Since I had not had a hearing update exam in some time, she led me through an assessment of my hearing. Following that she updated my hearing aids which was a minor change but nonetheless made the hearing somewhat better. I had a couple of questions about performance of my aids which she was able to explain away sufficiently. I plan to continue seeing her on a regular basis and will no doubt get new aids next year as the time runs out on these. She is a very caring and professional audiologist. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs hearing improvement. And she still rides a mean moto-cross bike. And she has the awards to prove it.

I had questions about the referral and about the procedure this guy wanted to do and he totally flipped out and told me he felt like I didn't wanna be there and ya know what, he's right, I wanted to see a specialist due to my concerns and 3 previous surgeries done at Harborview, and didn't want him sticking a camera down my nose without first seeing and knowing how much metal is in my nose and face. He made me feel like I was beneath him but refused to provide me with a copy of the recording I consented to at the beginning of the visit. I did not go there for a procedure I was there for the first time to see a specialist. Bottom line, I'm extremely disappointed in Spokane Ear Nose and Throat and would Never visit them in the future. I'll just keep driving to Seattle and see my very caring knowledgeable Dr. A.J. Amadi even if my insurance doesn't cover it. I'd rather be taken care of than be treated like I'm a burden or have my questions & concerns answered with knowledgeable answers and care, rather than either not answer or make excuses or degrade me for even asking. I hope all your doctors aren't like this ARNP that's all I can say. Update: I was suppose to talk with the manager Kay Perry but I decided not to drive the 40 mile round trip in to possibly not be seen so I left a voicemail for her and for Patrick her boss but they of course did Not return my calls so I'll update if I hear from them however; I believe they won't contact me as this seems like a very dysfunctional medical facility. Additionally, they came with a devise that hooks to the TV, so the TV sends surround sound to my hearing aids. Amazing clarity. Also, Works with my iPhone so all my calls are in stereo. I believe she pushed in wax guard and audiologist had to try and salvage to work on it to try and retrieve it. He could not and mentioned fittings around guard get worn and it will need to be sent in. This is a hearing aid only worn part time not during summer and is only about six years old. I've had many cleanings at other locations. Cost went from $25 to $360. I am hoping someone else will be able to help as I will not go through them. Very disappointed in the service. Audiologist seemed sincere, however this is very troubling.

My regular PCP moved to the ER and I was assigned a new PCP through Multicare. However, when I needed to be seen for a physical, I was told that I would have to wait 6 weeks for the first appointment just to meet my newly assigned PCP to establish care... and of course, a copay was expected for that visit. Dr Rietze accepts text messages and phone calls and responds within a day, offering a visit within the next few days, if necessary, but never more than a couple weeks out if non-urgent. She takes her time with me and truly cares about my health... and I'm saving so much money, even on top of insurance premiums! I highly recommend Lilac DPC - this alternative has restored my faith in healthcare.
