Best pad Thai this side of the valley!!! Sometimes I dream about it! So good can't go wrong here!

It's disappointing that I have to make this review because the food is amazing, but the service today was insulting. Bob hair cut, Brown/Red haired Asian lady who may be the owner or manager asked me how my coworkers and I got a $22 soup on the online ordering when it's supposed to be $25. She then asked me to pay the difference of $3 because the website had the wrong price. It is NOT a paying customer's responsibility to make sure the restaurant's website has the correct prices. I told the lady I would not be paying the difference. She then proceeds to say "I will let this time slide," NO. She is not letting anything slide, because it is not my fault her website had the wrong price for the soup. I've attached screenshots of the website with the price and the receipt. It's a shame because our office loves ordering here. How discouraging. read more

I've been craving pad see ew all week! This definitely hit the spot. Not only is it conveniently located walking distance from my work but the portion and taste is great for the price! I liked the spicy eggplant dish I got today. It was not super flavorful but also was not greasy so a good lunch pick for $15. I also got the thai iced tea with coconut milk. It was pretty good but a little expensive at $8. I ordered for pick up on Door Dash (because they didn't have a direct website ordering option) and I wish they had a notes field to put requests (no onions). We ordered for the first time a to go order. The food and portions were dedent but we had a bbq chicken the food came in a bag and they gave one sauce for 4 pieces of chicken, no hot sauce. Super yummy Thai food conveniently located on Ventura! Came for my first time tonight with a group of 7. We ordered: coconut soup large, pineapple fried rice, yellow curry, chicken pad thai, eggplant tofu, and spicy basil chicken. Best dishes: eggplant tofu, pineapple fried rice and the coconut soup mmmmm. Our server was this nice Asian lady -- perhaps the owner. Let's just call her mama. Mama served us all patiently. There's a lot of good Thai in the area. Stopped in to check out this place at dinner time. We were the only dine-in customers. My wife's yellow curry was fine, though I thought it was a little watery. I tried the Pad Thai, which was likely a mistake on my part because that dish can easily be too sweet if not done carefully. And this was a combination of too sweet and the noodles had a strange, gelatinous consistency. The food was not offensive in any way, but just didn't connect for me. Orange chicken was not colorful or had any taste of the orange sauce, really bad . The rice wa soggy , The banana rolls desert, was not even cooked, the only thing good was the chicken pad thai .. This place is my secret weapon when I'm super hungry and want to eat quickly. For the last several years they have always come through in a pinch and I am a happily returning customer. I am the queen of Thai takeout. Spicy Lime takes the cake! Not only were my old favorites super solid here, but they also put a delightfully unique spin on them. We ordered the green curry with white rice, pad see ew with beef and the fresh rolls. LOVED the green curry with tofu! I also loved the big hunks of eggplant in there. The veggies were plentiful and delicious! The pad see ew was delicious, though I wish there was more broccoli in it. There was some other sort of green (I think kale?) that gave it a really nice earthy flavor. The fresh rolls were, well....FRESH! Highly recommend. The dipping sauce that came with it was delicious too. My only *small* complaint was that the portions seems a little on the small side. The rice that came with the curry was definitely only enough for one person, so if you are big rice eaters, be sure to order extra. Aside from that, definitely delicious Thai food! Delicious food. All the Thai staples done well--from the curries to the stir fries. The Thai tea is also excellent. The restaurant itself is cute (a great place to take a date), with plenty of room. This place is not big not small but a good size spot a good amount of seating and open kitchen, it's very clean and so is the kitchen which I appreciate most. It's located in a shopping center with garage parking that you have to pay when the attendant is there lol. The food was amazing so good I got a wonton soup chicken and chicken pad Thai every dish was phenomenal the soup had so much flavor and the pad Thai was delicious and the chicken was juicy and not dry and the sauce they put was sweet and man so good!!!! The sauce for both wasn't salty like I've had in the past, it was delicious! All reasonably priced and they have lunch specials; I ended up getting the regular portion only because I didn't need the egg roll and would've rather had more of the entree :) You can park below the plaza, I believe they validate. Fresh rolls are amazing! The crispy fish garlic is the whole fish and always fresh and very tasty sauce. All their soups are delicious. The food is great here, but the prices are high. We ordered drunken noodle with tofu, fresh roll with shrimp, and green duck curry with rice. The total was $51, which is more expensive than buying sushi. My husband ate the duck curry and it didn't have much duck in it, to be honest. He had to look for it and barely found any. We also ordered it in medium spicy, but it was quite spicy! I'm glad we didn't order it in regular spicy. Unfortunately, I don't think we will come back here.
