(have severe arthritic knee from sports with younger and carrying too much body weight as an adult). I incapacitated and down, had even finally gotten a cane to use periodically - arggggh! Got a referral from a friend to see Robert and it's been a positive life change. Have my mobility back and the pain in my leg is almost gone. Medical research does show that acupuncture helps with pain which is why I think insurance companies are covering (mine does). Robert and the rest of the staff are really great. In one treatment, most of my range of motion was back. I did another 10-12 treatments to relieve "stuck blood," and five years later, I haven't had another problem. The other was for the back of my knees and the Baker's cyst in one - as well as IT band problems. Her treatments - although less fun than, say, a day at Disney - have been extremely effective. If you're open to acupuncture, you should try her.

While Dr. Hai seems to know what she is doing, there are two things that are very disturbing…read more First, she reuses the blankets to cover her patients WITHOUT washing them. I have seen her refold them and put them away after using them on me. This is so unsanitary, even if it just covering the patients clothes. Who knows where they have been or what is on their clothes? It made my skin crawl. Second, she reuses any medical tape that she needs to hold needles or wires in place - tape that has been on a patient's skin! She takes the tape off and sticks it to a can in the cabinet. Then she takes it off that can and uses it over again. How gross and how cheap. Use new tape for each patient and stop reusing the blankets! Both issues are a major turn-off.
