I am so grateful for Naantastic. We stopped in on a cold day and received a hot lunch and warm friendly service. We had questions and Semrit was so patient and positive. The food is always top notch! The pakora is spicy and the naan warm and flavorful. The variety of teas and lemonades are fun too. Thank you Semrit!! Oh and I love the sign in the bathroom!!

We were driving across New York and found Naan-Tastic when searching for vegetarian restaurants. It's an Indian-fusion, fast food place set up similar to a Qdoba. At the counter, you choose a bowl, burrito, or naan-taco. Then, you choose from quinoa, spring mix, turmeric rice, or French fries for the base. Next, you select a protein...3 of the 6 options are meat free. Your creation is topped with makhani, Masala, or vindaloo sauce. Toppings such as corn, grilled veggies, cranberries, cilantro, etc. are next. Finishing sauces and a variety of sides also are available. You pay for your finished creation at the register at the end of the line and you're ready to eat! I selected a bowl with the quinoa base, paneer, grilled veggies, corn, masala sauce, and raita finishing sauce. I also ordered a mango lassi. The serving size was ample. One of my fellow travelers ordered quinoa with Gardein chicken, vindaloo, cilantro and other toppings. The other ordered a bowl with turmeric rice, paneer, vindaloo, and toppings. Our creations were tasty and, as is best for traveling, quick! The lassi was the classic version and quite refreshing. The ambiance is casual. The space is brightly colored with a motorcycle decorating the area just inside the door. We will stop in again when traveling this way.

I've been here twice now and got the build your own bowl both times. I like how many options there are for different combinations. I got the naan on the side as well as a mango lassi. The food portions are generous and food is yummy and filling. Staff is friendly and helpful as well!

I've never had a bad meal at naantastic. Service is friendly, and the ability to customize your meal based on preferences is fabulous. So much flavor and options to try some thing different each time. Nice clean, bright interior highly recommend.

4.5 stars. I've come here a good 3 years after I was last here and I am glad to say they've only gotten better with their flavors! We ordered the naan taco with chicken Tikka and vindaloo and the bowl with lamb kheema and vindaloo. We also got a side of samosa makhani. I put everything except the sev and cranberries on my naan taco and it was delicious. Spicy, flavorful, simply yummy! My brother got everything except the sev and loved his bowl too. The samosa makhani was a little too restuarant-y makhani masala (lots of butter and tomato) and bland samosa taste as is the custom here in the US. But I liked it overall. Introducing this place to my brother, who loved it, was awesome! Keep up the good work guys. Hope you continue opening new stores everywhere!

I don't know a lot about Indian food, which makes choosing things to put together from a board difficult. I like to go in and point to a dish and they just make it. I"m pretty open to trying different things, though, so I basically had the woman behind the counter walk me through my options. Of course, that means I can't recreate this... what is the sauce!? No idea. I also got Samosas, which were tasty, but too much food along side the bowl. Obviously, I ate it anyway. Anyway, it was really good. The place was clean. The staff tolerated my complete ignorance. Top notch experience. Except that she prepped it to-go when I said I was dining in. But seriously. Whatever.

    Flavorful! Nutritious! Clean!

Putting in a couple appetizers, we opted in for the kibbeh, baba ghanouj, and manakeesh (za'atar w. cheese). The kibbeh was seasoned and fried perfectly. The baba ghanouj was creamy and accompanied with a very nice and airy pita bread, and the manakeesh was wonderful. It reminded me of a sauceless cheese pizza with the middle eastern spices. For mains, we opted in for the Mashawi which included a trio of meats. Kofta, beef kabob and chicken. All three meats were nicely seasoned, but the star meat for us was the kofta. The side of hummus was nice, and the salad was nicely seasoned even before pouring the dressing over it. Also opting in for the lamb chops, I found these to be perfectly grilled and incredibly tender. These were grilled closer to a medium-well, but still remained juicy and packed full of flavor. We found our server and the kitchen employee (perhaps the owner) to be pleasant and full of hospitality. This small-from-the-outside restaurant blew us away and we enjoyed everything we had. We look forward to returning in the near future to try other items on their menu.

(14.99 per person)Would be fantastic for lunch breaks and meetings. I chose a buffet because my BF had never eaten Indian food. I wanted him to try a little bit of anything. He thought it was good. He tried everything, but he wasn't overly impressed. He is also a huge meat and potatoes guy. I really didn't expect him to impressed. I just enjoyed seeing him try something new. I am from another area, that had amazing Indian food. The Indian Buffett, I am used to, is very large and the restaurant was always filled with Indian people, which is rare was because people from India, very rarely go out to eat their homeland food. I think it spoiled me. Because this was not even close. But also the price was half of what I would have paid. I was happy with it, to satisfy a craving. But I am going to try other Indian restaurants to compare. It's a great deal, and if you are unsure if you like Indian food, this is a good way to try a little bit of something, to see if the flavors are for you, without spending a lot of money. Makes me wonder if their dinner and weekend selections are different, hmmm! That thought literally just came to me. lol I did feel like it was more for vegetarians, and I highly recommend it for Vegetarians. Many of the foods were meat free. The rest were all chicken. The service was excellent. They were very nice, and it is owned by a small business was owner from Nepal. I love supporting our local immigrant businesses, as well as black owned businesses. I enjoyed it, and will go back. But this is my first Indian restaurant I've tried in Rochester, so I have no idea how it compares to the others in the area. I also might go back and order off the menu. I would have loved a biryani. Maybe some goat if on the menu. Also, I may have missed it, but I do not recall seeing anything sweet. India has some amazing sweet treats. The restaurant was lovely, its decorations were pretty and on point. I loved our table, we had a small table away from others and by the window. It gave it more of a lunch date vibe. We had fun. Our server was very nice, and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. It's a nice place and I recommend giving it a try. This review is for the buffet thus I cannot attest to the a la carte options. Pro: unlimited chai. Con: somewhat small selection of menu for which the food was not particularly memorable, mostly oily. Service was otherwise ok. for those not exposed much to Nepali/Indian food, a good option to pique your tastebuds. For those experienced with Nepali-Indian, quite watered in flavor, too and too much sugar in their savory dishes. Chai: the only good thing amongst their dishes to be honest. Would rather spend my buffet money sitting here drinking this for 2 hours reading a book and just skip the meal. The butter chicken had too much sugar. This seems to be a trend across the US in American-Indian buffets catering to the American taste buds. This was disappointing but at least the sauce was fun to dip for your naan. Chick pea dish- a curry like dish with bell pepper undertows. Fried fish dish- think a fish fry with some veggies. Definitely a heavier dish. Fried rice- an ok dish as well. I ate here tonight and everything was genuinely delicious. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and asked for it spicy. It delivered ~ bold flavor, a nice kick, and a rich, creamy tomato sauce that tasted fresh and well balanced. The basmati rice was perfectly cooked and made the ideal base for soaking up every last bit of sauce. And I have to say it: the garlic naan might be the best I've ever had. The garlic wasn't just sprinkled on top, it felt like it was tucked into the folds of the bread, so every bite had that buttery, garlicky goodness. I kept dipping it into the tikka masala until the bowl was basically spotless. I also had hot chai, and it was outstanding. So good I ordered a second cup.
