On the phone i was told we would get gas cans and we did not get any, " claims no one gets gas cans". The jet skis were scuffed up and one of them didn't work to their full potential compared to the other one we had. I wouldn't have minded the jet skis at all but the customer service was not there. I have never felt so disrespected by someone for no reason when trying to just make a transaction and ask questions so we don't mess up the skis. Will not be renting from this place again. We were left stranded in the middle of the water, sitting in the heat waiting to be towed back. Instead of taking responsibility, the company immediately tried to shift the blame. They told us they needed a mechanic to determine if it was "user error," and now, days later, they're saying they likely won't refund us. That's completely unreasonable. We paid for a working boat and got a breakdown within an hour there's no justification for that. The worst part is how they handled it. No accountability, no urgency, and no concern for the fact that we lost our entire rental time due to their equipment failing. I would strongly advise against booking here. If their boat fails which clearly can happen you'll be stuck out on the lake, wasting your time in the sun, and then potentially blamed for it with no refund.

I was pleased that the owner had already done a very thorough inspection of both units and had noted even more flaws/issues than I did. Paperwork was easy - 3 sheets with a few signatures and initials. Pretty typical liability waivers, a brief overview on how not to get yourself killed, etc, etc. Just a heads up though, the credit card hold is $1000 - it wasn't unreasonable but might be a bit of a burden for some people. Rental rates were basically the same as the competitors - slightly higher since we went on a weekend (as I recall, a some other places didn't charge extra for that). But I preferred to pay a little more and go with a place that didn't seem super sketchy - the Yelp reviews and BBB rating put my mind at ease, and the owner was always quick to answer calls. Altogether had a blast at Lake Pleasant! Will rent here again next time I'm in the area and need some high speed entertainment.
