Im so happy to have Indian/Nepali food so close. This is pure comfort food. The mango lassi is my favorite. I loved the rice and entree. I got takeout but I'd love to sit and eat as well. It's a small restaurant with a good amount of seating. The service was quick and very friendly.

As always the food is delicious, although the portions can be more. We ordered garlic naan and they only gave us one slice. Plus an appetizer with only two pieces. The main dinner was a lot, but it's a bit pricey for a college town. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy and clean! I am glad there's an Indian restaurant in town.

Visited Spicy Trails with my vegetarian daughter. Spicy Trails offers plenty of vegetarian choices, and the food was fantastic perfect flavors, a quiet atmosphere, and excellent customer service. They did lose one star because the entrées arrived while we were still eating our appetizers, and our to-go order came out at the same time as the entrées. There wasn't enough space on the table, so the bag ended up on the floor. Overall, I strongly recommend the goat and the lamb both were exceptional.

This area has been in desperate need of some varied cuisine, and this place fits the bill! We got: chicken momo, lamb vindaloo, and chicken Tikka masala, with naan for a side. The chicken momo was served with a savory chutney (sesame forward flavor, it was delicious). Nothing to complain about the lamb vindaloo, but my husband and I both agreed that the Tikka masala was the highlight. Just the right balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. We also both go a mango lassi. I was expecting a bigger serving. I typically eat about half of what I'm served at a sit down restaurant and bring the rest home. There were no leftovers here- We both ate everything before we managed to grab a picture. That said, I still think the price is appropriate for what you get. 1 appetizer, 1 naan, 2 entrees, and 2 specialty drinks cost $68, which considering the fact that I spent $20 yesterday for a coffee and a sandwich at another place I frequent, I think that's not bad for a sit down dinner for two with extras. My husband said it could use more spice, but it was perfect for me, and I can tolerate some kick. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu, especially the Nepalese style dishes which I've never had before.

Listen, I'm not a great food photographer but please understand how good this all tasted.

I was in Albion for six weeks and Brockport seemed close enough for some Indian food, and I was not disappointed! This place just opened, and I wish I had been in WNY a little longer just so I could sample more of the menu. Well spiced, nicely presented, everyone who works there is wonderful. Also, Brockport is a great little town to hang out in for a few hours, make a day of it.

This review is for the buffet thus I cannot attest to the a la carte options. Pro: unlimited chai. Con: somewhat small selection of menu for which the food was not particularly memorable, mostly oily. Service was otherwise ok. for those not exposed much to Nepali/Indian food, a good option to pique your tastebuds. For those experienced with Nepali-Indian, quite watered in flavor, too and too much sugar in their savory dishes. Chai: the only good thing amongst their dishes to be honest. Would rather spend my buffet money sitting here drinking this for 2 hours reading a book and just skip the meal. The butter chicken had too much sugar. This seems to be a trend across the US in American-Indian buffets catering to the American taste buds. This was disappointing but at least the sauce was fun to dip for your naan. Chick pea dish- a curry like dish with bell pepper undertows. Fried fish dish- think a fish fry with some veggies. Definitely a heavier dish. Fried rice- an ok dish as well. Would recommend Indian buffets towards Henrietta for better culinary experience

The menu is a good mix of Indian, Nepalese and Chinese style dishes. The waiter asked about our spice tolerance and everything was made to order to match what we liked for heat. The atmosphere was laid back and everyone was friendly. I think one of the folks working the floor was the owner, or maybe owners daughter and she was really nice. I'm looking forward to warming up some leftovers tomorrow and we will definitely go back.

Himalayan Kitchen in Webster did a really impressive job capturing that essence! The Butter Chicken sauce was absolutely outstanding--rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. While it's made with chicken breast instead of thighs, the taste more than made up for it. I paired it with rice and garlic naan, which complemented the dish beautifully. The only thing I wished for was a side of lentils to round out the meal. My husband ordered the chicken and shrimp chow mein, and he said it was one of the best he's ever had--high praise! And the samosas? Simply AMAZING. Crispy, flavorful, and definitely a must-order. On top of the delicious food, the service was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back!

