but that there was no more the clerk could do. I said okay, and that if I had not heard anything I would be back on Monday. To my disappointment (but not surprise), I heard nothing and returned to a different array of clerks. One of them went through the same fruitless (but really, really slow) search of all of their storage closets (to no avail) and interrogation as had been performed on Saturday, contacted the boss, and returned to say, in essence, that I was out of luck. Among other excuses were (1) that the laundry weighed the same before and after, so I "must have" gotten everything back and (2) that their cameras did not show any sheets in my order, so "I did not bring any in". Clerk #2 showed no proof of either of these assertions, delivered in a tone that made clear she thought I was lying, and refused to put me directly in touch with the boss. She clearly did not consider the possibility that I might be telling the truth and made no attempt to act in accordance with the tried and true rule that "the customer is always right". I insisted that I needed to hear from the boss, and if I had not, I would be back the next day. As of this writing, the boss is silent and no attempt has been made to make me whole. The sheets were not particularly expensive, but a business that does not stand behind its work is not one with which I care to do business.

I was in a serious debacle trying to wash clothes in my own building that I had to google this…read moreplace because I wanted to try it specifically. From the outside it appears to be clean, inviting, and never busy. Once I arrived, it was very clean, smelled good, organized, excellent service from the staff, and it was very spacious. Bonus to this place is that it is not coin operated. You will need to purchase a laundry card and add the funds . . . how neat! In hindsight the machine in my building not working saved me from walking up & down the steps and only doing 2 loads at a time. I arrived at 11 and was back home by 1:35 and that was after washing, folding, putting clothes in bag, and walking to the carry-out and liquor store. I might ditch the convenience of washing clothes again in my building and go to the neighborhood laundry mat and get it done much faster!

I had put my clothes in the machine, put my soap, put my card in and went to push start and the machine was giving an error that the water was low and it wouldn't let me start the machine. I went to call the guy for help and I said hello to him, he didn't say anything back. I went to the machine and he followed me and tried to start it but it didn't work so he restarted the machine. He then walked away from me not saying anything so I kept saying "excuse me, excuse me" and he just kept walking. He finally turned around and I asked him was he going to refund me the money the card took, he said that was what he was going to do....WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING THEN?? He came back and restarted the machine and it was still giving the same error message. He then told me to move my clothes to a different machine and I was trying to explain to him that I already put the soap in the machine and he just kept repeating "move it to another machine then proceed to yell at me "what did I say!?" and that I don't listen and started pulling his ear while yelling at me that I don't listen. That was utterly rude...I am not his child and there was no reason for him to get loud and disrespectful with me.
