Wilber and his team not only offered a highly competitive price, but delivered a full range of services that took care of the tree and left our yard in great shape. The tree required a crane on-site to stabilize the unwieldy root ball and lift sections of the trunk, a massive stump grinder to demolish the root base and jagged tree parts sticking out of the ground, a front end loader to move smaller pieces around, and multiple men with chainsaws to cut it into manageable pieces. Wilber and his staff expertly coordinated all of these resources and was able to complete the job in a single day. We have previously had tree servicing performed on a smaller scale by multiple vendors (including Service Tree Care), but Wilber and his team remain our first choice to deliver high quality work with great attention to detail at a very competitive price. The job was for tree and debris removal, and stump grinding, spread over 5-acre wooded lot. There were 57 standing trees, 34 trees already laying down, stumps, root balls, limbs, etc. Service Tree Care did excellent work! I provided detailed instructions and a map. Service did everything they were supposed to do. I received estimates from 5 companies. Service came in the lowest, lower than I expected based on my experience from previous large tree jobs on my property. They did a great job avoiding damage to my lawn, much less damage than I anticipated, again based on previous experience, even though conditions were wet with snow for a portion of the job. Will is a great guy to work with both at the estimate stage (proposal) and the work performed. His crew worked as a team and each performed their tasks with safety for themselves and the property of the homeowner. They were extremely clean with how they left our property after the work was done. Some of the fallen lens and tree parts fell onto my neighbors yard and they cleaned it all up. Wilbur and his crew did an amazing job cutting down a huge, dead red oak that was right next to my house. It had branches hanging over my house and my garage and I had just installed new gutters. We had 2 very large trees to be removed in our backyard and called 5 different companies to give us estimates. Three of those companies quoted us over $4,000 and the fourth quote was just over $2,600. Mr. Turcios came from Service Tree Care and gave us a great quote of $2,000. When there is such a discrepancy between prices you tend to question service and insurance but Mr. Turcios had his insurance e-mailed to me and a day after we received that, his team was cutting down our trees. One of the trees hung over a favorite dogwood which they took care not to damage. Recently had to remove a 75' poplar tree next to our house. Chris at Tyson's Tree Service gave us an expert opinion and fair estimate to remove the tree and grind the large stump.
