Thai tea

Came here with a friend on a Friday afternoon to catch up before his work shift. He was in the mood for Thai food, and this spot was conveniently located between us, so we decided to give it a try. It's a small shop with only a few tables inside, and most customers seemed to be ordering takeout, but that made for a quiet and comfortable dine-in experience. We ordered the chicken fried rice and spicy beef salad. Both dishes came out quickly and were really tasty -- flavorful without being overly oily or salty. The portions were generous for the price, and the spice level was just right. You can tell the food is freshly made and handled with care. The people working there, who I assume are the owners, were very friendly and welcoming, both when taking our order and when serving the food. Overall, a great little spot for casual Thai food at a fair price. I'd definitely come back again to try more dishes or grab takeout in the future.

Spicy Bite Thai Kitchen brings Thai food to Whittier locals. This is a simple Thai kitchen that simply wants to serve Thai recipes from Thai Mama and Chef, Anna. Everyday she pours all of her heart and energy to give her customers what they crave. Each dish are her recipes that her son and hubby absolutely adore for years. This Thai Kitchen is a quick take away spot meant for you to enjoy at work or with people at home. Dishes locals love include orange chicken, spicy basil crispy pork belly, chicken larb for health nuts, a rich coconut Penang curry and their spicy fried rice! By the way, you can pick your slice level from 0 to CRAzyyy Spicy. My absolute favorite thing to get is their mango sticky rice and when I go home, I scoop a large vanilla ice cream from my freezer! It the perfect dessert from texture, sweetness and satisfaction.

Take-out spot for Thai food!! Less options than a traditional Thai restaurant, but they excel at the items they have! I loved the Thai tea here. Their level 4 was pretty spicy for me, so really humble yourself when choosing your spice level or else you won't be able to gorge on this delicious meal!!!! I loved the mango sticky rice for dessert.

Easily the best Thai food I've had in the Whittier area! My favorites are the orange chicken, shrimp rolls, and spicy fried rice with chicken. For the rice, I go with spice level 3 which is definitely spicy but still super flavorful and enjoyable without overpowering the dish. Their Thai Iced Tea is amazing too! I've taken it to-go and it doesn't get watered down, which I really appreciate. Service is super friendly and it's a great spot for takeout when I want a delicious and reliable Thai meal. Love it here!

Recently came in and was welcomed in by an incredibly kind and warm woman. Later to find out, she's the owner and the only one who really runs the entire restaurant alone (aside from the help of her husband and son). I had quite the feast, grabbing a few various items just to try things and the flavor was great! A few that really shined for me were their Tom Khah soup, Orange Chicken, Pad Thai (standard favorite), and the Mango Sticky Rice. I will say, it is a very small space with only 2 tables so I would imagine most people grab the food to go. This is a spot I'd recommend for simple, straight forward Thai food!

WOWWWWWWWW!!! This thai spot was honestly so AMAZING. the PAD THAI WAS perfectly balanced! and don't even get me started on the MANGO STICKY RICE.... it literally melts in your mouth and is the perfect ending to the meal. On top of that the owner IS SO SWEET!! she checked on us so many times, talked to us with so much warmth, and made the whole experience a 10/10. The food was delicious!!! BUT her kindness made it even more unforgettable :)

Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice

Just been here recently with my girlfriend and wow amazing !! I always love trying new places and I recently was recommended this place at work so I had to give it a try. Was a very small little spot kinda could be hard to miss but it's in a little shopping center. The food was amazing as I got the pineapple fried rice and my girlfriend had the pad Thai. Both were full of flavor and had so much care taken when made. The menu had a lot of options and wasn't limited at all!! Will be back to try again

beef Fried rice

ordered beef fried rice but it was all rice and a few pieces or beef/veggies. Service was great & ambiance.

curry, thai iced tea, beef salad and thai spaghetti. spicy level 3

Such a cute mom and pop Thai take out restaurant. Anna, the owner and chef runs the restaurant by herself! Her curry and beef salad were my favorite. Her Thai iced tea and sticky mango rice were also good.

A family owned vibe, really nice people working hard together, well maintained business, grade A if this means anything to you.. got this TomYum Soup that does wonders when not feeling well.. it works fast so be prepared to feel ready for the next day.. it is spicy.. and for that I really recommend it..

