I came in and we agreed on colors for the appointment. God Bless Lori, she changed my hair from 4 inches of a grey crown with blonde to a glorious hip color. Then she said that she has to charge me an extra $20.00 because I had long hair. I said yes, but I only wanted my crown area done. She didn't budge. Then I had to sign a waiver or she wouldn't do my hair. Waiver said that I couldn't hold her or REGIS CO. liable if I was unhappy with my services. After she was done doing my color she asked if I wanted my hair blow dried? I asked if there's a charge and she said yes, $10.00. I said the only way you can see the true color was if the hair was dry, so I had to get the hair blow dried. Soooooo, $100.00 later you can barely see a difference in my hair color. I found this uncomfortable and very unprofessional on their part. When the employee they spoke of returned, they all bickered about the take out she had or had not brought back. When I mentioned it to my stylist as I left she commented that "well, she is the manager and it's all in good fun." Airing dirty laundry in front of customers is not "good fun" for us. I appreciated the fact that before she washed my hair, she assessed the condition of my hair and scalp and chose the most suitable shampoo treatment for my hair type and scalp condition.
