Very decent Italian choice if you are in the Crown Center area and hungry for a small pizza or just an order of meatballs with a small salad. We were a bit hungry after our visit to the Museum of BBQ (go figure) and ended up at SPIN! where kiosks are available to order and seating is available inside, bar area with brick oven views, or outside the restaurant (mall patio area near escalator). The small order of 3 meatballs with a Caesar Salad absolutely hit the spot. The 7" pizza special also looked like the perfect lunch order. Definitely recommend this place for light bites before heading back out to explore KCMO. Grazie!

Eating healthy is difficult when traveling and I felt like I was able to eat healthy at SPIN! Pizza. I ordered a Sonoma salad which was delicious and came with a crispy and flavorful flatbread cracker. I also got a lemonade which was refreshing. And when you are in an Italian restaurant, you have to have gelato for dessert. I got the peanut butter cup gelato and it was awesome! Everything was good and was not very expensive.

The service was quick and the staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed while waiting for our to-go order. The food is good, they cook the pizza on spinning woodfire oven, which was pretty cool to watch. They have plenty of seating and even more seating just across from it. I would recommend and eat here again!

Cauliflower crust pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, Kalamata olives

I have prediabetes and eat low carb, so pizza is usually a no go, sadly. But I saw this place offers a cauliflower crust, so I decided to give it a go. I added Italian sausage, pepperoni, and Kalamata olives. Probably one of the tastiest cauliflower crust pizzas I've had! I ordered the wrong size and had way more pizza than I needed, and I had to stop myself from eating. I would definitely eat here again if I were in the area!

Yummy! We got the three meats and the cheesy bread! Cute establishment, great location! Servers were very friendly and fast!

This location is inside the Crowne shops and has plenty of seating. It was a little on the pricey side with about $20 with tax for a personal pizza that wasn't very filling. The staff also seemed not too friendly and appeared annoyed when I asked a question about getting an itemized receipt since they almost threw my recipe away without giving it to me. The pizza is freshly made but the sauce wasn't too tasty. The pepperoni was the best part of the pizza so good! I probably would not eat here again though. I felt unwelcome by the attitude I got for asking for a receipt even though I asked politely before my transaction was over.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TIME TO SPARE! Pizza is ok and acceptable. It was a fine pizza with an ok crust, a little soggy toward the middle. Couldn't hold its toppings but flavor was good. Nothing to write home about and CERTAINLY not worth waiting 45 minutes for. Pizza may have actually tasted better if I had waited the expected 15/20 minutes but the wait really left a poor taste. No apology, no cares, nothing. Very disappointing and cost us time we didn't have to spare. If the space is empty, you might have a chance but it was about half full and they couldn't handle the capacity so proceed with caution if you have things to do.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Lego Discovery Center and Aquarium The kids cheese pizza was great and my son ate the whole thing - the kids Mac and cheese appears to just be Kraft, so my daughter wouldn't eat it but was happy to have the gelato. I'm not deducting a start though because she just doesn't like Kraft. I got the Margherita and Cesar salad, my husband the spinach and garlic and a goat cheese salad. We did not realize the goat cheese pizza had bacon (we are vegetarian) and they were great about whisking it away to replace. Also - it must have been a kids eat free night because the kids meals were free. Definitely recommend to any family not looking to spend a ton on lunch, but still wanting a delicious meal.

It unfortunately looks so much better than it tasted. 12" Chicken & Goat Cheese

Let me start off by saying I try minimum 2/3 pizza places every city I go to. Menu looked promising had fancy, but not pretentious, options. Got a pizza with goat cheese and chicken. The bites that had goat cheese were good but for a $20 pizza I got three bites of goat cheese a small sprinkle of dried out cubed chicken and the rest of the pizza was just sad. I've had better pizza at gas stations for 1/3 of the price. Toddler loved her pizza so wasn't a complete loss but you want me to tip a "server" to do nothing but bring me my order (never once asked how food was or offered drink refills etc) and wait forever to order a pizza because you have one register open and a long line? Nah. Skip this one. I should've looked at reviews before I went - this one has less than 4 stars for a reason. Either be a cheap, quick, simple pizza place or deliver on taste. This one tries pretends to do both delivers on neither and the customer is the one who loses. Don't recommend, won't be back.

We popped in for some lunch takeaway. Service was very friendly! I had a personal (7 inch) pesto chicken on cauliflower crust and a half sonoma salad. Really enjoyed them both! The rest of the family shared a 12" pepperoni pizza. They said it was great! I'd eat there again for sure.

