Buffalo wings
Karla M.

I've come here twice now when I'm in the patriots place area. If you're just hanging out with friends, or want to kill time before or after a game at Gillette stadium, this is the place to go. There was a pretty good live DJ, the place is super clean and plenty of space, the staff is great (a special shout-out to Monica who was super welcoming), and the food is also good. The prices are fair. We ordered the Buffalo wings and they were good! They were drenched in sauce, it was more like they spread it on before cooking and the chicken soaked it in. They were juicy and only a tiny tiny tiny bit spicy. There's a few things to do at this venue including bowling, which we did and top golf (+ other games). The fun is endless. If you go with a big enough group to top golf I think it's worth it, but with a small group it does come out to be expensive since it's per hour ($100 I think) and not per person.

Darts!

I had an amazing time playing darts at Splitzville, thanks to Monica and Skye Michelle's exceptional service! They were both attentive, friendly, and made our experience truly enjoyable. Five stars all the way!

We went here before a pats game and it was actually great! the turkey club being on texas toast made it amazing and the nachos were great as well. i wish the margaritas had more alcohol in them at $13 a piece but they were still good.

THE BEST PART? They didn't rush us on Game Day. We went here for a bite to eat before the Patriots game yesterday. It's conveniently located right near the stadium, and it is large enough to hold the crowds who want to eat before the game. We were seated by the second, smaller bar near the bowling lanes. There were plenty of televisions mounted all around the dining area so we could watch the pre-game action. Our waitress asked if we wanted to hang out for a while or eat right away. I thought that was awesome to ask us, and we jumped on the opportunity to hang out without feeling like we were wasting her time. We ordered drinks - a martini and a beer - along with an order of nachos. My martini was delicious, some coconut/pineapple concoction, and my husband's beer was Magic Hat from a bottle. The nachos were fine. They had a cheese sauce on them instead of real cheese, but they were tasty. The place started to fill up with more fans, and the restaurant got a nice vibe going. We had bowling lanes to the left and right of us, and they were well used. I decided to check-in on Yelp, and an offer for a free appetizer popped up. I showed it to the waitress and she said, "Great! I'll take the nachos off the bill." How great to have a reaction like that! As time went by, we decided to order lunch. My husband got the cheeseburger with fries. He said it was good, and he liked the special sauce they put on it. I ordered the parmesan chicken fingers. They were good, though very salty. It was a generous portion, but the salt was a little too much after a few pieces. The ranch dipping sauce was your run-of-the-mill jarred ranch dressing. Overall, this was a good spot to spend some time before a game. The atmosphere, waitstaff, and drinks are good, but the food is just ok.

Apparently they don't like to bus tables here.

The food is gross! I never write reviews, but felt compelled to let the world know that McDonald's has better quality food and service!

On Yelp, it says it is open until 2am, but on their website is says until close. I got there at 11:30pm one night to have the doors closed. What time is close and where is this posted?

On Friday and Saturday it's open until 1 am every other day all depends on how busy it is usually closes around 11

We made a reservation on their website and got seated promptly. We noticed how cozy and clean the restaurant was. Very inviting. They have steps to the main entrance door and a ramp for those with a mobility accessible device. Our server was very bubbly and friendly. We got a salad and a Lo Mein dish. Both were delicious and excellent. My salad could had been larger, but it was not bad. The Lo Mein had the right amount of seasonings and not too salty. Very good. Located right off the main square, it's a great choice for a meal. They have about 20 parking spaces in their private lot including one handicap space.

Stroll down to Union Straw!…read more I've updated my review from a 4-star to a 3-star since our last dining experience was not that great. I will preface that the restaurant was extremely crowded and maybe short staffed. Our dishes took forever since a lot of the other guests (us included) were attending a comedy show close by. Our sever did apologize and mentioned the kitchen was backed up. And, the General Manager also apologized after the fact which I appreciated as well. Food: I ordered their Harvest Salad with Steak on it and it was awful. Steak had no flavor and also came with very little dressing. My husband ordered their Buffalo boneless chicken and said they were lacking sauce. Service: Lacked due to the overcrowded of the restaurant. We sat awhile before being greeted and our drinks took forever. Ambiance: the restaurant has a warmth and nice decor making you feel very comfortable here. Bar seats are very comfy. Overall: 3.5/5 we have been here before and always had a nice time. I think since it was very busy they could not handle the timing of the food and deliver excellent service. I will be giving them another shot for sure. Cheers ~

I had the North End pizza with meatballs, herb infused ricotta and basil. Cooked perfectly and very delicious. Others ordered jumbo wings, fish and chips, grilled chicken sandwich and 3 had a salad bowl one with lamb, she said the lamb was one of the best she ever had, another had it with grilled chicken and the third was a Tex-Mex salad bowl Prices are a little high but worth it. Outstanding New England food and hospitality…read more The steak tips were the best I've ever had -- perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and tender. The crinkle-cut fries were fried to crispy perfection. The quahog and chowder get a true New England stamp of approval (I grew up here and now live in the Philly area, so I know what I'm talking about). The fish and chips portions were enormous, golden, crispy, and delicious. Even though the inside was packed, the staff cranked up the heaters and gave us the patio all to ourselves, which was a great touch and showed how much they care about their guests. The place has a classic New England feel, bringing back memories of growing up camping at Normandy Farms down the road. The owners were welcoming and genuinely hospitable, which really set this place apart. Fantastic food, nostalgic vibes, and top-notch hospitality. On to see the Tom Brady statue -- Go Pats!

Our waiter seemed to be trying his best, but was clearly a bit underwhelmed. They brought out the wrong dish for one of our party, then brought out a very overcooked version of the right order. While the staff was totally apologetic, comped the meal and through in a free dessert, it was underwhelming. Mixed feelings on the food overall. They ran out of the drink I ordered, had run out of tiny second choice, and the waiter didn't think to suggest an alternative. And unfortunately the service was very slow. Unfortunately, we hadn't made a reservation in advance, so I can't blame the restaurant for the fact that we ended up seated at the bar which had considerably less ambiance and perhaps staff who weren't as familiar with the menu. If you're someone with food allergies or special food needs, you'll need to use extra caution here. I ordered the vegan pasta and specified several times that I was ordering the vegan pasta main dish because it was vegan and I have a dairy allergy. The woman behind the bar asked if I wanted the mushroom pasta, and I specified again that it had to be the vegan pasta at least twice. She put in the order for the mushroom pasta starter, which contains dairy, instead of the vegan pasta entree. Because of her uncertainty, I double-checked with another bartender, who confirmed that it was in fact a dairy dish. That bartender was able to place the correct order for me. I would consider coming back here on a date night for the ambiance, but I would be very careful about checking and double checking for food allergies.
