There are other places in the same area...definitely go anywhere else but here. This was my 1st time here and it will be my last. The bearded attendant had the personality of a dead body, machines haven't been updated since the 90's, no ATM, and no credit card access to charge a laundry card or pay for a wash. Only quarters accepted, so unless you travel with $10 in quarters, you may have a problem.... They have change machines but it took 10 min for it to accept my $20 dollar bill. "Dead Body Attended" had no change to break a $20. ** Saving grace though were the shops next door to Laundromat, as they have ATM amd cashier attendants that have a pulse and the pizza spot, "Marco's Pizza" was amazing... definitely eat there if you find yourself looking to make the best out of this sad visit to Spin City! Spin City Laundromat reminds me of the good ol' days of being 21 again-- out on my own trying to adult. SCL is a small, friendly neighborhood laundry mat that does what it's supposed to do, provides a place for you to do your laundry. This place is a no frills kind of joint, very straightforward. You have bills, go to the change machine, get coins in exchange, select the right machine for the amount of clothes you have and do it. The gentlemen who works here is a gentle giant, when he saw me, he definitely knew I was lost and asked me if I needed help. Before I could reply he said the machines that would work the best and how much clothes I could fit in it. He looks like someone who cares and takes pride in his work and he went about wiping down the machines after I finished using it. The machine I used was for a small load with delicates and mainly t-shirts, socks and undies. It worked well and I like the fact that it only took 20 minutes to wash and the dryer takes as long as you want it to. Starting at 6 minutes up to probably 1 hour depending on how dry you want your items. So far this place does what it's supposed to and I'm glad I discovered it. I swear to god the BEST laundromat in the town. Don literally my life savior !!!! It was my first time coming to the laundromat, so I really didn't know anything, but he taught me everything and explained it to me VERY nicely like omg he is so nice make me cry. Machines are clean and there's no problem at all. You can put the big laundry in the big laundry bin, and there are also small laundry bins, so you can do small laundry at a lower price. Came here for the first time, this is the closest laundromat to my house. $4.25 for the front load washer. Top loading washers were a little cheaper. Dryer cost .25 for 8 mins of dry time. Gets pretty busy here. Would come again for my washer/drying needs. read more

Place was clean but over half the washer machines didn't work. The "worker" or the person who sits and watches t.v. mentioned a machine may not work. I pointed out the other broken machines have signs on them the last two didn't have a sign and he said "well your good then.". So I put my soap and laundry in both machines and wouldn't you know it one had money stuck in the coin slot and the other wouldn't take coins either. The attendant(again I say this loosely) said "told you so." I suggested maybe put out of order signs on these 2 machines that don't work since all the other broken ones have signs on them. Again another lippy response "It's obvious which machines are broken I don't need to put a sign on them. So never going there again. I will say it the laundry mat itself was clean, the worker is a horrible representative of the business. read more

Average place. I washed 2 comforters in separate maxi machines. One came out with someone else's sock and a plastic bag stuck to it. The other came out covered in someone's pet's hair and a bunch of little snags. Kinda sucked since the comforter was new and this was it's 1st wash. They need someone to go around and clean out the machines after people use them. $7 per wash. And, yes, as others have mentioned, there were a lot of washers and dryers that were out of order. I will definitely consider getting a larger home washer after this. read more

I can't believe that after all these years on the planet earth, I am back to the point in my life where I have to go to the laundromat to do my laundry! But here we are. Do you have a washer and dryer at your house? Me neither so this is my go to laundromat! It's near my house, which is the biggest factor in me using them but the staff is always very nice and helpful. I don't understand why so many of their washers are not working, some of them have a very foul musty odor, which makes me skip that machine and look for one that doesn't stink. Not sure why the machines aren't better serviced, but go in, find one that works, wash your dirty stuff and go home. read more

I rarely use laundromats but I had a couple large size comforters so I looked up Spin City and as I walked in Don said hello and assisted me with the machines and the soap. He was kind and helpful and you could tell that the laundromat was well cared for and clean. Highly recommend and found out prices are very reasonable compared to other laundromats. Don't go to any other laundromat period! I'm in town for a week staying on the Las Vegas strip and needed to wash a few items to stay fresh & clean. I came in around noon and the first thing I noticed it was cool & clean inside, not all laundromats are from my experience. Also met a super cool dude managing the laundromat named Don! This is the best Laundromat in America and probably the world. Not only are the washers dryers are extremely fast but they are also inexpensive. There are always open units and I never have to wait. I also feel very safe. Dons presence at the laundromat is a big part of that. He remembered me from my last visit 2 years ago. We travel alot and have used laundromats literally across the country and this is by far the cleanest and best run laundromat we have found. The washing machines are very clean inside and out the floor is always clean and moped, the folding areas are always clean. Don one of the employees there is terrific he's always so helpful and you can tell he cares about keeping the place clean and tidy. I used to like coming here to do my laundry. It the other day while I was there a man walked in and was attempting to talk to the attendant on duty. I couldn't hear the conversation fully because of the distance from it. At the ending there interaction, the attendant walks over to me and asks "Do you speak Spanish?" I shook my head no and he continues with "Well I'm in America, I only need to know how to speak American." I can not support this type of racism. This location is in an are where Spanish speaking is highly prevalent. Regardless of what language you speak or don't speak, that was disrespectful and uncalled for. Being in a wheelchair can be difficult when doing laundry. But I came here dreading having to load and remove my clothes from the washer and dryer.... But at the very back was this sign saying .99 cents per pound wash dry and fold?? Sold.. Other places were 1.99 per pound.. Paid the very friendly attendant ,Carlos 15.00 and now I'm writing this review!! He said it'll take probably two hours but I was happy ... I needed to wash an extremely large dog bed. Previous to finding Spin City on Yelp I had only been to Magic Wash on Decatur and Charleston, and it's been a few years so when I read the reviews and it said it was staffed I figured I would give it a shot. As other reviewers have said it's on the small side. To me all the washers appeared to have the same size door opening so I asked an employee if it would fit in any of the machines. He directed me to what would work and even stood by as I loaded my coins and soap. Guess he could tell I'm not a regular. It was $6 and took about 25 minutes. I felt comfortable enough to wait in the car as the parking lot is home to a few businesses and I didn't get that vibe that it was sketchy, as I had at Magic Wash. Yes I would absolutely recommend this laundromat, it's very clean and machines work awesome. Your clothes definitely get clean with all the strong cycles these washing machines have. And the dryers are hot too, you don't need to dry them long. There is a lady there who is always there when we go on Sunday's and she is always cleaning and wiping down all the machines.
