Not the greatest experience. It's been a while and I'm still annoyed, so here's the story…read more I needed a carbon fiber scba tank filled so visited the shop with high hopes. Dude looked at the tank and asked if it had a visual inspection. Nope. Not required. Just hydro every 5 years. Last test in May 2024. Dude agreed DOT doesn't require visual, but he does. Annoying, but I agreed to leave the tank overnight for his $20 visual. I mentioned it was a high pressure cylinder. Dude said yeah, looks like 4500 psi. He didn't indicate that would be a problem. No call after 2 days so went to pick up the tank. The young lady helping me wasn't rude, just markedly unfriendly. She looked at the tag and said, "OK. Just the hydro, then." "You mean the visual?" "Same test. We just call it that." It's not the same, but whatever. She looked at the tag again and said it didn't need the visual after all. Yeah, that's what I told dude. Did you want it filled? Yeah, that was the point. The tank has a gauge to show remaining psi. It was at 3600, pretty close to the pressure it was when I brought it in. Stern young woman explained it depends on their bank pressure, which I understand, but would have been nice to know when I dropped it off...or I wouldn't have left it to be filled. That'll be $54. That's ridiculous. The hydro test was $40. No. The tank has current hydro. Dude wouldn't fill the tank without doing an unnecessary visual. Oh, ok. $14. For a short fill? It depends on our bank pressure...

Time for teen 2 to get certified. She took the pool certification and next month will be doing…read moreopen water diving certification with them at the homestead crater. They are accomodating and easy to work with. Both of my kids have enjoyed the classes and instructors immensely. The store is clean, though does have limited parking in the lot. However thr is plenty of street parking. My kids have thoroughly enjoyed working with this company.

They were easy and pleasant to work with to get the classes set up. We had our first class today. I attended the class today as well. Our teacher was professional and personable. We did 30 minutes in class room. and then 90 minutes in the pool. I personally deal with some sensory issues and i was able to work through them and was personally very happy with my experience. The girls that were able to go today also all really enjoyed themselves! What a great experience! I can't wait for my other girls to be able to try it. Julie was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to make us all feel comfortable with the variety of skills we needed to know to safely dive for the first time. I felt very prepared from the pool sessions she led to be able to do my open water certification and sessions out in Hawaii. I wasn't able to finish out my certification through Ocean First due to time constraints, but the Dive Instructor out in Hawaii was incredibly impressed with my proficiency underwater, stating that if I hadn't been signed up for the course, they would have assumed I was a much more experienced diver. I lend much of that to the great instruction I had here in the pool. I cannot recommend the course enough and certainly suggest everyone who wants to learn to dive to stop by.

It was less expensive but he spent maybe 10 of the 30 minutes just sitting there with little instruction. A was aggravating to watch. For my daughter, we went with Little Kickers which was more expensive but much more effective and therefore valuable. We've had a variety of instructors over the year's including the famous Annie. We're currently with Becka who totally vibes with our daughter and is the kind of person just meant to teach swim lessons to little kids. Our daughter is now 5 and is completely water safe and working toward mastering her four strokes. Effective!

I've done swim lessons at various places in Loveland and the quality of the instruction at LSC surpassed everywhere else. My oldest child decided swimming wasn't their passion but he wanted to swim at the high school level. I pulled him and put him at a swim school in Windsor for awhile but was thankful we were allowed to come back and try the rec team again because the quality is unsurpassed and he feels good progressing again. If you go to the Loveland Swim Club Instagram and see the amount of kids receiving college scholarships it's actually phenomenal. It is equally impressive that there is a place for every swimmer in this program. If you like professionalism, excellence, or your kids just getting their wiggles out instead of sitting in front of screens, this is a great place to be. Loveland Swim Club's program makes the City of Loveland look good. You don't need to go to Fort Collins to find superior swim instruction.

Many of the negative review are from many years ago and are false. I have been a member well…read morebefore Covid. The staff are universally friendly and helpful, Chuck and Jody especially. The place is pretty clean, the hot tub is always clean without the smell of chemicals. I would recommend fixing the massage chairs, adjusting the tension on rowing machines and occasionally cleaning out the lockers themselves. It's a smaller club and we travel from Ft Collins because we liked the feel of the club and it isn't usually terribly crowded.

I would have loved to give a 5 star review but honestly had to hold back. I felt like when our teacher was out due to vacation, illness, etc we were very well accommodated but felt the lesson was sometimes a lost lesson because the sub wasn't always on the same page as our son. Yes be still was able to swim for the day or week as scheduled so his skills were touched on but each teacher had a different way with their own lessons and sometimes we felt this would have been easier to make up our lesson with our regular teacher who knew the skill set and advancement or challenges of our child. BEWARE OF PREDATORY AND DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES: I signed up for a class at their advertised…read morerate of $36 a class. What was not advertised is that upon signing up, you are locked into paying at least an entire month of their services plus their membership fee. That's $184! No where on their website, or upon checkout is that amount advertised or stated. When I sign up for subscription services, or a gym membership for example, the fees are laid out very clearly. What are you supposed to do if you have a bad experience, injure yourself, or, in my case, simply cannot afford that amount for classes. They also require you give a 30-day notice of cancellation, so unless you sign up AND cancel on the same day...you're going to be taken for a ride. I was charged $250 for the one class I attended. I will add that I have never experienced such a lack of empathy and understanding from both the owner Chris and their Corporate Office. I have been told that my situation is not valid because "I'm not getting the answer I'm looking for." Well, they're partially right. I'm at least looking to be humanized, heard out, and maybe even understood at some basic level. Instead of giving me call to listen to what I had to say, I was only sent an email that reads as though they have the right to take my money and give me nothing in return because I signed a policy authorizing charges to my card, but it does not specify how much they can charge. I would recommend going anywhere else for swim lessons. You'll have a better customer service experience and it'll be cheaper.

Great membership pool! This is our second summer swimming here and the kids love it. It's a good…read moresize pool with a diving board and slide. Although the slide is a bit dinky, the kids still enjoy it. They especially like the basketball hoop. The lifeguards (this summer anyway) are all really nice and professional. My only complaint is the increase in membership pricing this year. Otherwise a great place to spend the summer.
