They cancelled the winter hockey season weeks before without ample notice. Got locked out of other areas because of it.

A perfect place where growth and character can be formed. Coach Dock was warm, welcoming, understanding, humorous, humble and helpful with any questions. I believe it's a great place and environment for my son. So happy to finally find a good place.

I'm not a fan of B-Ball yet my friend, Coach Dock of Shooting Stars, thought I should handle the clock for the start of his basketball league. Hahahahahahaha! Surely he's joking. He wasn't. Mitchel Gym is tucked away in Garden City and it'll be better if you have your own transportation to get to it. There is ample parking so don't worry. The gym is very spacious. A huge court downstairs with a balcony that has standing room only. The bathrooms are also a good size and they were clean on my visit. If you're using the gym for games/leagues, you'd have to supply your benches, tables etc. The gym is also used for the training of various sports. I had a wonderful time learning and clocking (I don't know if that's even a term) a game at Mitchel Gym. If you're in need of a club/team/league for your child, contact ShootingStars (number in pics). If you need more info re this facility, see pics for all contact info. I had a terrific time here! The End.

Yes, I was a basketball junkie and still play today anywhere I may find a game. This Park was one of my favorites because there was an early morning Sunday game with players from all over the place, and all with exceptional talent. Other than Basketball, the park offers a community pool, baseball, ice skating rink and many other outdoor park activities. But what really impressed me was the veteran's individual picture flags that were draped on street lamp poles throughout a roadway into the park. A great tribute recognizing our military veterans sacrifice for our country that affords us the freedom to enjoy this great life in the USA.

The building itself has some children's decor, a display of wall tiles and a little Christmas tree in the hall.
