We recently floated the Salt River with Gary at Canyon Paddle Co. Gary recommended where to put in and he met us there with all the equipment. Everything was ready to go when we showed up. He gave us all a board, paddle, and life jacket and all the equipment was new and in awesome shape. The whole experience was fun from beginning to end! Gary had all of us laughing when giving us instructions and he made sure everyone felt comfortable. We took about 20 teenagers from our church youth group. With such a large group of first-time paddle boarders, we couldn't have asked for a better instructor! I could tell Gary knows the river very well, which made a big difference. Just had my first paddle board adventure down the Salt River with Canyon Paddle Co. I'm a big guy, with bad knees and no experience on a board. So my doubts about paddle boarding were real. Moonlight float! We saw a post on Facebook about a moonlight float with Canyon Paddle Co and signed up. We had a great group together with Gary keeping us aware of upcoming things to navigate on the river with the night sky.
