When you finally do reach someone, they can ONLY schedule appointments. I was even told they are not onsite, and not even in this country -- so they are unable to help with anything else within the office. Most of the staff listed are nurse practitioners, who seem very under qualified and experienced. The level of care and compassion here is astonishingly poor. My mother is on a prescribed a medication through this office (for nearly a year now), and is down to her last pill. Our pharmacist informed us they have attempted THREE separate times to contact someone at this office for the standard refill, with no response. I have personally tried reaching a medical assistant, a supervisor--someone! I've left multiple voicemails, and even sent an email -- no response. The pharmacy was only able to provide a 3-day emergency supply. This medication cannot be stopped abruptly without the risk of severe side effects, meaning my mother's health has been put at risk due to the negligence and complete lack of communication from this office. Even the pharmacist was astonished! We need this medication refilled for my mother ASAP. At this point, I will be escalating this matter further. This is not how any medical office should operate, especially a neurology practice. Patients deserve better care, better communication, and basic accountability. Do better.

You may want to park on the side near the 2010 building where fewer people tend to park because of the short walk over to the 2020 building. The check in process itself was quick and organized. Make sure to have your photo ID/driver's license and insurance card ready to scan. The staff member handling check in was friendly and professional. The wait was a little longer than expected, and the waiting room is on the smaller side with around 18 chairs, but there is designated space available for wheelchairs which is nice to see. Overall, the staff was excellent...professional, welcoming, and very informative without making things feel overwhelming. Dr. Jay Mahajan was especially impressive with his thoroughness, competence, and ability to clearly address more complex concerns. We felt confident seeing Dr. Jay Mahajan, because of his impressive background and wide range of expertise. I highly recommend Las Vegas Neurology for their professional staff, efficient care, and knowledgeable providers who truly take the time to explain and address your concerns.

I've already complained to manager for years. Place is till the same. Even if u arrive early or on time u can be waiting 30 minutes to an hour. That's normal here. I hear ppl complaining all the time in elevator, parking lot and hallway and waiting room! Only reason I'm stuck here is bc it's the only doctor for my issue in all of Vegas. Horrible system- no system at all. Extremely unprofessional. I feel so bad for doctors and patients.

He was thorough, compassionate, and genuinely focused on getting to the root of what was going on. I never felt rushed or dismissed. He took the time to explain everything and made sure all necessary tests were done. Two weeks prior, I had gone to St. Rose Hospital for the exact same pain and was told it was esophageal spasms without much testing. The pain went away the next day, but when it came back two weeks later, it was a full 10/10. When I explained this to Dr. Leavit, he told me that esophageal spasms are very difficult to definitively diagnose and that he wanted to run a full workup to be sure we weren't missing anything. I am so grateful he did. It turned out to be my gallbladder, and it needed to be removed. I was told it was close to rupturing, and catching it when they did likely prevented a much more serious situation. I was there for several hours before being admitted to Henderson Hospital, and although there was an emergency situation that caused some delays, the team kept me informed every step of the way. An administrative staff member checked on me multiple times to make sure I was okay and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. I don't remember my nurse's name, but he was equally amazing--kind, attentive, and compassionate. He made sure I had everything I needed during a long stay from about 8 PM to 3 AM. The entire time, I felt cared for, seen, and supported. It was clear that the team genuinely wanted to find answers, not just treat symptoms. I can't say enough good things about the care I received here.

I got signed in and took a seat, it was probably no more than 10 minutes and I was called back to a room. I was seen by the Doctor and you know what? He knew something was wrong, too. Portable Xray came in to take xrays of my elbow and guess what? Broken. Like .. BROKEN. They put me in a splint and made sure I had a referral to an Ortho for ASAP. When I had some trouble getting the referral to go through, I called back and they helped me get another referral for a different Doctor. All in all, i think I was in the ER for just over an hour. Definitely less than 2 hours. I'm so glad this place is right by my house, both because it's convenient and because I drove myself there with a broken right elbow. Ouch.
