When it was time for pizza they announce your party. We had a room on the side. There were picnic tables in there and cubbies for the shoes and a small fridge for drinks. When the kids checked in for the party they all got skid proof socks to wear in the park. Plenty of time for pizza, cake and presents.

It's definitely a lot of fun, I just don't usually stay to eat. The pizza I tried tasted like it was a frozen pizza honestly, and the wings I tried were apparently dry rub, and they were just too dry for me... go figure. I wish I had known here were different options for the wings (I forget what sauce it was, and I didn't specify so I got the dry). If I had to guess, it was a Cajun type. I do like their loaded fries though, and their quesadillas are pretty good, but if I remember correctly, the jalapeños in them were pretty spicy. Their bathrooms are always disgusting. Sometimes no toilet paper, the floor is always wet, sometimes the paper towel dispenser isn't working, and well today, the toilet itself wasn't even working. All the dirt from the baseball fields (plus there's an outdoor beach volleyball area) gets into the restaurant.

There's always something going on here, the bartending staff is always so laid back and easy going, it's enjoyable to sit at the bar and hang. However, the starting point on a lot of the holes where you place the ball, the rug is a bit bunched up so you have to move your ball or else you just hit the bunch. I've gone twice, once on a Friday night which was packed and on Halloween which was abandoned and when I took the pictures. I was here for one of the city recycling events which was fairly well organized as well, always nice. I didn't know this park existed on the east side but now that I do I'm glad. It's nice it's well-maintained it looks like it's cared for and it's probably a great asset to the area.

There isn't really any seating .. a couple of benches and picnic tables. You have to bring your own chair in. They cut the "field" in half for the younger kids (referring to soccer here because that's what I come here for) and this results in balls from other games going on coming onto each other's playing fields. The worst part of this place is that smells like sweaty .. ummm .. "soccer" balls. As soon as you walk in the smell hits you in the face. I smell it every time I come in and I want to throw up. The turf is nice. I will say that.

They're owned by ECC, but are used often by BDSL teams which send overweight beer-bellied men to kick the crap out of each other on Sundays and sometimes Saturdays and Tuesdays too. I've played soccer on these fields probably 20 times in my life, most recently about two summers ago for an away game which was brilliant because I scored twice. Great memory. I love the fields. I always play better on lush green fields with the grass well cut and this is not always well cut but it was on the day when I got my win. These days it's 15 seconds drive from my Gym so I come over here and play soccer just for fun with friends every now and again even now. These are absolutely lovely fields, but they get too windy, and they also get a little neglected during the cold months of the year, which is a shame but understandable. All in all they score a solid 4, and I always enjoyed playing here.
