She ensures it is a no-drama salon and wants to keep it that way. As a single mom of 2 and business owner she even taught herself how to do accounting for the business on the side, which shows nothing but dedication. Long and short of it from what I found is that they are amazing people that do an amazing job for an amazing price. I could literally see and feel my hair breaking off, don't think I've ever cried that much in my life. My hair was long, healthy and soft and ever since coming here it's been dead. Not only did I have to pay for the balayage (which was expensive on its own) but I've also now had to spend $100's of dollars on Olaplex products to TRY to fix my hair. All I want is to get my hair to how it was before. Every time I look in the mirror all I can think about is how short and damaged my hair is now and regret ever coming to this place. If I can give you one piece of advice it would be DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! When I came in, the stylist named Liz was the one who did my hair. Apart from her giving me the cold shoulder the entire appointment, when I asked if I could have beach waves after my wash, she perseverated if it was for a special event. Not sure what answer she was looking for but I told her I was going out to dinner with a friend later during the day, so no - it's not a special event. After a couple more minutes of uncomfortable silence, I told her to just leave my hair straight. Her mood instantly changed and she started smiling and making small talk about the weather. By the end of my appointment, I paid, left a tip (which I instantly regret) and stepped out of the salon feeling very dissatisfied. On top of receiving poor customer service, the blow dry I received was definitely NOT worth what I paid for. I would have given it a 4 star. Second haircut is a 1 star because of how angry I was and that he didn't get the haircut I asked for. Don't know her name, but she had bouffy long black hair.
