Dr. Raja is a nice enough guy but he is SLOW in getting you in for an appointment and slow in getting you back for a follow up to work you had completed. If you are looking for a diagnosis from him for a condition be prepared for it to take many months. read more

We have had nothing but pleasant experiences with Dr. Roshan and his staff. We needed an appointment timely and they accommodated us. The in office wait time has been a little wait but not the worst and his bed side manner is kind. I am sure he has to explain all day to people who just can't comprehend and he is patient with that. Lucky for us we don't need to see him any further but would be happy to if we had to again. read more

We saw Dr.Raja this morning for my 11 year old son. The doctor was AMAZING! Patient, kind, personable. Explained things to me and to my son in ways that's easy to understand and retranslate to his father (who wasn't able to make the appointment). The doctor was recommended to me from someone who had taken their child to other neurologist in town and I am so grateful for their input and recommendation. Dr. Raja took the time to look over all the records I'd brought pertaining to my son and discussed them with us. He asks the questions to prompt the things you might not have thought of but are important. Very highly would suggest Dr. Raja to anyone looking for answers and to be set in the right path for helping their child. read more

Im only giving it ONE star because it wouldn't give me an option to just give a giant thumbs down or a negative -1 as in worst place possible.I waited almost five months for results from a sleep test done on my four year old. I called every week for results AFTER waiting three weeks from the time the test was preformed as I was told. And still no results. So today after so much time of waiting, and calling, I cancelled all future appointments and asked for any other neurologist I can take my son to see and the receptionist was more than happy to give me names and numbers! His staff is as careless and unorganized as him! Really not surprised and wouldnt recommend this place to someone I didn't like! Go some where else! Save yourself the trouble! read more

We had a completely different experience than the other reviewer and perhaps it is because he was our fifth neurologist. We love Dr. Raja. He is slow getting you back in the exam room (but if your child has special needs and you see specialists in Las Vegas, this is the norm), but it is because he is thorough. He sits and actually discusses the issues with you. I would say the minimum amount of time we spend with him is 10 minutes and that is just on follow-ups. I recommend Dr. Raja to any parent who has had to experience the only other child neurology center on Desert Inn and is frustrated with not only the office staff but the lack of compassion and understanding provided by the doctors at that office. read more

Dr raja is amazing! However, his staff are rude incompetent, and have very very nasty attitudes! Scheduling appointments is hard they act like it's a burden when a parent calls! Even going in to appointments is a drag because of the unprofessional environment! I get it he's the best! his staff should reflect the great kind patient DR he is! read more

Extremely nice very knowledgeable Doctor. Thank goodness he is here in Las Vegas... It may take a while for an appointment but it is definitely worth it because he gives a correct diagnosis and he works hard to find the correct medication needed. read more

So after waiting 2 months, it has been determined my son has benign roladic epilepsy. The good news kids usually grow out of, the Dr was very polite and explained BRE in very understanding way. My only complaint now is we had a 9/17 appointment for follow up and the office has rescheduled 10/20 due to dr will be unavailable for the 9/17 date. There really needs to be more pediatric neurologist in Las Vegas. I've given the 3 stars on the Dr. Knowledge and way he communicated with my son. Downfall is clearly the waiting and scheduling process. read more

We came to Dr. Raja after having terrible experiences with another neurology group in town. It did take a long time to get an appointment, but it took a long time at the other place as well and they were rude, we had to wait 3+ hours in the waiting room and they just did not care about my son. Dr. Raja is worth the wait. He spends time with each of his patients, is thorough and really cares. He had seen my son for one visit when a couple weeks later I needed advise on a Sunday. He promptly called me back, knew who my son was and knew his medical condition. I feel confident that Dr. Raja is the best peds neurologist in Las Vegas--you can try the other guys but you will be disappointed. read more

My daughter went for an EEG over a month ago. I've called countless times trying to get the results and have been given the run around each time, or can't get through to anyone so I leave a voicemail and get NO CALL BACK. Awful office. All I want is my childs results. I do not recommend this office to ANYONE. read more

Dr Raja is possibly the best pediatric Neurologist in Las Vegas. I have been to many Neurologist, between taking my Mother, myself and my daughters. Typically I never come away with any information that I didn't already have. Dr Raja treated my Daughter with kindness and respect, without a long office wait. He is open minded and would listen to what me, as a Mother had to say. Grateful that we had the chance to inter act with he and his office. read more

