Incredibly Hard workers!!!! We found Josh's ad on Craigslist after getting some quotes from other landscapers within the area. A little skeptical due to the nature of Craigslist, we were blown away by the hard work of Josh and his team of 3 others. He is an incredibly personable person and you can tell he is motivated to do the best possible job he and his team can. We had an extremely large tree/brush removal project that overlooks a pond in our backyard, Josh came over at 8am with a team of ready-to-work guys. After analyzing the property and providing us with a prompt quote, we asked him if he could start immediately. He said "sure thing" and went outside and started working! They were in the yard from 8am until 9:30pm at night. After they left our house, they made sure to clean up the yard as best as they could, and after such a large project, they did a fantastic job not only cleaning up what we asked, but making sure the yard was cleaned up too. I am a firm believer in giving start-up companies a chance and we are super glad we found Josh. If we have any other landscaping services that we need done at the house, Josh will be our first call. I found Josh Blaine's ad on craigslist and called him about doing a spring cleanup for my yard in Clifton. He responded right away and after trading a few messages he arrived at the property within a couple of hours. He had a wonderful energy and enthusiasm as he walked the property with me and I described what I wanted to have done. I was so surprised when, after we agreed on a price for the job, he assembled his crew here within 20 minutes! They got to work right away clearing the property of mountains of leaves, dead branches, sticks etc. I liked Josh so much I asked him to spruce up a small bed near our pool. Within the hour he was at the nursery texting me pictures of plants with suggestions. Then he brought all the plants back and the crew arranged them, planted and mulched. It was a pleasure to have Josh and his crew working in the yard... They all had very positive, high energy. Josh and his crew were spectacular. In one afternoon, my front and back yard went from looking like an abandoned house to HGTV -worthy! They were really attentive and thorough. I would highly recommend them. Josh was very responsive by text. Pricing was reasonable. They came out, gave an estimate, and got right to work. They cleared out tons of weeds and leaves, got rid of straggly plants, including large thorny roses (a weed is any plant growing where you don't want it). They carefully weeded a bed of herbs, where the weeds looked like the herbs, by leaving the plants that smelled good. They divided and relocated happy plants to thrive. They planted boxes of bulbs I had ordered online in beautiful arcs and covered them with protective mulch -- which will be spectacular in the spring. (but it also looks pretty amazing now). So clean and pretty. I can't wait to have them come back in the spring to see the fruits (well, flowers) of their labors, and to do more excellent work. read more

Unbelievable work and customer service! Can't recommend this company enough. They took my overgrown backyard and front yard and made it look pristine in a short amount of time. Very professional, detail oriented. I hired them for a yard clean up and hedge trimming, they removed weeds and other bad things that I didn't even know were there! They covered everything in mulch and sculpted shrubbery - above and beyond what I was expecting. I reached out to several places for estimates, first place went into my backyard before letting me know they were here and didn't discuss options or what I wanted just sent me an online estimate, second didn't get back to me. I'd recommend Blaine's to anyone. They did amazing work. I was in a bind with a disaster of a yard front and back and a had been let down at the last minute by a guy who was to do the clean up. I texted Blaines close to midnight and he responded and was at my house first thing next morning. He knew I had time constraints with visitors arriving soon but didn't use that to his advantage and worked with me to get the job done within my budget. I really respect him for that, knowing how that's scenario might have played out. My garden has transformed in a day and I wish I had before and after pictures. Amazing work by josh and his team. After trying to get a quote from a larger established company, I called Josh and he came out immediately. Josh's estimate was reasonable and well worth the price. I had a literal forest of weeds (3' ft tall) which I had been calling the other company to take care of for a month. He got to work with his crew immediately and was very professional. First time having a landscaping team remove leaves from our property and Josh knocked it out of the ball park. The backyard was to the point we couldn't see the grass and our dogs were losing balls under the leaves, along with the delayed drying that resulted in tracking mud and wet dirt into the house, it was a disaster. Josh Blaine and his crew just finished up a massive clean up of our yard in Vienna. I found his ad/listing on Craigslist and called him. He came out that afternoon, gave us a fair quote, and started work immediately. We had multiple trees that had fallen, countless branches on the ground, and a bunch of bushes and ivy that needed clearing. In reading the other reviews, it seems that Josh has a great track record of cleaning up jungle-like yards. He can add our to the list of successful clean ups. Blaine's Landscaping did a fantastic job, we had them remove a tree in our front yard and remove a lot of excess tree rounds from a previous tree that was taken down in our back yard.
