The menu is very interesting as it is an Asian fusion restaurant. I ordered two pork belly baos which was humongous and so good. For ramen and other soups they had a baby, regular, and supersize option which was really great as we all had different stomach room and reduced food waste. They also had chili oil and other seasoning and sauces on the table for us to use. We ordered bottled water which came in a fancy glass bottle which was cool. This place popped up from my Yelp app, as a place they thought I would like. Well, Yelp was absolutely right about that. Tucked away on a side street, it's likely I never would have found it on my own. I had the Pork Belly dumplings and also the Kim Chi Rice, and both were amazing. We also had the Pork Belly Ramen which was equally delicious. The place was decorated very nicely with an outdoor garden area. Our waiter was polite, prompt, and very helpful. Went to this place based on a recommendation from a local. And I'm sure glad that I did. It was a super cute asian fusion restaurant with a lot of different options. You could buy an array of dishes that were influenced by Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc. The dumplings were great - I even tried the pho dumplings. They were pretty good. The Baos looked Delicious that my friends ordered and the spring rolls were nice and fresh. Perfect for a hot and humid day. The staff was also nice and friendly and made wonderful suggestions. If you're in the area and you want Asian fusion this restaurant should be high on your list to consider. I mean where else can you find a taro donut for dessert. read more

My favorite restaurant in Puerto Vallarta hands down. Please do yourself a favor and visit - the owner is kind and very hospitable! Everything I and my friends had was amazing - but these are the musts: Steamed shrimp dumplings. These little packages of goodness...I could eat multiple orders myself. Pork belly bao. The steamed buns are soft and sweet, the pork belly is tantalizingly soft and firm, the homemade pickles and the barbecue sauce. I can't say enough about these. Lastly, the kimchi fried rice. Crispy little bits of rice, the perfect amount of kimchi heat, a tidbit of charred pineapple every now and then, and you can add pork belly or shrimp to it. I wish I was here longer so I could try everything on the menu. I did order the Thursday special wonton soup and it was sooo good. Do yourself a favor and eat here! The garden patio dining area was small but beautiful under a gorgeous hanging vine arbor with pretty purple flowers. Cocktails were hand crafted, artfully presented, and tasty. I had a vodka lemonade with fresh passion fruit. Very refreshing. Appetizers - Our group of 4 started with a handful of appetizers. Everything came out of the kitchen hot. Although everything was enjoyable, the fried cauliflower with dipping sauces, cheese lumpia (sort of like a Japanese mozzarella stick) and takoyaki were my favorite. Main course- We ate family style and shared the biang biang spicy noodles, kimchi rice, pork belly bao buns, fried chicken bao buns and a brisket ramen. The noodles and rice were underwhelming. I wish there were more vegetables and the flavor profiles were similar (both "kimchi like"). The winners were the bao buns. An absolute must if dining here. Overall the the food and drink were a nice flavorful Asian alternative to typical Puerto Vallartan fare. Reasonably priced as well. However, service was sporadic and at times downright lacking. The restaurant was not busy when we went but it took a long time for our server to take our order and bring our drinks. They also did not check in to see if we needed anything or ask how our meal was. Wish the staff was more attentive to their diners. read more

Water glasses didn't get refilled, appetizers came out intermittently AND they missed two we ordered for our small group. One appetizer arrived after we finished our entree. One entree arrived at least 15 minutes before the others...then after we all had finished they brought out another-duplicate of the first early entree. What a shit show! The cucumber salad lacked flavor because they had not marinated enough. The Biang Biang Noodles were spicy and salty, but not all that flavorful. The Japchae was entirely disappointing. Ok so, let's talk about the food here. Now, I went and tried the Saturday Pho special. It was amazing and I loved the brisket! For dessert I had the ice cream sundae. It was very big, but very good. Due to our extended stay in Puerto Vallarta, we thought we would give this place a try after reading the reviews as we have started to miss Asian food. We were told that we could only sit outside even though there were open tables inside. No big deal although it was very hot and humid to eat outside and ruined the experience even more. We ordered some appetizers and I will rate them below: Karaage 4/5 - this was over cooked. Takoyaki 4/5 - not bad, but the outside feels overcooked/over fried Summer roll 5/5 - this was actually good Now let me get to the main course: Ramen. The overall rating is 1/5. We ordered Tonkotsu Ramen and Tan Tan Ramen. Both were flavorless and bland. As soon as I saw the Tonkotsu Ramen come out I had a bad feeling - the broth is supposed to be rich and creamy but it looked clear like chicken broth. It also tasted very plain, as if the only thing they put in there was salt. I paid 60 pesos for extra chashu but there were only 4 small pieces of chashu TOTAL. Seriously?! As someone who was born and raised in Asia and have traveled and lived all over the world (including Japan), this was by far the worst ramen I have ever tasted. It is nowhere close to the real thing. I gave one star for the noodle as the texture was on point, however it was plain as well and not what you are supposed to use in this type of ramen. The bill was not cheap, and the food was definitely not worth it. Instant ramen will taste better than this.I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this place at all. read more

After a week in PV, we wanted something different. This place was delicious. The drinks were great! I had a lychee martini and my husband had the blueberry and passion fruit mojito. Came here on New Year's Eve, there was no wait and the wait staff was prompt in getting our drink and food orders, menu was well thought out and easy to understand, the food was both tasty and fresh, was recommended by the front desk clerk at our hostel and we are glad we made the drive. We had the pork belly bao and it came out first which was great! Then we shared the sampler which was fun to try without having too much of one thing, and then we each got a ramen, I got the miso in a small and it was good flavor but maybe could have used a lil more spice or something, overall the meal was good and easy and fresh. read more

I was happy when I saw the buns in the menu. So we really made our way going there. We reached there around 7:40pm in the restaurant. We were seated fast, but he didn't ask us if we wanted to sit down outside or inside. Because I wanted to sit down outside, sad! Then, we know what to order right away so we told the server what we want. Then, got our drinks in 5 minutes it's the Jalisco martini, and Thai iced tea but the food, it takes 45 minutes at least to have them in our table. I'm not kidding, we just ordered the soy garlic chicken, spring rolls, onigiri, chicken and pork bun, cheese lumpia. It's a little bit disappointing but life goes on. We paid around 800 to 900mxn peso for all of it. The bun that I was drooling for was a little bit disappointing. But their chicken was really nice and the onigiri too. read more

I ate at their new location that just opened on the Rio Cuale. It was one of the best meals I've had in Puerto Vallarta. The soft shell crab in green curry was divine. They had JUST opened the restaurant, so the service was a tad slow, but the staff were so kind to comp a glass of wine and AMAZING dessert! Try the chocolate cake with red wine. Love love this place. Amazing food. We met some locals here as well they said the food here is excellent. They are sooo right. Some confusion we thought were going to Ramen Ya, but just to let you know they have combined there businesses. So not to be confused!! All the food here is delish. Homemade. Grilled to perfect. And the ramen is delish!! Can't go wrong. I loved the way they grill the meat and barely had any fat which I like! It was perfect. We got the zucchini with pesto, mushrooms with chili sauce, 1 order of chicken, 2 bowls of soup, crispy coconut shrimp, and cucumber salad. Might sounds like a lot. But they are served tapas style. Meaning small plates! Perfect mini bits and for less then 2$-3$ we got all that food for $35. Here in the US that would have been at least $50! So definitely worth a try!! And they owner was super sweet. She knows what's she's doing. A quick 10 min drive to this place is just what we needed. read more
