Large enough laundromat with plenty of washers and dryers. Well-priced and clean. Probably ten single load washers (4 were not working); Eighteen triple load washers (2 were not working); Three six load washers all working. Single load were $2,25 each; triple load were $4.00; six load was $8.75. Dryers were .25 for 6 minutes. .75 seemed to adequately dry two large loads. The person working was explaining to people how to use machines correctly, but there always has to be one jerk who doesn't listen. When offered help, she treated him rudely even though he was polite asking her. She states she didn't belong in a littoral doing her own laundry. I guess the rich are having to break a sweat in this economy. In Taos on vacation and like to do laundry to take home fresh clothes. Highly recommended. read more

I would avoid this place. The guy behind the counter who wears the cowboy hat all the time is one of those humans who seems to enjoy harrassing people. He was rude to me on multiple ocassions in the past and I let it slide. Today, he was downright obnoxious. He berated me in front of other customers for not putting the quarters in the machine fast enough. Then, he refused to let me use the bathroom (although he let other patrons use it). I used to actually really enjoy doing my laundry at Spin and Sparkle. No more! read more

The guy sitting behind the desk with the cowboy hat is rude to everyone. My washer is not filling up this morning, and he had the audacity to tell me you could have it yourself, asked for the owners information and told me he would not give me the information for me to give me my number to him and he would give it to the owner. I don't know what happened to the elderly lady that was working here at spin and sparkle, but she was very nice and always helpful. The man with the cowboy, how rude hateful unprofessional, and needs to be fired. read more

Came in to do a small load. Out of the 10 machines that could do small loads, only 1 was working. Overall it's a decent laundromat. They have an ATM and change machines. Also a good variety of soap options. read more

**WARNING: PARKING AREA IS MUDDY, ICY, AND SLIPPERY** *as of 2/2022 You're not in Beverly Hills so don't expect pristine machines. It's MUDDY, icy, windy, wet... OUTSIDE so everyone tracks in dirt. The machines may or may not be in working order but there will be a sign if it's not. Therea hard working attendant on site, please be patient and kind, she's doing her best. Please be polite to other customers and don't hog the folding tables too long or leave your clothes in the machines when they are done. I am making a comparison between Spin And Sparkle and Pinch Penny Laundromat in Taos. At Spin and Sparkle I noticed how clean it was and had available Washers and Dryers. The older Caucasian Lady was exceptionally friendly and courteous. Just a very nice woman. At Pinch Penny it's pretty dirty, the soda machine is usually broke, half the washers and dryers r broke, there's no quarter machine, and the hispanic lady is mean spirited and bullyish. She yells at obvious out of towners while trying to act just sweet as pie to the locals. She's obnoxious! Anybody from out of town I strongly suggest u try Spin and Sparkle over Pinch Penny. Outside: the paving & exterior of the property need some help, but there are plenty of parking spaces reserved for laundry customers. Inside: lots of open machines on a weekday, clean (for a laundromat), and plenty of airflow so also cool (for a laundromat). The TVs were OFF, which was also great. The machines are in good repair or visibly tagged "out of order" *with* what's wrong, which makes me think they pay attention to detail. The dryers actually dry, even on the low temperature setting. They also have a bathroom, change machines that take small bills, decent vending machines, pretty comfortable chairs, and a wash & fold service. And the attendant was nice as can be! read more

This place is great! Very clean & everything works. I was there when they opened & there was a very nice gentleman cleaning up the parking lot. So everywhere is clean inside & out. I was in vacation in Taos and needed a load of laundry washed for me. I dropped off my clothes early morning and it was ready in early afternoon. I found the staff to be friendly, the rates to be reasonable, and the laundry was cleaned (and folder) just as expected. read more

Unfortunately they have no internet anymore...when I spend an hour or more doing laundry with my 9yo. It's a great time for him to do his homework (online) we used to be able to kill two birds with one stone...pinch-a-penny laundery has internet, staff on hand to make change, much newer machines, and alot cheaper too... bummer spin and sparkle was my staple for the last ten years...who gets rid of there internet?...odd. was nice doing business with you. read more

I saw the review by a fellow motorcycle rider and echo his praise. My family opted to drop off our clothing and go sightseeing and riding and return later to clothing that had been washed and everything for us. It was very economical at about 12 bucks. Traveling west on motorcycle from WV... out for 2 wks, so I usually have to stop at least once and do laundry. Read the reviews and was skeptical. Anyway when I got there I'd asked the very nice lady working there about there prices for wash and fold service... Course it's based on size of load... Long story short, it cost me $11 and I didn't have to set in a laundromat for an hour and a half on my vacation. Dropped them off in the morning, rode the enchanted circle, picked them up in the evening, washed, folded extremely neatly and smelling quite clean ... People there were polite, I thought the rates were extremely reasonable... I wouldn't hesitate to use this laundromat or that service again... Well done! read more

This was nice when it first opened but has both aged less desirable machines and then I found that it was taking many more quarters to dry than the one in El Prado, which is better quality, less expensive, has internet, but can be very busy. Still I prefer it since esp during the winter it is easier to park and get in and out of. S n S has the worst parking and worse if you have to deal with ice/snow while backing up into the busy road to get out of parking if there is parking. Cannot speak to the wash n fold as never used it there. I wish I could use this since it is near shopping n errands but I go all the way to north side El Prado because of what I mentioned above. read more

So having never lived in a place that didn't have a washer / dryer, or at least a laundry room, I didn't really know what to expect from a laundromat. We were about a week into our road trip, staying at a campground nearby, and I HAD to get some laundry done before moving on to the Grand Canyon for the weekend. Thankfully, the staff here was super super friendly and helpful. They showed me the ropes for the washers and dryers, gave suggestions on how much time I would need to dry, the whole nine yards. I dig that they also offer full service washing / drying / folding as well, but this was a budget trip so I decided against that one. They have a change machine inside which is awesome, as well as a vending machine for laundry detergent and fabric softener. Lots of different sized washers for different sized loads, and lots of dryers. We drove by the place several times while we were out and about in Taos, and it didn't ever look like it was too crowded. I'm sure there are normal busy / slow times, but I have no idea what those might be. Weekends and evenings maybe? *shrug* Best part of the whole deal? Free wifi and a whole row of chairs in which to chill. I brought in my laptop and used the downtime to research the next leg of our road trip while waiting for our clothes to wash and dry. It was like a little ray of sunshine since our campground not only had no wifi, but no cell phone service either. read more

This laundromat was very clean compared to the others. It's conveniently located across the street from a Smith's Super Market, Gas Station, Big 5, Pizza and a Snow Ski shop. It's perfect if you need to kill a few birdd with one stone while your clothes is being washed. read more
