My friends told me about it and I feel compelled to share the good news! So as the name suggests, it is a milkshake bar... and they also serve the odd cupcake. You can take out, or there are a few seats for sitting in. The decor is 50's diner style, bright pastel colours and really fun. But the main draw is the amazing milkshakes. They serve every kind you can imagine, blended up with good quality icecream and milk (none of that horrible flavouring added to milk lark). The menu is vast, so to take the pressure off deciding, they have a selection of house specials like the Elvis (peanut butter, chocolate and banana anyone?!) Or you can just opt for your favourite chocolate bar, blended up with icecream, which is what I did. I chose the Boost... it was delicious. Straight after I had finished, I wanted another one. I must warn you that once you have visited Got Milkshake? you will quickly become addicted! Ok, so the idea may be a bit gimmicky and I'm not sure how long their idea will remain unique, but the milkshakes are truely delicious and the price is pretty reasonable too - £2.60 for a regular, £3 for a large. The setting is great, right in the heart of Stranmillis village so a handy pittstop after a day of sunbathing in Botanic Gardens, or as a nice end to a meal. I couldn't really imagine sitting there for ages, so for me, it's more a get it and go place. It…read morewas the board outside Indigo advertising 3 flavours of vegan gelato which caught my attention, this is a rare thing in Northern Ireland! I couldn't resist and was not disappointed. These vegan ice creams are made from coconut milk and are completely dairy free plus they taste fantastic and exactly like a quality homemade ice cream instead of sorbet. I tried all 3 flavours of raspberry, mango and strawberry and enjoyed every morsel. Really luscious ice cream which was absolutely scrumptious and flavoursome. It's also great value for money as three large scoops cost £3 which is much cheaper than similar would cost in one of the many Froyo bars which have popped up in Belfast over the last couple of years. The Gent who served me was extremely helpful and knowledgeable explaining exactly what the vegan gelato was made from and telling me what Indigo offer. The menu is small but delightful offering ice cream, coffee, pastries and soup during cold weather. This little café which is larger inside than it looks outside has lovely bright décor and a relaxed ambience. It's ideal for a sunny day as the small outside seated area is a sun trap. Indigo is the true definition of hidden gem. I plan to return soon for coffee and more ice cream. There's free WiFi too which is always a bonus and beautiful artwork on the walls.

Eventually it opened and became a welcome addition to the city centre. I worked my way around the flavours, generally only taking two of them or even just one. Of all the toppings, I only tend to go for blueberries (and occasionally, kiwi) and nuts. Actually, I don't really want a lot of the froyo because I'm as prone to headaches as I am with ice cream. No, I just want a little froyo as a topping for the blueberries and nuts. Now somebody mentioned spillage. Well, after a little experimentation, I soon realized that the thing to do is to put as much of the nuts and blueberries into the tub first and then literally squirt the froyo as a topping. If only the nut spillers referred to in the other review would do the same, there wouldn't be such a cross contamination risk as the froyo on top just sits there, unless of course you have too much for the size of the tub. I didn't do it today, though, as it doesn't make a very good photo that way.

I visited last week and thoroughly enjoyed it, trying the dairy free lemon (quite tarte) and watermelon (sweet tasting) options which the staff told me were dairy free because they are fruit based sorbets. These sorbets have a richer, creamier consistency than traditional sorbet, being more like whipped ice cream. All the usual toppings are available ranging from healthy fruits to sweets and chocolates. I did notice there seemed to be fewer flavour options in the city centre location than at Newtownards Road. Perhaps more seating space and less dispensing machines. I will definitely return, but as it's now October, it may be the summer months before I visit this or any other frozen yogurt bar again. The novelty of frozen yogurt is beginning to wear off a bit for me. Also who wants to eat such cold food during icy winter months?! Fabulous when summer sun is shining, but possibly not an all year round activity. Maybe they should diversify into mulled wine over winter time...

I visited today, Thursday 7 July 2016 and ordered a 2 scoop tub of ice cream which cost £2.00. These lemon meringue and Turkish delight flavoured scoops were soft, tasty and extremely sweet. I noticed 3 dairy-free sorbets offered as well in tropical, blackcurrant and lemon flavour, which I plan on trying over the summer months. Great for curing a sweet-tooth craving on a summer day.

Once you've had it you'll never turn back. I had a Cajun and coleslaw baguette today in fact! The ice cream and hot deli counters in the Ormeau branch are fantastic - the ice cream counter is like something you would see along the street in Rome or somewhere else that is famous for its ice creams! All the colours and flavours are a delight to behold. The deli offers your usual sausage rolls and the like. They do have something I have never seen before which is hot pizzas ready to eat in five minutes - obviously not handmade by some gorgeous Italian chef but decent enough for a snack at lunch time. Aye, old Centra is hard to beat! Didn't give five stars because the queues can be very long sometimes - more staff needed perhaps?

I'm a fan of Mash Direct products and there's a good selection here. There's a lot packed into this centra - an ice cream counter, large selection of chilled & frozen foods, sweet & savoury snacks, drinks and freshly baked items. Despite holding so much stock it's an easier store to navigate than a lot of others. Very good little grocery outlet.

Love that everything on offer is vegan and reasonably priced with a wealth of options to choose from e.g. filled wraps, bagels, salads, stews, soups, cakes and tray bakes. It's also heaven to have a choice of plant-based milks for coffee i.e. oat, almond or soy - such an improvement on offerings found at other Belfast cafes. My food was delicious and coffee flawless. In this, the age of excess hipster cafes, unfortunately it's still difficult to find good coffee, but thankfully 387 offers exceptional coffee. Additionally, this place doubles up as a health food shop with shelves, a freezer and a cooler brimming with goodies. After enjoying my coffee and food I did a mini grocery shop stocking up on vegan cheese, tofurkey slices, sausages, burgers, soups and chilli mayo. A lovely, relaxed spot with friendly, helpful staff and outside seating for sunny days. Decor is natural, focused on muted grey shades, wooden furniture, soft lighting and green plants. Everything about this cafe is synonymous with ease, relaxation and quality. I'm very glad 387 has arrived on the Belfast food scene and hope it flourishes. I will definitely be back.
