My spot for Fresh Seafood and strong drinks!!! Parking is Valet and it's tight. I usually sit around the bar and watch Sports. It's like a Cheers where everyone knows your name!! My go to is Crab Bucket and Steamed Oysters!! Garlic butter is a must please !!! So if you're near the Airport definitely check them out!!

The restaurant is super laid back. The waitress was amazing. Super friendly. The food was amazing.

The restaurant is a really tiny spot. More suitable for take out rather than dining in. The service was not great and the food was ok. I would not visit again. The wings....were the smallest wings Ive ever seen.

A friend said, "Let's go to lunch and get out of the house." Sure, why not. We were originally on our way to Hapeville, but she saw this spot on the way and changed her mind. I have lived here 19 years, and I have never been to Spondivits. The long line of people standing outside always made me go elsewhere. There was no line today. Perfect. We were seated in a booth that had open windows to the outside. The place is very rustic, like a hole in the wall. The sever brought us the menus and took our drink orders. They make some really good brewed iced tea. It was sweet and not watered down. We ordered an appetizer of Fried Calamari and raw Oysters. My friend enjoyed her oysters. The Calamari was deep fried, but it had a light batter. In my opinion, it needed a different batter and some seasoning. Next, we had seafood platters and some crab cakes. The platter was in a small plastic tray. It looked like it wasn't a lot of food, but there was quite a bit there. It consisted of shrimp, oysters, and clams, all fried with French fries. Again, the food lacked seasoning, but it was edible. The crab cakes were super tasty and filled with butter. I was not impressed by the food. I really wanted to like it but in my opinion the prices do not compare to the quality of the dishes. The food is expensive. We spent $170 and that did not include alcohol or dessert. Please think about using some seasoning other than salt. Also, the parking is free valet only and located behind the restaurant at the bottom of the hill.

Parking: Valet only (you keep your keys) Price: 8:50-59.95 in the menu I was given on a Monday. Gratuity: Added to the bil 18 or 20%(I cant remember) and max 3 check splits at the table. The Bar at Spondivits is nice to sit at, its lively, you watch the game but the bar stools are too low. They really need to fix that. The drinks are stronger & good. I had the Chowder Kennebunkport Bowl which is topped with melted cheese & bacon it also comes with Garlic bread. Also, on this day it was $21 95. It was extremely salty and I was unable enjoy or finish eating the soup. I explained this to the waitress and she only replied, ' Ill let them know'. Nothing else was said, nor did I ask for a Manager as I would normally do, I just couldnt be bothered on a Monday. My friend had ordered the 1/2 dozen of Andy's Special Recipe Oysters, which she loved she said it was the closest thing to char-grilled Oysters & the side of sauce which ended up being Horseradished based she loved it as well, it had a little kick. The bucket of crab legs she ordered was 1lb you have to pay for a side of old bay and they provide a garlic butter. Also, my friend wanted to add another 1/ dozen Andy's Special Oysters to make it a a dozen and to also pay the price for a full and the told her that was not an option & if she wanted 6 more she would need to pay the 1/2 dozen price. It sounded ridiculous but they made a thing about corporate doesnt like to see charges being voided etc. The server and the host were all very nice and they kept checking on us. We sat by the back door and a fan was there blowing, which made it a little cool so we asked for it to be turned off. The gentleman stepped on the seat that I was sitting on to turn the fan off and proceed to leave without cleaning the seat. I asked for him to clean the seat & he responded 'oh you want Princess treatment', my friend & I had to laugh. Its the ignorance to think thats Princess treatment when he just stepped his dirty shoes on the chair & didn't think it needed to be cleaned off for me to continue sitting in the seat. ‍ I dont frequent Spondivits, I can tell you one thing it will remain that way. I see different menus online with varying price ranges. I wonder if they have menus for certain days or they give ppl different menus based on if they think they have money to spend. I will still continue not to frequent Spondivits as it is a staple in the Hapeville area but the prices are extremely high. The crab bucket was delicious, the oysters were as well, the Chowder soup was salty AF and some of the rules of not accommodating customers are ridiculous. The place could use a little updating, the bathroom was clean and they are unisex, the drinks at the bar are strong. I definitely would recommend Spondivits but be prepared to spend some money. My review is a hard 3

This place had a really cool vibe and the valets were chill too. My crab legs were really good. Nice size and a good amount of meat. The oysters were a nice size but were a bit on the warm side. I had to stop eating them of fear of getting sick. This could just be preference but I prefer my oysters to be chilled more. Overall, great place and would definitely go back.

Soooo good!!! Someone recommended this place for dinner while we were visiting from VA. The seafood was served fresh and hot! The shrimp were so plump and juicy, the oysters were the perfect size and cooked perfectly, the clams were so good! Not too chewy like some places. Our waitress was very nice and patient. We had a hard time selecting from the extensive menu. It was a cool setting! We set on the "patio" which was inside but had open windows which was perfect! I can't wait to visit when I'm in town again.

Great food , Great service from both hostesses, Bartender Andre and waitress Cindy had an upbeat service with a smile. Management know what they are doing providing great atmosphere with great variety of music. Very cozy place and thank you for making our Valentines layover memorable.

I'm giving this establishment a one star due to the fact that I was assaulted by the restaurant manager. He was not provoked by anyone but, needs to get rid of. He was irrational and incompetent. If this is the type of management this place has to offer, I'm not interested. Not only that they towed my vehicle. Our server Sydney was awesome and she is better than place. I wish her the best. I even have proof of the incident.

