Finding reliable, skilled contractors has always been a challenge. I needed my driveway redone, a skim coat applied to a retaining wall and stairs, and a new concrete parking strip. I got bids from four different companies. Alpha was the last one, and honestly, I expected them to be the most expensive based on the reviews and the professionalism of Alberto Jr.--and I mean that as a compliment. He was incredibly professional, sharp, and had just graduated from the Foster School of Business. This guy is going places. When their bid came back, they weren't the cheapest--but only a few hundred dollars off. I knew right away I wanted to go with them. They started the project within a week and even finished ahead of schedule. They delivered on every promise, showed up exactly when they said they would, and the crew was made up of true professionals. A really cool touch: Alberto's dad, Alberto Sr., is the owner and was on site every single day, working hands-on with the team. The work is absolutely gorgeous and far exceeded my expectations. I had trouble getting responses from a number of other contractors on whether they could do a monolith slab for my backyard office/studio project. Ricardo was familiar with the work needed (vapor barrier under 2" insulation, and deep footers to support extra weight, and 1/2 rebar 24" OC). I opted for saw cut contraction joints which turned out pretty good, only a few small chips that'll get filled in with caulk anyway. The slab is 10x15', 10" deep footers with 5" depth in center for $4500. I got a similar quote from others but Ricardo seemed more familiar with mono slabs process. His team was very fast to complete the excavation/framing and was very communicative on measurements and location of things. It took a few days to pour the concrete due to availability of the concrete supplier and weather but it worked out well and the finish was very good, exactly what I was looking for (smooth finish). Highly recommend Ricardo and his team. Will be doing business again.

We love the new bulkhead wall, so much safer & looks fantastic. His team was very tidy with the final clean up of the working area.
