Booked online through setmore (check out his Instagram Page to book - @cutsbymez) and arrived promptly in time for my appointment. He took me right away, but they have some waiting seating as well. He charges $30 for a cut, and it's well worth it. The salon itself is pretty hype, very nicely designed and spacious. Chairs are comfortable too. The parking situation is a little limited (there's street parking and a small parking lot at the back...can easily park in a nearby parking lot if you can't find). I'll definitely be back soon for a haircut from Houman!

My last visit was in early June and a 3rd younger barber was there. I assume he was related to one of them. He wore rubber gloves and by mid-hair cut it was clear he had not been formally trained. I asked him to stop after 15 minutes, paid and left. I've had a half dozen people over the past two weeks ask me if i had attempted to trim my own hair. My first two haircuts were 5 stars ..this last visit was barely 1 star. I was disappointed they think so little of their customers as to train new barbers on them. Beware, ask for one the two senior barbers when booking an appointment. The new guy needs to finish barber school.

I have been in search of a new hair place for some time. Being in the middle of a hair crisis, I…read moreran into Mr. Fame Barber Salon on a Saturday hoping someone would take pitty on me and cut my hair. First of all, the place is huge... it is shared witha full women's salon and spa. I went into the Men's side. A very nice gentleman who I later learned was the owner set my two kids up in front of a TV immediately and put on CareBears (although this was clearly not this type of place). The whole place was very chik. I was offered coffee or water... and the man took to using a clippers for my fade. I could see that he was spending considerable time and concentration on me. A women came over and began observing... I assumed it was someone in training. I was then asked to go with her. She took me over to a lie down washing sink. (Think leather lazy boy with a sink at the top). I was told to sit back and enjoy the ride. Wow!! This was fantastic. Hot towels were placed over my face.... various different shampoos and cleansers were used on my head, and then a full head massage... THEN some face and neck massaging with further cleansers (or some type of cream) that made my face tingle and feel fresh and clean. I was then escorted back to the barber chair for my barber to finish the job. Again, considerable time and concentration on completing the task to give me a fantastic hair cut. I felt great!!! I was blown away with this place. The whole thing cost 33 dollars and I tipped up to 40. I am not sure if this was a "First time experience" cost or what.... But I was sold. I'll be back for sure.
