I believe she pushed in wax guard and audiologist had to try and salvage to work on it to try and retrieve it. He could not and mentioned fittings around guard get worn and it will need to be sent in. This is a hearing aid only worn part time not during summer and is only about six years old. I've had many cleanings at other locations. Cost went from $25 to $360. I am hoping someone else will be able to help as I will not go through them. Very disappointed in the service. Audiologist seemed sincere, however this is very troubling.

Since I had not had a hearing update exam in some time, she led me through an assessment of my hearing. Following that she updated my hearing aids which was a minor change but nonetheless made the hearing somewhat better. I had a couple of questions about performance of my aids which she was able to explain away sufficiently. I plan to continue seeing her on a regular basis and will no doubt get new aids next year as the time runs out on these. She is a very caring and professional audiologist. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs hearing improvement. And she still rides a mean moto-cross bike. And she has the awards to prove it.

He…read moretold me they could not be repaired and I was given another pair...problem is my hearing aids were from 2017 and Resound hearing aids, I was given a pair of hearing aids from 2013, they could not be adjusted BECAUSE they are possibly from Costco....they are not Resound hearing aids as represented. When I said I could not hear with them I was told I did not know what I was talking about. So now I have useless hearing aids that I cannot hear well with and they are basically useless. I spent several hours on the phone with the Resound company and this is where I received the information that my hearing aids are not as represented and basically my hearing aids were stolen.

My word comprehension has returned to normal, or even better. I can now hear things my wife can't. It's a bit like bionic hearing.