Pad Thai

Best hidden gem Thai spot in Whittier! It is a small, family-run restaurant and every single dish tasted so fresh and homemade. I tried their chicken pad thai, and it had the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory with juicy chicken that made it super satisfying. The tom yum soup was bold, spicy, sour, and full of aromatics that hit instantly. It was perfect for the rainy weather! The spicy beef salad came with tender beef tossed in a bright chili-lime dressing that was zesty, refreshing, and addicting. And of course, the Thai tea was creamy, sweet, and the perfect drink to tie everything together. I genuinely loved every dish I ordered Go support this amazing small business!

Fast service, good food! :) we got Thai teas, pad see ew with beef, spicy noodles with beef, and mango sticky rice. The Thai tea was extra delicious. It was my first time trying the mango sticky rice and it was amazing. The noodles were very good too! As of May 2024, there was no dining area, but hopefully we can eat here again when they get dine-in tables.

spicy Spicy Bite Popcorn(top), Spicy Basil combination(chicken, beef, shrimp), and another spicy basil(just shrimp) - rice is a side!

Been here multiple times, by far the BEST thai food ive had in the area and surrounding area, i love everything ive tried here, i really enjoy the spicy tom yum soup very citrusy! but my go to is the spicy basil combination plate (chicken, beef, shrimp) it never fails to make my day, its PACKED with flavor, a real10/10. The service, also a 10/10, I belive the owers name is Ana and she is very polite and helpful if you have any questions, on my last visit in i was debating between a couple of options and decided to narrown it down and got a couple things, next thing you know she walks over with a small plate of the orange chicken i was thinking of trying!!! very kind and genuine couple that own this place, been coming here for about a year and look forward to many more!!

My son chomped them down! Khao soi - 5/5 - this was my husband's dish so I had a little bowl to try. It was definitely flavor and a good palate cleanse for my pad see ewe. The flavor was strong, soup was creamy, and noodles were ideal. The only downside was being told the beef was $8 extra? Crazy! Pad see ewe - 4/5 - it was on the sweet side and a bit too saucy for my liking. I also wish there was more egg to balance out the textures a bit more but I did love the amount of beef in it. My son also loved the noodles a lot!

Stopped by Thai Original BBQ in Cerritos and had a pretty good experience overall!…read more I ordered the ribs with fried rice, and both were good. Nothing to complain about when it came to the food, but I definitely want to come back and try a few more dishes before giving my full opinion on the place. What really stood out was the service. It was a last minute decision to go out to dinner, and we arrived a little after 8 PM. When we got there, the front door was wide open and there were quite a few people inside, so we walked in. The woman at the front asked, "Can I help you?" My husband asked if they had a table available for three. She looked around and then responded, "Well, are you going to order fast? Because we're closing at 9." I completely understand that we arrived close to closing, and I'll take responsibility for not checking the hours beforehand. Had I known they closed at 9, we probably wouldn't have come in that late. That said, the way it was communicated was very unwelcoming, especially as first-time customers who had never been to the restaurant before. There are definitely more courteous ways to let customers know that the kitchen or restaurant is closing soon. We ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Unfortunately, the interaction left such a negative first impression that I don't see myself coming back.

fire tiger thai food in whittier was such a good experience!! the pad see ew was AMAZING,…read moredefinitely my favorite thing we got. it had that slightly charred, smoky taste that i love, and the noodles were so flavorful. we got the combination one, which came with a few different things, and there was honestly a lot of food. we also got the steamed chicken dumplings, which were pretty normal tasting and nothing too crazy, but still good. the thai tea was sweet, but honestly one of the best thai teas i've had! the place was small but had nice seatings but don't sit in the corner you'll feel closed off. also wished it was a bit cooler inside. we tried the mango sticky rice too, which was my first time having it. it was really tasty and i liked the mango, although it wasn't super ripe. the service was amazing, our waiter went above and beyond. the only thing i wasn't a huge fan of was the orange chicken because it tasted a little artificial to me. overall, i really enjoyed it and would definitely come back for the pad see ew!!