I had an appointment for my daughter who has seizures and we live in North Las Vegas was running late called and let them know they said after 15 late we would have to reschedule so I tried to be there on time but did not make it. So when I arrived there the receptionist (who was very nice and the other younger girl) said I would have to reschedule frustrated but working for a Dr.'s office I understood . So I was ready to reschedule then this older lady (I assume the office manager) started talking about new patients need to be on time or they will be rescheduled her demeanor was rude and harsh also she stood where I could see and hear her. Remember these are peoples children and we are helpless and heart broken to see what our children have to go through and if you child has ever had a seizure in front of you it is the most scary heart wrenching thing I have ever been through.(I also have nursing in my back ground just saying) I need to reschedule there but I hope the Dr. is better than some of his office staff. I have left 2 messages in 3-4 days and still no call back or confirmation that anyone has received my message I will be calling my pediatrician to let her know my experience thus far and if nothing else find some where else to go. read more

I don't have enough great things to say about Dr Raja but his staff and scheduling procedures are absolutely awful. I had to wait close to 3 hours for my last appointment and was told they were running behind and apologized to profusely. The next appointment... same thing. When I expressed how upset I was that it was going to take so long to be seen (I drive 45 minuets to see him and had a standing therapy appointment for my son, I expected 4 hours between appointments to be plenty time!), the receptionist rudely explained to me that they always double or triple book all of their appointments in case they have no shows or cancellations and since I was an established patient I should be aware of this. I think it's extremely unprofessional to make someone wait so long for an appointment that has been scheduled for 6 months and confirmed 4 times! Yes, I received 2 phone calls and 2 separate emails to confirm this appointment. Love the doctor but with all the medical bills associated with specialty medical care, I cannot afford to miss an entire day of work for one appointment. Dr. Raja is not only unprofessional but his behavior is inexcusable! We went to Dr. Raja's office to seek answers as to what could be causing our daughter to experience frequent and irregular sharp pains in her head. The doctor recommended a MRI of the brain and MRI of the spine be done. We did so immediately. We waited the 72 hours for the results (as directed by Steinberg), confirmed the results were delivered to the doctor's office. We waited and waited, waited, and waited! No response from the doctor or his office. It took 4 phone calls from me to the doctor's office, and an additional week with NO return call from the doctor to interpret the results of the tests. I took matters into my own hands, drove down to Steinberg to get copies of the results and again attempted to contact the doctor in order to have him (the person with the M.D. attached to his name) read, interpret and deliver the results. These are 2 very important and expensive tests. The very least the doctor (who insisted on the tests) could do is to read and deliver the results. Pediatric Neurologist? I think not. Quack is more like it. The indifference, the unimportance, the lack of professionalism, the absence of service....This is the most stressful and ridiculous experience with a doctor's office, our family has ever had. I get a phone call from my primary care physician immediately following up on a simple blood test. The neurologist can't fit it into his busy schedule to read, and call a family back with the results of a BRAIN and SPINE MRI? You have got to be kidding! If nothing else, at least call with the results. Make a suggestion as to what to do next? I know what our next step will be- finding a new pediatric neurologist. Dr. Raja should be ashamed of himself. read more

Very nice. May not be the most efficient, but that is how all the doctors are. He's better than most doctors (and their offices!). He is the only neurologist in town and I know how it's like to be overwhelmed. Despite all of that he runs as efficiently as he can. read more

I had a terrible experience at this office. The summer after I turned 16 I fainted on three separate occasions over the period of one year, all of them having valid reasons why (heat, dehydration/low blood sugar, and having blood drawn.) My mom thought it was best to be checked out, because it scared her. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. When we were finally able to get an appointment, the female (Ahmad). Asked me what happened and I explained to her the situations. Without another world she pulled out a sheet of paper and told us that it was her "duty" to alert the DMV immediately, (even though none the times i fainted were close to when I was driving or even when I had a licence) and that most likely they would send us a letter. You can imagine my broken heart when i received a letter in the mail about the "seizures" I apparently had, and that my licence must be surrendered. We knew this was not true, and fought to get my licence back, going through an MRI, EEG(45 min). EEG(24 hour), and EKG. Finally after about 2 months I was cleared of the misdiagnosis of seizures. I did see Dr. Raja on one of my visits, he was kind and thorough when going over my test results. The EEG tech were very kind and gentle on both occasions. That woman who initially met with me was rude, inconsiderate, and never properly examined me. ALSO when I initially scheduled my 24 hour EEG they scheduled me out 3 months. My mom had to fight with them to get me in sooner. Office staff were not knowledgeable about paper work such as their HIPPA form giving each patient their rights and never produced one to us when we asked for it. read more