Came to this restaurant cause our hotel was next to it. It was a cool little seafood and bar restaurant. We got seating quick and our waitress was nice. I order a margaritas, Cajun shrimp and rice. It was good but expensive and did not know my margaritas would come out to 25 for one drink. Overall, expect to pay high when your here.

No worries, I didn't want to wait for an hour and a half or more bI'll get a to go order. Went around the building and placed my order. Was told the wait would be 35 minutes. Okay. I'll wait in the car. The young lady who took my order said when I get the text confirming my order I could pay through the link and they'd bring it to my car. I paid for my order and included a gratuity. Ten minutes past the appointed time, I walked back in and was told it would be a few more minutes. She went outside to deliver an order and when she returned she checked with the bagger who said they were just waiting for my dessert. Another ten to fifteen and it's finally ready. I ask for bread which was not included and was told they were out of bread! Huh?! Another patron came in and asked the same question and got the same response. She was not happy either. I get home (5 minutes away) to discover that my steak is missing the roasted mushrooms I paid for and was COLD! How the heck. How long was it sitting there waiting for the dessert. So then I try to call and ask for a manager. First time I get disconnected after 10 minutes on hold. Second and third time I was on hold over 20 minutes each time. If the manager is unable to get to the phone at least someone else on the team should be able to pick up and communicate that information. Guess I'll try back in the morning. Steak was cold, baked potato overdone. Only bright spot was the dessert. Update: went to the restaurant today and Mr. Vince made it right. Thanks for helping resolve the situation!

He was stretched too thin & it reflected in our overall experience. However, he tried to make up for it by apologizing genuinely and bringing out complimentary appetizers. However, the mix up in jotting down our food orders along with the kitchen mistakes caused a few hiccups for our meal. It took forever to get everything from water and beverages to salads, appetizers and entrees. The overall experience was over 90 minutes. When we arrived we were seated immediately. It took about ten minutes for a server to come to our table to acknowledge us. The server took drink orders. I had water and my friend had a house margarita. It took 15-20 minutes to receive the drinks. The complimentary bread was placed on our table before we received the drinks and a manager noticed that we did not have them and brought us water prior to my friend's margarita coming out. The server returned around the 25 minute mark to take our food orders. I ordered the strip steak with a sweet potato with butter and no cinnamon sugar and steamed broccoli. My bestie ordered the steakhouse burger with fries. The server appeared to write down our requests. The server brought out a complimentary side salad for each of us about ten minutes after food orders were put in and asked us began to ask us a question about the food order, but then said "nevermind". Because it had been a while already, I offered to repeat both of our orders back to him just in case, but he said it was not needed. He left our table and went to tend to other parties. A few minutes later, I walked over to another table to grab sea salt to use on the greens of the salad because it was taking a while for him to return. Around 30 minutes later he returned with entrees for our table, one of which was my friend's burger & then another that looked to be chopped steak which we did not order. He sat my friend's burger and fries down and walked away with the other plate. About fifteen minutes later, he came back apologizing for the delay with my food and stating that there was a kitchen mix up with it and one of the other servers potentially taking my food to another table, but they'd be making the strip steak fresh at that point. He offered to bring a few appetizers over as a way to help ease the hunger until my meal arrived. He confirmed that I did not have any allergies and came back a few minutes later with spicy chicken bites and stuffed mushrooms for us to share. I thought the gesture was sweet. The food was good. I loved the spicy chicken bites and the sauce that was on it. I would order it again. Once we were done with the apps, my entree arrived missing the broccoli. I told the server and he went to go get me a side of broccoli. It came out quickly. My strip steak and broccoli were well seasoned. I was not as happy with the sweet potato because i requested it with butter only (no brown sugar) and they put it on it anyway. The server offered to have them redo it but the redo never came, so I ate around the sugar part. When the check came, I noticed that the server put an additional chopped steak entree on the receipt along with what we actually ordered, after they ran my card. I brought it to his attention because neither of us ordered that. The manager was able to refund the order and redo it without the incorrect entree included. It made me realize that the mix up was probably him putting in a chopped steak somehow by accident for our table, which caused the mix up with my food. When it was time to go the server brought us to go boxes but forgot the lids, and we had to remind him of that as well. Other than the hiccups and the wait time to get all of the correct food items, the experience was okay and we were happy with the food. I would not recommend coming back when they are busy and especially if you're in a crunch for time. The food was good though and it made great leftovers.

For the most part, people seemed to enjoy it so I was convinced I should check it out. The restaurant is located inside of the Hilton airport Hotel. When I walked in I was greeted by a staff member and seated immediately. Shortly after I was seated my wait staff came over and introduced herself. She took my drink order and said she would allow me time to look over the menu. I asked my wait staff her thoughts on the Mac and cheese. I am picky about eating Mac and cheese from places. Most don't know how to make real Mac & cheese ( if you know what I mean)! She told me it was pretty solid. - As such I ordered the following: Crab bisque Smoked chicken wing plate served with two sides: Mac & cheeses and asparagus were my picks! The crab bisque did take a long time to come out. It was so delayed that my main course came out shortly after the soup. It was not ideal, but I made it work! The crab bisque was solid. I would order it again. The wing plate also exceeded my expectations! I was impressed with the mac and cheese. The asparagus were large, which was concerning to me! Like how did they get so big? Steroids? Nonetheless, they were cooked to perfection! I did get the banana pudding to go- this was the only item I would not order again! It was basic and I only took a few bites and ended up trashing it . Overall I would reconned this spot! Service was spot on- and for a hotel restaurant the food is pretty good!
