Rather than de-escalating, she continued in a raised and condescending tone. The interaction felt unnecessary and disproportionate to what was a simple, easily correctable request. Even the employee at the register appeared visibly uncomfortable. What made this experience especially troubling was not the initial mistake , mistakes happen, but the public scolding that followed. Being reprimanded loudly over a minor request, felt humiliating and unwarranted. Customer service should prioritize resolution over reprimand. A calm clarification or simple solution would have sufficed. Despite the interaction, I still left a tip. I hope management takes this feedback seriously.
