They also have socks, hats, and other accessories from your favorite club. After playing two seasons there over the course of a year on two different leagues, we've experienced horrible reffing and customer care among poor facility care. The overall facility is okay, and the recently added wood bleachers are good for watching games, but hard to maneuver around and already are filthy despite their age. Bathrooms and parking areas are good. The original turf that they had down their first season was HORRIBLE- but they've since replaced it for their second season, which is a plus. However, their first season the facility went through a no-game period after postponing games because of a gas leak, which did adversely affect some of the children training there for the day. (They have not had any recent gas problems, as far as I am aware.) Without failure, every game we've had, the staff starts the clock and does not tell the players, using up our valuable paid-for time. Injuries are unavoidable because the overall reffing procedure is "stand at half line and call things from 45 feet away" guided by a box ref that consistently displays poor judgment. I don't feel in danger, but I have yelled at refs while I'm playing to demand that they protect my goalie from certain players or ask they open their eyes to hard fouls and blatantly obvious grabbing, slamming into walls, and tripping. Talking to the management about both of these issues has resulted in NO CHANGE. Despite its decent value, I don't think that the customer service or facility at Gardner Village is where it should be, even though this is their THIRD Salt Lake location... Unfortunately, compared to the price and convenience to other businesses in Draper and South Jordan, they balance out to be pretty even pro/con wise on price, convenience, and facility. Let's Play at Gardner Village, however, is definitely not making an effort to stand out from the competition to be an obvious choice to play good, fun soccer.

Beware of enrolling and bringing your kids to the Kids Academy here. The Kids Academy manager Kim…read moreisn't friendly at all. She gossips with certain staff members and club members (like Brittany S. & Katrina N.) about other staff members and club members. And her minion employee Lexie doesn't even greet guests when you enter the Kids Academy. Kenzie, another Kids Academy employee, bullies select coworkers, their kids, and members' children. She and Lexie are only kind to select guests and their children, but rude to others. Some Kids Academy employees have even quit due to bullying and mistreatment from Kim, Lexie, & Kenzie. I'll spare their names for privacy, but a couple of Lifetime South Jordan Kids Academy's SWEETEST girls working there ended up leaving due to their mental health suffering. Also, a handful of the Kids Academy staff yell at and discipline certain children over normal kid behavior. They all seem burnt out. The extremely low pay probably doesn't help. Personal trainer Rob also tells children who are aged 12+ they can't be upstairs on the gym floor without even age checking them (kids age 12+ CAN be upstairs) or contacting their parents. He's only friendly to certain staff and club members. The new GM Matt is super nice and seemingly professional. He's made a lot of positive changes since he's established his role, but he has a lot of work to do with the current Kids Academy management and staff. He's at least approachable though, unlike the former GM Bridgette who was fired for a string of wrongdoings, including illegally performing Botox on the former spa manager (they did it to each other) while at work. Some of the lifeguards and swim instructors could use professionalism training or retraining. A lot of them seem bored, unfriendly, and entitled, but they're more preferable over the Kids Academy manager Kim and her staff, particularly Lexie & Kenzie. Those three have done some illegal and just outright horrible things too.

Real Salt Lake's home stadium is now called America's First Field. The stadium is very nice. Every…read moreseat has a terrific view. The stadium is well managed and clean. There are plenty of concessions available. The home games are VERY family-friendly. The main jumbotron is on the south end of the pitch, where the home team's boosters beat drums, sing songs and lead chants in support of the team. The home games are a lot of fun. They're even more fun at this moment, because the team is very good. The game against Houston Dynamo on July 3 put the team back into a virtual tie for first place in the Western Conference. And the post-game fireworks, during which they let the fans onto the pitch, were terrific. Real Salt Lake is Utah's only professional football team and its games are well worth attending.

They are always so very packed and there are a lot of passionate fans. The beers usually cost around $15. But this is normal for any type of event in Salt Lake. They have many food, options and activities outside the stadium while you wait or in between for halftime. The tickets are pretty cheap and if you have a last-minute plan, you can get some. I would recommend going to if you have not been and buy some cheap tickets. The views are great, no matter where you sit.

Definitely an affordable and fun thing to do with your family. The bathrooms with showers have always been clean and, because we tend to go right when the pools open on Sundays, there's never any lines to use them. There's plenty of lockers for you to securely store any belongings, but my family usually just leaves our stuff out with our stroller, parked where we can see it at all times. The kids area of the pool is right at the entrance. It has a small running water slide for the younger kids, a whole play structure with slides for the bigger ones, and the water is much shallower, allowing for kids of all ages to have fun! My twins love sitting tummy-deep in the water and splashing away. There's also a small lazy river that's a lot of fun to go around! My son is about 4ft 7in and he can stand with his head above the water and freely float about the current. Next to the lazy river is a huge water slide for those who don't mind climbing stairs and being somewhat high up. My husband and friend have said it takes you down a lot faster than they expected. It was a ton of fun. There's a rope separating the area of the pool where the water sliders come out and the lazy river / kid area is, so my son was able to have fun watching his dad shoot right out the water slide. Next to the large water slide are the lap pool and diving boards. The lap pool has a few lanes and is perfect for getting in some aerobic exercise. There are two diving boards; one standard 3 or 4 ft and a bigger 10 ft board. We've only been here for the indoor pools, but we would absolutely come to utilize the many other functions of this center.

This was really common and disgusting. One toilet stand was unbelievably dirty for 3 weeks until someone cleaned it. I put up with it until they cranked up the water temperature to 84F which made it impossible to do serious lap swimming. The pool managers I spoke to about it were extremely rude. My notes about the smell of urine didn't seem to make any difference. The front desk people were nice but calling to ask them about the pool availability was useless as they would give me incorrect info. By comparison, the Gene Fullmer's Center where I went to for a year prior to DD was perfectly clean, only more crowded.

The stadium has a great soccer vibe, and the unpadded plastic seats are comfortable enough to enjoy the game for a few hours. There are plenty of snack and drink options, though be prepared for the typical stadium prices that are on the high side. If you're flexible, waiting for last-minute seats can sometimes score you a bargain, which is always nice. The stadium does have some accessibility challenges for ADA and wheelchair users. There's only one place to store mobility scooters, so if your seats are on the opposite side of the stadium, it can be quite a trek. It definitely helps to have someone with you. I had to ride and drop my mom's scooter when the two of us went to a Real Salt Lake game last summer, which was a bit cumbersome but still manageable with planning. The stadium is well laid out and there isn't a truly terribly seat in the whole venue. It's designed perfectly so it's easy in and easy out, and I have zero complaints about the game day experience over the years. The team store is terrific as well, with tons of great merchandise if you need to get outfitted as a fan. While the name is now pretty generic and boring, America First Field is a solid spot for MLS soccer. It captures that local soccer energy perfectly, and I always have a great time cheering on Real Salt Lake despite the minor accessibility hurdles and pricey concessions.