Visited the crown center location for lunch on a Sunday. We ordered using a gift card; there was some issue with redeeming it as they had to get some help from management to complete the sale. After about 20 minutes, the food arrived--except for one in our group. His food went to the next table and would need to be re-made. Another 15 minutes passed and his order was delivered. The pizzas and salad were good, but something has changed over the years--both in taste and especially the service. When compared with pizza chains in the metro, there are other options that will surpass Spin in both quality and service.

You can tell a lot of thought went into creating the space. What really sets this place apart is the wood-fired cooking. Everything is prepared over Missouri hickory and oak, and you can truly taste the difference. The food has this incredible smoky depth that makes every bite feel elevated and intentional. I also love that they source ingredients from local farmers, which really comes through in how fresh and vibrant everything tastes. The menu feels seasonal, thoughtful, and well-executed. The food itself is not only beautifully presented, but packed with flavor. Every dish I tried was cooked perfectly and left a lasting impression. They're open for lunch, and they also offer catering from casual office lunches to full events. I've heard amazing things about their charcuterie boards as well. It was a full, nicely cooked piece with great flavor, not a small portion tossed in as an afterthought. The salad had fresh greens, avocado, egg, and plenty of nuts and toppings that made it feel filling and well put together. My only issue was the packaging. The salad container was left fully open inside the bag, and the bag was stapled shut. I did not realize there were staples and cut my hand opening it. Because I was in a hotel and had put a few small items in the bag, they ended up falling right onto the exposed salad when I opened it. For delivery orders, a closed container and a safer seal would make a big difference. Food quality was excellent though, and I would order again, just hoping for better delivery packaging next time.

When we told her it was our first visit to the restaurant, she took the time to carefully go over the menus with us (regular, happy hour, and drinks), providing her recommendations when we asked. Her guidance was spot-on-target! For drinks, I had a Mindful Chai and my friend had the 3-Beverage Flight (Golden Hour, Heart Says Thanks, and Tres Raices). My chai was the BEST I have ever tasted (and I order chai every chance I get!), and my friend loved her 3 drinks (she said Tres Raices was her favorite). For our food, we split an order of the Not Queso Dip and the Avocado Tostadas. We were both very impressed by how fresh the ingredients were, and the blend of flavors in each dish that created a unique and yummy taste. The Kitchen has an open, airy layout that inspires deep breathing, while the arrangement and spacing of tables still provides for intimacy of conversation and minimal ambient noise. Sofhia checked back with us several times during our meal to ensure we had everything we needed and were thoroughly enjoying our food and drink (we were!). It was a delightful meal, and we thank Sofhia, the kitchen staff, and everyone at Whole Harvest Kitchen for such a lovely time. We'll be back!!

We didn't sample, but next time I'd like to try a flight of their wellness drinks! The LETTUCE CRUNCH WRAPS (soy-glazed jicama & tofu, lentil, pickled veg, walnut, cilantro, sesame dip) were an absolute favorite. Highly recommended! The texture was very well balanced. Silky smooth butter lettuce and a delicious sauce on the side, although it truly didn't even need it. The AVOCADO TOSTADAS (blue corn tostada, guacamole, quinoa, white bean, radish, pickled red onion, super seed) were yummy, but our least favorite of the three. Instead of a thin layer of mashed avocados, I'd honestly just put a few nice slices of avocado for the bulk of it. Taste was lovely! It is a totally cold dish, fyi. The HARVEST WOK BOWL (split pea-fu, beluga lentil, farro, snap pea, greens, brown rice, daikon, cashew, ginger-scallion sauce) was completely phenomenal. I could do without the split pea-fu, but it probably added some great nutrition! The FLAVOR and texture of this dish was so so good. I can't even right now. (As my teenager would say...) Enjoy!!

Upon doing some research I learned it's a scratch kitchen specializing in clean eats, and that it's a chain. A win for the health options, a ding for the chain, but not all chains are bad, an we are living in a time where there are some winners. So, I packed myself up and headed down the road to Prairie Village. It's still fairly new, and it has that squeaky clean feeling to it when you arrive. Inside it's counter service and you seat yourself (they will bring the food to you). It kind of reminded me of how Noodles and Company felt when they first became a thing way back in the early 2000s. I ordered a thai salad that came in at under 400 calories so I was honestly skeptical at how big or flavorful it would really be when it arrived, and holy cow was it good. The chicken was cold, but still held some flavor, the dressing was great, there were fresh veggies, pickled onions. It was one of the best 400 calorie meals I've had in a long time. My dad ordered the salmon curry and he also enjoyed his though I didn't try it so jury's out on my opinion! I left full and happy to have discovered this spot. I'll be back soon!
