Told us which cupboard to find the bedding in so we could make our own bed. Had to walk through and park in a fenced in backyard junk collection with old wheelbarrow, car parts, old bikes etc. To top it all off once we got inside, the smell of mold in that old converted garage made our eyes water and breathing was immediately affected. The hosts seemed like nice people but clearly they weren't about to put out any effort to meet even minimum hosting standards. They did return our money so that one thing was good.

I hope to stay again so I'm calling forward some of the bigger things that made this experience different than others. The general spaces felt dirty. Not how I would ever welcome guests into my own home. A few examples; I went around and put dirty dishes left out by others throughout the night in the sink. The outside bathroom was out of toilet paper with no restock available. Seeing as the bathroom trash had been left overflowing for the 2 days I was there I took it upon myself to bring 2 rolls of toilet paper out there so others didn't have to encounter that same dilemma. I went to bed around 11:30 and left my food that I purchased from the food cart in the fridge. IT WAS STOLEN! I couldn't believe it even after writing my name and a date on it. I've never had that experience before. One thing that I felt was really not aligned with bunk+brew was a conversation I overheard between staff. They said " I don't like gay people". This made me feel really yucky hearing such outright homophobia that I had to excuse myself from that space. I know change isn't possible if the issues are not addressed. Bunk+brew has been a safe place in the past for me while out traveling. I hope others can feel that way.

The bath house was broken too, so lines for shower were awful. The rooms themselves were pretty clean.. my room had a total of 6 beds (bunks). Rooms stayed surprisingly cold during the heat wave so thankful for that! Hostels are supposed to be cheap since you're bunking with randos but it really wasn't cheap.. it was a bit more expensive than a motel.

Everybody who works here is a doll: friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. The setting is perfect for families. I love the decor and aesthetic . It feels a bit like camping, which is what we like. Our teenagers loved the hammocks in the bedrooms, and we all love roasting s'mores at the little fire pits. The first time we stayed here, they had a currywurst truck that would come to the LOGE at night and that was lovely. Unfortunately that's no longer the case, so if you want to stay in for dinner, you have to order food from DoorDash or Uber Ears. For breakfast, they have complimentary coffee and they have breakfast sandwiches, pastries, oatmeal, and cereal that you can purchase . All are excellent. On this trip, we had spotty Wi-Fi service in our room, so we couldn't use the TV to watch movies. They also had one reading light that would not turn off. They had just been hit by lightning the week before, so that might be why these things happened. It won't deter us from coming here again - we love it! But I do think they could stand to revamp the rooms a little bit - our tub needed to be reglazed, as did the sink.

I don't particularly care for waffles but decided to try one and I am sure it is the best waffle that I have had in a very long time. I am staying in the Romance room; it's very comfortable but small. It does have its own bathroom; not all the rooms have private bathrooms so make sure and ask. The Inn is self checkin and very easy. I love the outside space and sitting on the patio. I would definitely come again.

We were happy to have a place to lay our head and now we have our favorite place to stay in the Bend area. The room, mattress and amenities were luxurious and the breakfast to send us on our day was delicious, healthy and represented the owners' and staff's high level of care. The venue was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the banquet staff and service were exceptional. But what truly set the experience apart was Kym. Two members of our family first walked into SCP the day after losing their mom, simply exploring whether it might be the right place for our family gathering. From that very first meeting, Kym met them exactly where they were emotionally, with a level of kindness, compassion, and understanding that went far beyond her role as an event coordinator. From that first meeting through the final moments of our gathering, Kym handled every detail with genuine care. She took something that could have felt overwhelming during an incredibly difficult week and made it easy for our family. We were able to simply be together, remember someone we loved dearly, share stories, laugh, cry, eat some great food, and not worry about anything else. You can provide a beautiful room. You can serve great food. You can deliver excellent service. SCP did all three. But you can't train someone to care the way Kym cared for our family. We will never forget what she and the entire SCP Redmond team did for us. There will always be a special connection to this place because of how we were treated during one of the most difficult weeks our family has experienced. Seems to be staff walking around but they k not sure what they are doing. I haven't been told what's wrong with the room. As I wait someone just walked in and got their key. I travel often and this just isn't acceptable. As I continue to wait I would expect to have been offered an alternative room. One star and I haven't been out of the lobby. Dirt everywhere a guy came buy and apologized for the grass being dead because the sprinkler system was broken when he saw me racking the dirt. By the looks of things it hasn't worked in years, come on now at least you could have some garden hoses with sprinklers. What a pit, the worst ever and I have been in and I have been in horrible place's. Bad attitude they could care less, since they are the only place in town.

The pool was large and there were very few guests to join us but it was loud. A majority of the time spent here on our second day, from about 11AM to 3PM Tlandscapers were working on the area directly adjacent to the pool. Pebbles kept flying up and hitting the metal fencing near me. The only thing that makes this a 4 out of 5 is the overall set up. At almost all resorts I've ever been to there is an outside bar, not here however. We'd love to come back and I'd like to get a round of golf in!

There were guests that were rudely blasting their music by the main pool. That pool also seemed to be full of insects and random dust and plants that had been swept by the wind from the nearby fields. The doors to the main entrance closed shut on my suitcase as I was leaving. It seemed that someone had pressed the button to open them both, and after a while they close automatically. The fact that there are no sensors to detect if someone is still standing between them, is negligent.

It's not a hotel but a MOTEL, as the doors to the rooms face the outside. The big "campfire" centerpiece of the hotel is a fire pit in the parking lot. They seem to spend more money on decoration than the infrustructure, trying to appeal to a hipster crowd. I felt bad for the front desk staff trying to check in a long line of guests because the computer system was very slow and we all waited a long time. I am writing this review on my phone while waiting for my computer to load because the internet keeps going in and out, and when it is working, it is VERY slow. Also, the bathroom area is outdated. My sink is cracked, the toilet seat is peeling, and the shower is dripping all night. The cleaning is suspect, as I found old contacts on the bedside lamp. The furniture choices are uncomfortable: a fuzzy stool for the desk and metal chairs for the table. The desk and fridge are full of snacks and beer for purchase (not my thing but maybe others appreciate?). The outlets by the bed and desk are used up by the lamps. No extra towels in room. I haven't tried the pool area yet.

I did go to my car and there were 4 younger guys still hanging outside drinking and smoking at 11:30pm at night but my unit has a great fan and I didn't hear them. Another con which sucked was their shades aren't black out curtains. They need to upgrade those. I couldn't even bring them to fully cover my window. Also the wall paper has some cowboys staining me to bed all night and watching the bedroom magic happenings.... Or lack there of
