I am extremely picky about my hair and was terrified to find a new stylist when I moved to Decatur. I even considered driving 3+ hours to see my sister's stylist over in Indiana! However, on the recommendation of a coworker, I booked an appointment with Lindsey. To be honest, I wasn't wild about my first haircut. I asked for a trim (remember, I was nervous), but I ended up not being thrilled with the trim given that my previous cut had been so grown out. I felt like this was my fault though, since I had gotten what I'd asked for. I did like Lindsey a lot though, and I wanted to go back and give her another try. On my second visit, I took a photo with me and asked her to create! She did a FANTASTIC job and I was sold on her being my stylist from now on. The cut looked fabulous, and the next day I even had a student gasp when she saw me. The cut was easy to style both straight and curly. Lindsey does great hair and I would highly recommend that you let her create a cut for you based on what you like! I've been back a 3rd time (again, great cut) and will return in a few weeks - can't wait! Lindsey is a skilled stylist and will create a great cut for you. I look forward to my appointments to go in and see Maggie. You are treated like royalty when you walk in the door until you walk out. Maggie always has a smile on her face and seems genuinely happy to see what is on the "agenda" for the day. Not once has she ever let me down. From color to cut, her professionalism is extraordinary. I am one who will let her do whatever she wants with my hair, but she still takes the time to explain what she is going to do. Maggie Potempa is wonderful. I recently moved to the area from Kansas City, MO and was very anxious about finding a new hairstylist. I had a fantastic experience at the salon tonight. I went in hoping just for a cut, but Maggie P. gave the celebrity treatment! She fixed my hair color and gave me a great fresh new cut. We looked at hair cuts in the length we were changing it to and she brighten up my faded DIY hair dye I did months ago. Definitely coming back again, well worth the money spent.
