Laura, who owns the place, is very sensitive to medical and wellness concerns. The salt chamber is…read moreslightly different from other "salt caves" in that it is a modern environment into which they pump air with very finely crushed, Himalayan salt designed to address health issues like asthma and eczema. I've been to many such places, but unlike some others, I instantly noticed the high concentration of salt and quickly started feeling the breathing benefits. The place also has a separate salt room for kids, where they can play in salt and, as a result of Laura's sensitivity, the colors are muted so as not to cause issues for children on the spectrum. Overall, this is a wonderful place for healing.

Add this to your self care routine!…read more I'm completely addicted to this place! The warm, welcoming environment instantly puts me at ease, and the salt room has been a total game-changer for my allergies, sinus pressure, and those annoying allergy headaches. I actually bring my laptop in sometimes and make it part of my day--it's the perfect way to multitask while feeling better. Laura, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and creates such a peaceful and inviting space. The customer service is top-notch, and there's always something new to try. Definitely take advantage of the special events--they often happen right in the salt room for added benefits. Acupuncture or a massage in the salt room? Yes, please! If you haven't tried it yet, you're seriously missing out. I feel better every single time I go and can't wait for my next visit!

I've been dealing with a pinch in my chest for 2 years and doctors just keep prescribing antacid medication. After describing this pain associated with heartburn flareups, Tabitha was able to locate this pinch and get rid of it within my first appointment! I honestly can say it has not reappeared with my flareups during the last 2 months. For my other issues, associated with feet/leg pains from jogging, Tabitha has been able to work on those issues with fabulous results and I look forward to continue my treatments regularly with her. Also, since I have referred two friends whom also agree that Tabitha has a unique talent and loves to heal people! I do hope you give Tabitha a try because she's definitely a talented therapist and hopefully will help improve your quality of life as well.

I had a 9:30 appointment that I was very much looking forward to. I got there at 9:20. I walked in, no one acknowledged me. Then I heard a voice Yell Hello? So i took a few steps and said Hello I have a 9:30. She and her coworker spoke a few words then she walked down the hall so I followed. She said wait in here 1 hour, I have 2 people now. I said Oh I cannot wait an hour for a 30 minute service, I had an appointment. She said Well what do you want me to do? I was appalled at her rudeness and lack of customer service. She basically took 2 walk ins knowing she had an appointment. She said wait here 1 hour or reschedule. I walked out. A treat like a foot massage was NOT suppose to be aggravating, annoying and a waste of time. It was all of those things for me. Obviously appointments do not matter nor does the customer.

Most spas I've gone to ask what my spots are that need work , medical history, places they should avoid and so on. Nothing. I don't believe she spoke much English. Well massage started out great !! She was strong although my massage was supposed to be Sweedish and not deep tissue but I didn't mind. Until she jumped on my back !!! Never ever have I had anyone jump on my back before. When I asked her why she said in what I could understand ok ? Although it felt strange I let her continue. When she got off of me she got some hot stones and they were wonderful. When I left still feeling strange about her jumping on me , using knees and feet on my back ,I felt ok. 10 minutes later I couldn't move . My lower back went into spasm and was laid up for 3 days. This has never happened to me after a massage and I've had many. Place was clean and the actual massage was good besides the body on top of me. Maybe they should explain and ask if that's ok first ? Ask questions prior to starting massage what your preferences are ? Well. Needless to say I will not return to Health Spa in Medway.
