I did not enjoy my experience here. The booking experience was fine, but then I got there and they all looked at me like they had never seen a cat before. I had to explain myself again about what I wanted done and then they proceeded to talk amongst themselves about a bunch of other things they had to do, while I stood there holding my cat. Then they shaved his belly and brushed him which took about 12 minutes and they charged me $78. I believe that was completely unprofessional and overpriced for the service they did. I will not be going back there again. read more

I'm new in town and in need of a groomer for my cat. This place showed up with some pretty good reviews when I searched yelp. Our appointment was originally set for 10am but the groomer needed to move it to 11. They said it would only take an hour to groom my cat, so I agreed. I needed to be on base by 1, so 11 would be cutting it close but it was doable. I showed up at 11 but the groomer did not. Person at the front desk said the groomer should be there by 11:30 and that it would take about 2.5 hours to take care of my cat. This was a very different time estimate from the original 1 hour I was quoted on the phone. I asked if we switched to just washing and brushing my cat if that would cut the time down but they only said maybe. I decided it wouldn't be worth it to wait around for this groomer to show up. A little bit of lateness is annoying but manageable, but two wildly different time estimates is not something I can navigate. Plus, I didn't want to risk the groomer trying to rush and potentially hurting or traumatizing my cat. Ultimately, I drove my cat 40 minutes there and 40 back just to wash her myself at home. Update: Groomer is using all caps and "big mad" vibes to try and berate me in the comments section of my review. They are mad that I didn't wait for them to show up late to our appointment. Groomer told me 11am, which was an hour later than our initial agreed-upon time. So I showed up at 11, on time, but the groomer did not. The front desk could not give me a clear time as to when the groomer would arrive and I had other things to take care of that day. So, yes, I left. This groomer is mad I left a poor review relating the details of my experience with their business. This groomer seems to show a pattern of berating customers in the comments section of their reviews -- check the other 1-stars, it's not just mine! Avoid this angry person. After their angry response (see picture attached) I'm super glad I didn't leave my cat alone with this person. read more

This is now my 3rd visit to Spokane Paw Prints to have my cat, Lindy shaved. Jose does such a great job and he is very knowledgeable, friendly and works really well with Lindy. His assistant , Joseph, is very friendly & welcoming, and he & Jose work really well together. They are able to get Lindy done pretty quickly, and Lindy doesn't have any problems going through the shaving process. I love that they have "Whisker Wednesdays" and just do cats. Making it less stressful for Lindy. Also, the day before Lindy's appointment I had something important come up during the time of her appointment. So, I contacted Jose to see if he had any other available times, but he did not. I assumed that I would need to wait until the following Wednesday, which I was bummed about, not because of him, but because of that scheduling conflict that arose. He was so wonderful and actually came into work an hour before he opened so that he could still fit Lindy in that day. How awesome is that?!?! Needless to say, that was amazing and I am super appreciative. I highly recommend Spokane Paw Prints read more

THEY CUT MY DOG IN HER RECTUM. I was very upset. Jose C. told me cutting pets is unavoidable, pointing to some literature I should have been aware of. He said they don't do it on purpose. Not good enough. Be more careful is the answer. He then accused me of being unprofessional for complaining. I pulled out my camera to record his verbal abuse. He told me not to come back, however he did say he would take care of the medical bill which I doubt. In hindsight he had a great stylist that worked for him. Each time I tried to make an appointment with her they booked the appointment knowing she wasn't even working there. This happened a few times until I found out they were lying to me and not telling me she didn't work there and hadn't in a long time. QUANITY NOT QUALITY IS THEIR MOTTO. CHECK YOUR DOG OVER FOR SKIN AND ORGAN CUTS or at least ask them not to cut you pet while in a hurry.. read more

I took my mini Aussie to be groomed in June 2021 and my husband and I were there together dropping her off. We discussed what we wanted which was stomach, feathers on the legs and haunches with what the groomer called a 3/4 because she is a farm dog and stickers cling to her fur from the tummy down. Additionally we asked for sensitive shampoo and no perfume. The groomer was great and we were very happy with the outcome. We were told all the notes would be on file for future service. The grooming was less than 2 hours. I scheduled a second appointment right away for today 8/17/21. My husband dropped off at 11 and didn't see the groomer present but someone he didn't remember said that she remembered her. He said same as last time. By 2pm he hadn't heard but was done with errands (we live out in the country so long drive) so he stopped in. He didn't see our dog anywhere and they said she wasn't done. He advised he was waiting in the parking lot. About 45 minutes later they texted she was ready so he went inside and they were still grooming her. They had actually cut all of her hair! Her back, her beautiful ears, neck... everywhere had been cut short and not even just lumps of hair. Anyone that knows dogs should know that is not how you groom an Aussie! They should have flowing hair around the ears neck back. And she smelled like a perfume factory and needs a bath because she has allergies and her eyes are so bloodshot from the strong smell and stress of being there for so long. Then they had the nerve to say sorry but it will grow back in a couple weeks. Totally wrong by the way. And then said my husband said to shave her which was a total lie. I have never been so unhappy with any pet groomers in my life and I'm in my 60s. Don't trust these groomers if you care about how your dog looks! read more

I took my sweet cat there and let me say this it was a nightmare! First if you're not familiar with where the place is located take the time to drive by and find it and parking. I had a hard time finding parking. Next my poor cat was scared seeing this was her first time getting groomed which is understandable she didn't want to come out her carrier to which the groomer tilted the carrier and shook it to get her out. Once that did not work he took a vacuum used for drying placed it to the back of the carrier turning it on and scaring her right out it. Needless to say we had to chase her and catch her. After the time of the actual bath happing my poor cat was tramatized. He was more concerned on getting us in and out then the well being of the animal so if you love your animal and see it as family do not bring it to this place waist of 50 bucks never again read more

Whoever is posting the negative reviews must have been having a bad day... I've seen nothing but next level professionalism and expertise. I made an appointment for my cat and was unsure at the time whether or not a lion shave was needed. The staff on the phone were courteous and understanding and in no way did I feel pressured or that I was an inconvenience with my indecision. She answered all of my ignorant questions with grace and made my appointment. I was running late to my appointment due to traffic and when I called to let them know, Jose was kind and assured me that it was no problem. When I arrived, I found the place to be cozy and clean from what I could tell. After a quick look with Jose, I was the one that insisted a lion shave was necessary and they set to work. The whole experience was stress free and it was evident that Jose and his team have a real passion for cats and their well being, they are truly a credit to their profession! read more

So I will preface this review by saying that the first time I took my Giant Schnauzer to Spokane Paw Prints, they did an amazing job and my dog looked great. Unfortunately the haircut my dog got today isn't anywhere close to his first haircut. His snout is shaved bald and the rest of the hair is very choppy. I was told he was difficult to groom, however this is the first time there has ever been an issue (and my dog has been groomed many times before without issue). I am very disappointed and unfortunately I don't think I'll be back. At least his hair will grow back. read more

All I can say is WOW ! Jose and Natalie were not only professional, but so friendly and did such a GREAT job on our Newfoundland Peneloppe Clayre ! She looks like a million dollars ! My poor goldendoodle got butchered. His entire face was shaved all the way down. He was not matted. We took him in for a very short trim and cleaning as we like to keep him shaggy for the winter and they gave him a summer cut. I'm so so upset!!!! Never going back!! read more
