Beautiful restaurant both inside and out. Seating both indoors and outside. This place accommodates any size party, so come alone or come with friends. There's seating for everyone. The service here is excellent, professional, and extremely attentive to their customer's needs. No matter the occasion, this place is open to guests celebrating anniversaries, weddings, and even those of us just celebrating life. So come dressed up, or come in resort casual. All are welcome here. The menu is an eclectic mix of Thai, Asian, and Mexican. Rich in flavor and flare, Spice Market hits all the basics of a delicious melting pot of culture and food. Swing by and give it a try! Customer service: excellent Menu: fish meat, poultry, vegetables Seating: indoor/outdoor Ambiance: Resort casual to dressy Reservations: yes, they take reservations (highly recommended in high season)

I was seeking a nice restaurant to eat at for my stay in Punta Mita. Spice Market came highly rated (even on Trip Advisor) so i made my reservation. I arrived promptly at 6pm when they opened and was told by Suzy (the hostess), they were waiting for me! She offered many seating options (in/outside, table, or booth) which I appreciated. I settled on a small table outside with a pool and ocean view. She asked if I had food allergies and let me know my server Ricardo was OTW. I had looked over the menu already so I knew I wanted the Miso glazed Seabass, fried rice, and spring rolls. All was great however I thought the sea bass would really have a GLAZE (like at Truluck's), but it didn't an had a kick to it. I still enjoyed it and left full. I wouldn't mind returning but I'd sit inside and it would be nice to have not so many people greet my table. Ricardo was there each and ever time a coarse or drink came to the table. Then I had a "presenter" Victor, who placed and described each coarse as well as Veronica who assisted Ricardo and bagged my meal. Plus another gentleman who refilled my water. Geez!I guess being overly taken care of is better than no one at all! Word to the wise, don't consider the prices of each item when budgeting for your meal if looking on Open Table. I did that and was taken back when I got my bill. The NEW prices, are not updated on OT. Also, there is a 10% service charge ALREADY added to your bill so no need to tip if you don't want.

One of best restaurant experiences! We did a chefs tasting and everything was delicious. The pandan cake was my favorite-- tasted just as I remember from Singapore.

This place is here at the W hotel my little slice of paradise in Punta de Mita,, it could easily be an 11/10 the food is amazing all local seafood with an Asian twist such as catch of the day tostada and shrimp green curry What sets them apart is the service Diego, Ricardo, chonita and dianita treated me like family and they were the reason I ate here 3 out of my 4 nights They even made me a good bye dessert in my last night what an experience

    Sushi goodness. Fresh and delicious!

Diego greeted us as soon as we arrived for our special dinner at the Spice Market. He had us at hello! We loved every minute of your visit here. The food was delicious, the margaritas were awesome... I had the spicy margarita and my brother had the ginger margarita and both were tasty. The sushi was incredibly fresh and we loved every bite. Because the dumplings and other dishes that also were spicy and I would order again. I posted some pictures for you to see... Hope you enjoy it, and if you go, let me know how you like it too No matter where you're staying, it's worth a shot! And if you come, I recommend asking for Diego, because he knows how to make it really special. I think the chef must like him too because he sent things out to us with extra love.

Cool atmosphere and food was great. Diego took excellent care of us! A good change of pace between mostly Mexican and seafood options elsewhere.

    Nice set up!

Great fusion restaurant. Definitely have the shrimp dumplings, ginger fried rice, pork belly buns, assorted sushi, spring rolls! This was an awesome set up for two! Great service and fun atmosphere. We look forward to coming back again!

This place is SO good! 1. The atmosphere is everything. You get a nightclub vibe with awesome decor. 2. The food is amazing. We got: pepper shrimp, edamame, chicken samosas, lemon chicken, fried rice and the coconut cake. Seems like a lot of food but it's all shareable plates! 3. Impressed by the service! Ricardo gave us all the recommendations made sure his team walked us through everything we ordered when it got to our table!

