I just purchased a scooter and needed a general tuneup and also a tire replacement for my back tire. Bobby was super helpful throughout the whole process. He showed me a couple things on the scooter that was very informational and broke down the price point of what's going to be assessed and done to the scooter. I took it in around 1:30 in the afternoon and he told me it would be done in roughly 2 hours which was spot on. I was relaxing in a coffee place nearby so I wasn't too far. After walking a short distance, I was back at Sportique and I mentioned how I wanted a basket for the back. We went through lots of options and I was able to select one that would fit for me. I also purchased a helmet face covering for my smaller helmet that I haven't been using. Definitely walked out a happy customer. 10/10

We had a great experience with them, we bought our scooters from them years ago. They came to the house to pick up my scooter and did a complete tuneup was all a scooter now is purring. They sell a variety of Scooters and other equipment, I WOULD definitely recommend them.

From my experience they don't really listen to your problems or just don't care…read more I had them press rear bearings for me and when they did they seated them incorrectly, costing me over $1000 having my wheel hub replaced as well as the 2 lyndall sprocket it chewed up in the process. My fault cause I brought them the bearings apparently. when all that it needed was a rotor spacer $4 part. Not sure how with all the experience in the building that couldn't be deduced... their response was " as long as the rotors not rubbing it's fine" it wasn't anymore cause they pressed the bearings incorrectly.... Still my fault cause I supplied the bearings.... Then they put in a 1250 kit on my sportster in which every gasket leaked atleast twice and I was given some grief at the fact that I wanted a bike that didn't leak from the owner and push back. On top of that I'd been chasing a noise they refused to actually pay attention to and just gave me the run around every time I dropped it off. only to find out doing my own due diligence the bolts they removed to install the kit aren't torqued to spec. I wasn't charged for any of the additional gaskets needed however for the one job my bike saw their shop atleast 5 times that summer, not counting the time I had to re drop it off cause they didn't complete the service I requested. I originally had a better review posted but I'm still leaking oil from my base gasket on the rear cylinder and I'm having to go through my bike and make sure bolts on the drive train are actually tight and I'm constantly wondering what care was taken re building my rocker box's and the other internal parts if I have bolts on the outside loose. Shops beautiful, summers nice. Other than that my experience wasn't great and as it's known for being performance driven I expected to be taken care of much better and I shouldn't have ever even had any push back to having my bike fixed properly.

A bubble test showed that there was a leak and the air pressure went from 38 to 26 in a few hours time. I could still drive the car if I pumped up the right front tire every day. I got some great advice to take the car to Woody's Wheel works. They were able to repair the wheel today. The bent wheel is straight now and so far is holding Air pressure nicely. It would've cost me $1000 to get a new wheel. Woody's fixed it for 30% of that price! Recommended.

I originally came in to fix three oil leaks and have the bike serviced ( brakes, chain and valves)…read more I was told they could do it in a couple weeks time. After 5 weeks of no contact from them and me trying to get any kind of update, they said the bike was ready. After three rides the oil leak I specifically pointed out, was leaking again. I take it back in and they say that was a different leak and make me pay for the repair a second time. Instead of trying to get me back out riding it takes them 2 weeks to look at it and give me a written estimate. The parts they are ordering don't fit my bike( thankfully I caught it) and take another 6 weeks to get in. In total they had my bike for 3 MONTHS to fix something they said they could do in 2 weeks. Overall review is they're a very unprofessional shop from the owner on down. Prices are the same as a dealership but you don't get a guarantee behind the service. The communication from them informing you of updates is non-existent. Will give you time estimates on repairs that they can not meet and won't return calls to explain why. If you can find a different shop I would!

Was charged slightly over an hour of labor for the job, which is very fair for two tires with the wheels still on, perhaps even on the lower end of some estimates. Bike was ready for pickup the next day, so I was fit in quite quickly. The labor rate reflects the fact that this shop is geared towards speciality bikes, vintage bikes, etc., but also comes with a similar level of quality service for normal bikes, which the shop will happily service. Additionally, the labor rate is still lower than Honda dealerships. I mostly interacted with the person working the front desk, who was incredibly polite and friendly, which was an excellent first impression. Overall, I'd recommend bringing any bike here for work, and will revisit the shop in the future for maintenance/modifications.

I contacted John at Moto Fix and gave a rough estimate just for the seal replacement and suggested if I wanted to save on labor cost I could remove the engine from the bike myself and just bring the engine in if I felt comfortable with doing that, which I did. Since the engine had to be completely disassembled I told John to do a "top end" and anything else that needs repairs, just keep me posted. John kept me updated and informed every step of the way. John is very meticulous and I feel he gave my bike the same care as if he was working on his own bike which is why I went to him in the first place because I don't much trust the big bike dealers repair shops. It did take a little time for John to get it done as he had a lot going on and he is basically a one man show but it was well worth the wait. The final cost with all extra work was very reasonable and slightly less than I was expecting

I expect to lean much harder on John in the future. Superb work by a master mechanic.

Great guy (and from my home town, it turns out!). I have a 1978 BMWR100s, the local shops won't touch these old bikes, and after a little discussion we made an appointment to have him give it a look. It hasn't run in about 5 years and had a ton of things wrong, wouldn't start, etc etc. Once he took it in he got right on it and within a couple days supplied me with a comprehensive, detailed report of what it needed, broken down into various stages with the related cost, from just getting it running to all the other fixes it would require to be a safe, reliable bike again. It turned out to need a lot more than even I realized so we agreed to stop after 'get it running', which he did. He had to get a bit creative as there were problem areas he had to do some workarounds on but, when the bike was returned to me it started with one push of the button and runs and idles smoothly! I was amazed. Now that I know I have a master mechanic to rely on, I'll begin shopping for a little bit more modern (ABS, etc) BMW to purchase. The first thing I'll do when I get one is have Matt go over it and make any needed repairs. If you need a bike worked on that Matt will take in, he's your guy.
