On December 17th, as they were dealing with holiday volume, the employees at Taos Crating listened to our needs, desires, and concerns and within 24 hours, packed our purchases securely and efficiently and sent them via UPS. The package arrived in mint condition with absolutely not a thing broken or even moved!! We are overjoyed that I listened to our friend and shopped local instead of the UPS Store! After…read morespending yesterday at Saver's and Goodwill in Santa Fe and finding no Southwest inspired goods, I was in the mood for a real old timey local non-chain thrift store. We stopped here on our way through Taos. Walked in looked around found lots of truly vintage goods. The store was surprisingly busy for 11am on a Saturday. Found a beautiful vintage wedding dress. Unique as hell. Looks hand sewn, and maybe from the 1930s. Had clothes, books, appliances, decor, kitchenry, even cords. One of the staff was wiping down the shelves and the place seemed pretty clean for a thrift store. Great place to stop in!

He remade my mother's wedding ring and band into one ring (mediocre) and he made earrings out of a Chinese mother of pearl game token adding a gold frame and a pearl to each (I was astounded by the price tag of over $700, but my bad for not getting an estimate). I took my lab grown diamond anniversary band to have a diamond reset that had fallen out and asked that they also check the others to make sure they weren't loose. I picked up my ring which I thought looked good. Upon closer examination at home I discovered that almost half of my ring was smashed on the interior and the stone that was replaced was crooked. I took the ring back and spoke with Larry. He said he did not do the work, someone else did. He took the ring back and said he would see what he could do with it. He did apologize. I picked it up and this time, not only was the inside still smashed, but the exterior silver looked like it had been sanded. So, half of my ring is shiny silver and have is dull. It is ruined. I'm sorry Larry, but if someone did that to one of your beautiful silver creations you would not be happy. Neither am I.

It had chronic overheating issues and died within a very loud fan wined up (so before the load screen for fans). It got so bad I was going to buy a new one. I called Electric Sheep (ESC.. heheheh) and HOLY COW! They just took my box for about the 10 minutes. Boom. Now I have my whole gaming and hub for my media center back. They didnt let me inside the store (kinda weird) but they where SUPER friendly outside. They also cleaned and put my machine into an operation again cheap! They didn't break open the Xbox for a full dust out/out(warranty people know the respect). Whatever they did do was perfect. I really hope they expand into console services. Thanks guys please think about expanding services to gamers. The consoles always need repairs that aren't here in our beautiful Taos.