Scenery from outdoor seating. Watch out for bugs!

First off, it's indoor/outdoor so bring some bug repellent! Menu is limited right now because of COVID and also accessible via QR code, not a paper menu. They recommend eating "family style" so we all ordered what we wanted and then shared once it arrived. They tell you up front that the food comes out as it's ready. It's a nice concept in theory but some of our party was left with no food (of their own) for 30-45 minutes. Let's start with the good - Phenomenal spring rolls, SPICY black pepper shrimp, perfectly crispy fried calamari, delicious New York strip, and also perfectly cooked baby corn and broccoli. The rest, just okay - chargrilled chicken (basically burnt, covered in citrus), fried rice (hardly any flavor, only vegetable included was onion), chicken satay (also hardly any flavor), pork belly and chicken buns (way too much bread, hardly any meat inside). As much as it pains me to say it, their "famous" coconut cake was not great. There's some sort of herby flavor baked in the green cake, but the green ice cream was good. It didn't seem at all like a coconut cake. Lastly, the drinks are expensive and are 90% ice, served in a cute tiki cup. Skip them! The view though, FABULOUS. This place is especially nice after a week of eating Mexican food when you're wanting something different.

My boyfriend and I ate here our first night of our vacation staying at the W. Our servers, Veronica and Allen, were very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The bar didn't have tamarind so she went to another bar in the hotel to get us tamarind margaritas. All the food had excellent flavor. Most notable for us were the shrimp dumplings with lobster sauce and mushrooms and the drunken noodles (I didn't get a picture). Ambiance was nice and relaxing.

Plenty of fresh and crunchy veggies, though light on the chicken, which was in big cubes, not small chunks. Coconut rice was bland with no discernible coconut flavor. Thai food in Mexico, don't mind if we do!…read more Siam Cocina Thai was our first sit down meal on a Friday night. We were greeted as soon as we stepped in and guided to a table of our choice. The ambiance was perfect for dinner. Great lighting, awesome spaced out layout and still very intimate. I noted a lot of their vegetarian, vegan and even gluten free options on the menu as well as all the beverage options. We shared a bottle of mineral water and enjoyed a classic mojito (para mi) and cerveza (for him). I definitely eyed over their curry, noodles, plates, stir frys, soups, salads and appetizers but ultimately settled on some impressionable Yellow Curry w/ Tofu and a side of rice. It was so unique in flavor compared to curry back in California or even other countries I've visited... Definitely a bit of PV flare! Our server was very attentive, especially during the first half of our Siam experience. All the staff was kind, friendly and personable. Quality service + quality eats = can't beat! The decor is a blend of many inflections of Thai culture with trace amounts of Puerto Vallarta, especially in the floor patterns, tables and color palette. Restrooms are clean, easy to use and just based the bar/main register area toward the back center of Cocina Thai. We didn't have any sort of wait as it was the weekend before Beef Dip and not on a holiday. They do take reservations on their website online as well as via telephone. SCT gets busy for event weeks/weekends and major dine out holidays like Valentines, but generally is pretty easy to get seated and enjoy.

The Asian chicken soup was deeply comforting and flavorful; light yet incredibly satisfying. The tuna poke was beautifully presented and spot-on with flavor; fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced. We were in luck because we found such a place in Mi Cafe. We thought we'd have to wait a while for a table, but fortunate for us, a table opened up just as we entered what looked to be quite a popular restaurant. Jamie went for the MX$165 Popeye Eggs, a pair of scrambled eggs laid on a bed of fresh spinach leaves, ladled with ranchero sauce, and presented with avocado, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and crispy bacon strips (Photo 10). The freshness of the ingredients really enhanced the flavors of the dish. The same could be said about my order, the MX$165 Vegetarian Omelette which was a fluffy two-egger filled with zucchini, red onion, spinach, and sliced mushrooms accompanied by seasoned potato wedges and a fresh fruit cup (Photo 9).
