About this time last year I photographed the unfinished shop front of the Ann Street Spoon Street with its "opening soon" sign in the window for 40 Days Of Belfast.

Then I went on holiday for 2 weeks and when I came back it was still at the "opening soon" stage. Eventually it opened and became a welcome addition to the city centre. I worked my way around the flavours, generally only taking two of them or even just one. Of all the toppings, I only tend to go for blueberries (and occasionally, kiwi) and nuts. Actually, I don't really want a lot of the froyo because I'm as prone to headaches as I am with ice cream. No, I just want a little froyo as a topping for the blueberries and nuts. Now somebody mentioned spillage. Well, after a little experimentation, I soon realized that the thing to do is to put as much of the nuts and blueberries into the tub first and then literally squirt the froyo as a topping. If only the nut spillers referred to in the other review would do the same, there wouldn't be such a cross contamination risk as the froyo on top just sits there, unless of course you have too much for the size of the tub. I didn't do it today, though, as it doesn't make a very good photo that way. read more