My first impression once inside was there were no customers and no one to greet me. The buffet featured in photographs and reviews on Yelp was empty. The restaurant environment was cozy, as soft music played. Finally a young gentleman seated me with the menu. I inquired about the buffet and he said they had to stop the buffet due to food waste. He brought me chilled water with no ice (not my request) and I placed my order of lamb vindaloo, vegetable biryani, and plain naan bread. I asked to keep the menu for a dessert choice after my meal. Sadly, I did not take pictures of my food in the restaurant, but the food was very tasty. I requested spicy versions and both entrees were on point. When I arrived, a few minutes after 2 pm I was aware the restaurant closed at 3 pm. By the time I finished my first plate of lamb and biryani, the young man asked if I wished to choose my dessert now because they close at 3 pm. I had 16 minutes until closing. I reluctantly declined dessert because I was sensing they wanted me to leave. I took one more plate of food and he brought me my check and I requested a to go box for 3/4ths for my biryani and all but a half piece of naan bread. I finished my plate and transferred my food to the to go box. The young man left and there was about 8 minutes to closing. An older man emerged and spoke out loud from across the restaurant. I thought surely this person isn't talking to me from across the room. I continued to my bill and signed off and then the same man came closer and said are you finished? We are closed. I complained that he was rushing me and he reiterated that they close at 3 pm. I replied I arrived minutes after 2 pm and there were no patrons here. I waited patiently for my food to be prepared and I was reminded twice that the restaurant closes at 3pm. I asked him did he feel his actions were rude and if he felt any responsibility to the welfare of his customer to finish their meal peacefully? After all, I didn't walk in 30 minutes before closing, nor were they busy. I was their only customer for approximately an hour. He replied no we close at 3 pm and I need to get home and then come back later. There was no concern for me as a customer! The food was good and seasoned as requested. Customer service was disappointing and was rude. The older employee felt no responsibility or remorse for his actions. It is clear to me why there were no customers in the restaurant.

Putting in a couple appetizers, we opted in for the kibbeh, baba ghanouj, and manakeesh (za'atar w. cheese). The kibbeh was seasoned and fried perfectly. The baba ghanouj was creamy and accompanied with a very nice and airy pita bread, and the manakeesh was wonderful. It reminded me of a sauceless cheese pizza with the middle eastern spices. For mains, we opted in for the Mashawi which included a trio of meats. Kofta, beef kabob and chicken. All three meats were nicely seasoned, but the star meat for us was the kofta. The side of hummus was nice, and the salad was nicely seasoned even before pouring the dressing over it. Also opting in for the lamb chops, I found these to be perfectly grilled and incredibly tender. These were grilled closer to a medium-well, but still remained juicy and packed full of flavor. We found our server and the kitchen employee (perhaps the owner) to be pleasant and full of hospitality. This small-from-the-outside restaurant blew us away and we enjoyed everything we had. We look forward to returning in the near future to try other items on their menu.

All in all a good experience with good food. I will make one recommendation, there are 2 doors to get into the restaurant. The restaurant was clean, but in between the 2 doors, was pretty dirty with a lot of debris in the corner as you walk out. Definitely 4 stars, but cooked a little bit differently and the floor swept at the entrance, would have been 5 stars. Oh well, I'd go back though!

We ordered a couple different dishes and shared Dahi Puri Chicken Choyela Chicken Steam Momo's Chicken Chow Mein Thakali Set - Mutton Paratha I'm a huge Dahi Puri lover. This version blew me away... The flavor profile was perfection. ( My friend LOVED this dish as well. ) Next up were the Momo's. They're known for their Momo's. I do prefer a steamed Momo, so we went with steamed chicken. The portion size was quite large and the dipping sauce paired well; they had so much flavor. The next appetizer dish was one I have never had before; Chicken Choyela. I generally don't enjoy crunchy / textured foods but my friend quite enjoyed the puffed rice addition of this dish. The chicken had a unique flavor, unlike anything I've had before. It was solid. Their Chow Mein is another dish that they're known for. I seem to prefer noodles over rice these days. (But, I'm generally disappointed with most places noodles.) These were SUPERB! They had a smoky flavor to them and were a 10/10. I've had Thali but never a Thakali. While similar, they are different; We chose the mutton option. This dish was incredibly tender and bursting with flavors. Dish after dish impressed us. This spot hits all the right notes and is a definite must visit if you're in the area. My friend was so impressed, he's already planning his next visit!
